just had a call from this number as well next time they ring up im going to give them hell! they have rang me constant for the last few weeks! they should be reported for harassment! stupid idiots get a prober job lol. wait until i answer it, its so annoying. who actually gives them our details anyways its ment to be private and confidential yeah my ****

Received calls from this nuber every day whilst on holiday abroad - never answered them.  Just recveived another on return to this country.  Caller told me that I was due a refund and then asked for details of all my credit cards, loans and mortgage.  Told him I didn't have any outstanding debts, loans or a mortgage.  He hung up.  Wish I had checked the number on the web so I could have been armed with all this information - I would have led the annoying little s--t a merry dance.

I have somebody keep calling from this number... spam for sure

Like Boardie, I had a missed call from this unknown number.  Rather than waste my money by ringing back to find who it was, I checked this site first.  Glad I did.  Thank you all!

Just filled in the online questionnaire from Barclays about PPI. Almost as soon as I pressed send I got a call from this number. Is that a coincidence?

just got a call from this number on my mobile - they asked for a Mr.Preston, told them no one here by that name, suddenly it was my lucky day as these wrong numbers 'benifit other people'...? started going on about claims so i cut them off. Complete sharks......

ive been getting calls to my house number for months where my dads answered the call the first time someone spoke to him saying they needed to talk to me about ppi claims. my dad told them i wasn't interested but they said they wouldn't stop calling till they spoke to me. i dont want to talk to them after that everytime he answered they put the phone down. the calls stopped over xmas but after putting the number in this site i realized they've started calling my mobile and may have started calling the house again this week.

my 13 year old daughter keeps getting missed calls from this number for th elast few days now. When u try to call the number back you can barely hear what the recording says.

Just got a call from this number on my work landline, a number which I don't give out. They must just randomly dial numbers but after reading all this, I won't be answering!

I have been called by this number several times offering me money back from a loan I have taken out, which I havent ever had!
They asked for me personally. Again, I dont know where they would have got my details from apart from 02, my bank, Lloyds TSB, or my Student Loan Company.

I did this a week ago and they have called again today.

Exactly the same-due a refund but never had a loan or car finance. Then asked if I had ever brought furniture at which point I realised they were duff and told them where to go. Want to know where got my full name and number from??

I have been called on my mobile several times in the past 3 weeks by this number.  Today they identified themselves as Claims Professionals from Manchester.  They start by saying that you might be owed some money and could claim it back.  They then start to tell you about the awful banks and financial institutions who have been commiting the most terrible crimes against humanity. They then say that if you have had any loan from a credit card, bank or motgage in the last 10 years then they can help you get compensation.  When I replied that I hadn't borrowed anything for over 10 years they didn't know what to say next.  They wouldn't say how they got my number but when I told them I was regisetered with the TPS and that left them speechless.  It's amazing how this company is so keen to get me some compensation without wanting anything for themselves..... or perhaps not!!!

Have been called by this number severel times now and its really starting to get on my wick.
If this number carrys on phoning me then I shall be going to the police about it and seeing what they can do.

I have received a number of calls from this number 01616626517 and the anonymous caller was silent this morning. It is really inappropriate for someone to disrupt your peace in that manner!

I suspect you are being charged by your mobile phone provider for the answerphone clicking in, even though a message isn't left.
It's worth checking with your phone company.

If so leave your phone on, switch off the answerphone function and turn off the volume. That way you won't hear it if it is a scam company ringing and ringing but you will still be able to see a call coming in from family and friends, and this way you also shouldn't receive any charges from your mobile company if that is what it is.

why should you have to switch the phone off and lose all communication because of these idiot companies chancing their arm.

lots of calls. knew my name I certainly did not approach this company, how did they get my number, there must be a way to stop these nuisance calls.They didn't have the decency to give a company name.
