they have called me so many times ! but always when im at work so cant answer, i have no car or insurance or have i ever (thank god) been in an accident resulting in a claim so god knows where they got my number from, but i do a lot of competitions to win holidays etc, even though i tick the DO NOT PASS ONTO THIRD PARTY boxes etc, it does make me wonder. im going to block this number as they sound like a pain in the a$$ from these comments ! ... they need to get a REAL job, i hate cold callers.

called me 20 mins ago didn't answer left my details with compare the market .com today, might just be a coincidence .

Who are these people - how did they get my number - such a nuisance something should be done to stop unsolicited calls.

I got a call from this number 01616626517. Had missed call on my phone from the, Don't know who this company is, I didn't bother to call them to find out, but they are based somewhere in Manchester, I know this as my mobile phone tells me the area where they are calling from.

Called back and the automated response is

"You were contacted today by Claims Professionals, this was a non-urgent call and you are not required to carry out any further action. If you wish your details to be removed from our calling lists, please redial  0161 820 2718, to repeat, 0161 820 2718 and your details should be removed as quickly as possible, thank you"

Had another missed call from this number again today. I've called back before to get an automated reply "You were called today by sales professionals.." I didn't listen to any more.
I never agree to have my details used, so where did they get my number? They seem to be ringing weekly usually mid-afternoon. And ref the above - I'm not on Orange, and not a student or related to one.
It's worrying that they seem to have names and addresses too.. how?

I've never been on a concert ticket site or done a survey on one, so I think you can ignore that one as just another  lie!
I suspect they will keep on at any number that gets a reply, as it proves its a valid phone. Pests.

Thanks for the phone No.0161 820 2718 to get rid of these nuisance calls, they always wait until I'm out of the UK and call me, but I do not answer unknowns.

I have been chasing down Verve Media for a number of weeks asking them to prove that I had opted in to anything (which I had not) since I started getting calls from good old LTA, who got my details from verve. I am now in the process of reporting them to the ICO as they promised me the relevant information would be sent to me, and then admitted that they did not have my permission and it was an "error". They even offered me £100 "compensation", perhaps that is because it is cheaper than what they could be fined...very strange company and obviously not very professional..
