I know who this appears to be;

it appears to be a company called Kitchen Units who appear to be the same company who appear tpo have ripped me off to the tune of £100, on the 15th Feb, 2012.

Like I say, it appears to be the same company!!

This company is an absolute rip off!!!! Sold me a kitchen and delivered it with parts missing, various shades of white, plans that wouldnt work and a dodgy cooker. Called the number of 40 times in just 15days only to be in a que, put on hold and then get cut off!! On the 3 occassions i got through to customer service they were rude, unhelpful and waiting for paperwork to come back off the driver that delivered my kitchen 2 days earlier???? I was unfortunate to have ripped my old kitchen out and now im left in such a mess!! DO NOT buy kitchens from this company known under several names kitchen units, kitchen uber and the number 0161 669 4785 u WILL regret it take my word. I only wish i would have googled this company before and i would have most certainly NOT paid the driver and sent him packing.

Its a spamming kitchen scam company that go by a few names and they like to spam forums

0161 669 4785 is the scamming kitchen company Uber kitchens that go by a lot of names including Uberkitchens, kitchensuber, Interior Home Designs of Rossendale and solidwoodkitchens manchester

It was set up by Vance miller (who is known as the kitchen gangster with a mlong criminal history and now fled the uk) Martin sersen (his partner in crime) and Matthew Leak (the person who does all the spamming and cold calling for them from rochdale 07506 706980)

they have been on rogue traders and ripped off thousands upon thousands of people i just dont know how the hell the manage to get away with the illegal things they do?

This is solidwoodkitchens who not only rip off and scam people but they spam 100s of websites a day. Just do a Google search for their number with a space like this 01616 694785 because that is the string they use for their spamming and you will see what a dirty and immoral company this is.

How they manage to still operate is beyond me?

Please do not entertain this company. Customer service is disgusting. They are all rude and lack people skills must of spoke to at least 35 advisers and still no further forward. The reason for so many advisers is they put you on hold and then disconnect the call. The only service you get is at the sales call. The kitchen itself that I received was 75% incomplete and damaged. Has no instructions and promised numerous times that there in the post and emailed. They disconnect the call when I say that the email not came through and they mutter under there breathe some rude remark. Now I can only assume the advisers are so fed up with all the complaints that's why their attuides are attrudious! It's a shame as overall kitchen quality not bad if the company would fix the mess at warehouse and after service. This company has just lossed a big order from me and I will be slating their service for life in the landlord circles! Not worth the gamble so please be aware!

The "slander" as you call it about Vance Miller and his kitchens can be backed up by legal actions against his companies and hundreds, if not thousands, of customers who have been taken in by him.  By the way, slander is spoken and libel is written.  The truth is neither slanderous or libellous.

Yet another number to add to my little list - this time claiming that I was on their database as someone who might have been miss-sold PPI.  Daft sods - I've never taken out a loan or any other form of hire purchase and, as I am retired, would have no need for payment protection insurance anyway!

I have a very useful phone which allows me to make my own voice ringtones - so this number will be listed, along with similar idiots, to ring with my "Nuisance caller!  Nuisance conman calling!" ringtone.  Saves a lot of time and worry.
