Answered a call from this number. There seemed to be someone at the other end of the line but no one spoke then hung up.

Called by this number - silence, then hung up.

Received a call from these annoying little f######  knew my name and full address. Don't know how they got this. Said I am due a refund. Told them I have never had ppi or an accident. They hung up instantly.

How do these people know my mobile number name and other personal information???????? Surely there is something illegal happening there....apparently I am due a refund on some finance or load iv had in the past 10 years......to which I have never had either....hung up as soon as I said iv never had a load or anything on finance at all

got a call from this number this afternoon, couldn't actually here anything they were saying as there was a lot of interference, tried to end call a few times and couldn't so ended up having to switch my phone off completely and switching back on again to end the call.

I think they got my details from O2 because they asked for the bill payer of my contract, not me.

Had a call from this number some one by the name of Racheal, knew my name and moblie number how? alot of interference on line she said she would call back later. At least now I know it is a scam.call came at 17.25 today.

I called this number back as these companies tend to have a bad habit of constantly calling at inconvenient times. If you want to have your details removed from their database call 0161 820 2718 it's automated and only takes a couple of seconds

i was called by this no thismorning,i missed the call............................will let u know if it calls back!!!
my no IS ex-directory so no one should be calling unless ive given my mob no to them. only friends and family have it,plus the usual.

had a call from 01616626517 yesterday at 5:49pm, a woman asked if she may speak to me by my nickname, as i was busy at the time i said not at the moment, she said she would call back later, i told her dont bother, she asked do i even know why she is calling? i said no, she said something about a claim, i told her i have no claims, she just hung up

the fact the asked for me by my nick name, suggest its nothing genuine

Phoned me about my husband - argumentative and questioned my judgement.  Not to his knowledge i work in an industry that are very much against these 'companies'.  Told him if it was ever applicable i could do my own - became rude and quite angry.

Got a call from this number and was told i could claim my PPI back , i asked how they got my number and they said "none of my business" ! i told them i had already had a successful claim paid out and they said i could still claim for mortgage protection !! I asked to speak to a supervisor . They put the phone down .
I think this a company in Sale Manchester .

Any of you applied for a nationwide credit card very recently? I give very few details they used to contact me.

girlfriend just had a call from this number 40 mins ago.

Same pattern, knew her name, gave some bumph about money being owed to her. She hung up straight away when my girlfriend just answered no to all her questions. They're obviously fishing, questions like have you ever had household/loan/car credit etc. You'd think if they called you saying someone owes you money that they would know that stuff already!

Though she did say she was from macleans finance, but doubt that, maybe it's toothpaste day for scams callers, tomorrow it will be ginsters finance. Think it's a Manchester number.

Not sure what company they were but rang on my mobile and asked for someone by name - not me or anyone in my family or anyone i know.  he then asked if he could talk to me - i told him know and hung up

I was just called by this number but missed it so I called back and got an automated message saying it was an unurgent message about a claim and I didn't need to call them...funny that they can contact you but you can't contact them! And possibly coincidence I couldn't hear the company name!

Just had a missed call, have been very careful which companies have my number and know my details (don't enter competitions/enter surveys etc). As far as im aware the only companies that could have passed my information on are:
nationwide
orange
anything student finance related.
