Call is from a Kitchen company, various guises, Rock Solid Kitchens, Kitchen Dreams

unsoliticted advertisement within five minutes of telling them not interested they phone my wifes mobile

This is a kitchen company -cheapestkitchensintheworld.com, aka rock solid kitchens and a number of other things. They have been involved in various scams and reported to watchdog and trading standards a number of times. check them out on various internet forums, they have scammed many people often sending badly made product or no product at all but keeping the compulsory deposit. If you have signed up for info on their website they will ring- I suggest you avoid them. nb if it seems to good to be true it probably is.

Looked on internet the site was really cheap kitchens, sales man was nice but requested £100 deposit when we advised that we did not have the money he said can't you pop down to the cash machine! we said we would think it over in a few days we were called the next day from the o8712000410 number. Then I had a look on the internet and called the office number on 01302 246004 and asked for full postal address and company name, I was told the name was Simply kitchens with the address being unit 4 Alston Retail Park Bradford Rd Keighley BD21 4AG on yell the telephone number is 01535 691595 so I called and asked if the same company and they said no, then I called really cheap kitchens on the other number and said what had happend and I am not comfortable with purchasing a kitchen as nothing is adding up.

May be they were genuine but I had a strange feeling that all the information wasn't adding up.

I recently paid my £100 deposit and then had call from this number no response chatting in background...bought fromm simply kitchens, guy who came round was great asked for the deposit didn't pressure us and for the price offered was very tempting as I'm selling my property, now Ive spoken with customer services I'm worried they don't seem to know who they are working for and couldn't find my order which I assumed they would be able to...now I'm worried, I took this on as a project in my late grandfather's memory (it was his house) and am terrified Ive been duped. This company only accept cleared funds cash or bankers draft, no cards no cheques...in my grief have I been scammed?

This is Simply Kitchens. DO NOT BUY OR LEAVE A DEPOSIT as this company is a total rip off. They came and measured our kitchen and after the salesman had left a friend checked the measurements which were all wrong. We sent the cancellation slip back by email the next morning as there is meant to be a 7 day cancellation period but after 5 months and hundreds of ignored emails letters and phone calls we still have not recieved any money back.

PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AS I WOULD HATE TO SEE ANYBODY ELSE BE SWINDLED THE WAY WE HAVE !

I have a sales man coming to see me tomorrow from kitchens uber, the appointment was set up by a telephone call I received after filling a information form request with kitchens uber.  Today I received a call from a man telling me he is calling me from kitchens uber, asked how i was getting on with my kitchen and what company's do i have comimg to see me, when I questioned why he is asking me he said he wants to book appointment with me, he doesn't need to know which other companys are seeing me if he is wanting to book an appointment, he apologised and quickly hung up....
I was left confused, I had already searched Kitchens Uber and found no bad review, so I then searched the origional number that had called to make my appointment for tomorrow and found it linking to, simply kitchens and rock solid.. Ive managed to save myself... thankyou

I had a sales guy in the other day left with a hundred pound deposit. The kitchen was priced very cheap. If only i had done by research!!!  Simply kitchens and Kitchenuber are the same company. After  reading the comments above I am cancelling my order ... I have read their terms of conditions ( which I read after he left) and it is shocking. You are responsible for the measuremenst made and they almost gurantee that items would be either lost damaged or wrong sizes. They only accept cash and the you have to check everything when they deliver .. hardly practicable with a delivery man breathing down your neck.. I will try my dammest to get my money back..

Wish I had read this earlier I just lost £100 as they are now called future kitchens !!

I was meant to be having this company coming to measure up and design my kitchen. They are running late so i decided to check the number i was going to call back and found all these comments. I am now happy that they have not arrived as I will definately not deal with them. If they do turn up i will just get rid of them. Thank you for the heads up as im sure that i may have been conned also.

I got a beautiful kitchen from them fitted just last week! I'd never taken any notice what number they used until I had a missed call this morning. I was a bit worried to tell you the truth because I thought they'd made a mistake with the pricing and were chasing me for more money. ( I got a full kitchen with granite worktops for £1800 :) Turns out they just wanted to send a surveyor out to do a quality check; they couldn't have been nicer and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Hi I had a quote from  Kitchens Uber yesterday, today they have called and said order will be delivered on Sat and fitter will be here on Monday, all seems a bit quick to me hence why I am looking at reviews - you sound as though you are very happy with your kitchen, my order states Kitchens Uber and the address is in Manchester - is this the same company?

i am now very confused. i had a very nice person come round to measure up for my kitchen, i had a very decent quote and he asked for 100 deposit, unfortunately i was not in the position to give it to him, he left his personal mobile number and said if i paid the deposit he wouls keep the kitchen for a year.. i dont know what to do now as the quote is very good..

im 44yr young joiner/kitchen fitter.seen advert on web,thout sounds the part.foned them to email them sizes.WE SEND SOMEONE ROUND SAID THE VOICE ONTHE FONE.i live 150 mls away.....so this guy turns up..EX NURSERY TEACHER.measures up.i take no [***] dont want should be this price or whatever.NICE BROCHURE.FREE TAPS.PRICE KNO ONE CAN TOUCH.he wanted 100 pound   Now,sorry isaid i will have to discuss it with my family.DEAL IS FOR TODAY ONLY. he said.ive been in the game for years i kno it isnt.so he measured up.miles out.after he went i read back of of slip.1 OR MORE OF THE APPLIANCES WILL BE MISSING...EH THEY ON GLUE OR SOMETHING....so 3 days later he foned said he was in the area.he could do the deal...isaid i was ok but....COULD HE TAKE IT OFF A CARD(so i was covered)  NO CASH ON DELIVERY.....NOW ASK YOURSELF.WHY WOULD A COMPANY NOT TAKE CARD.I DONE MY HOMEWORK AFTER HE SAID THAT...I SAY THIS ONCE..PLEASE DONT SIGN UP...THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM...THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU WAT U WANT..GIFT HORSE AND MOUTH SPRING TO MIND.HOPE YOU READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP..

i would no do it i did that with same compony kitchens uber in manchester i payed the deposit phoned them the next day cancelled it as council was puting 1 in a few weeks latter they said i will get the deposit this was 4 weeks ago kept phoneing for money back they put phone down on me about 6 times

seriously hope u r right. as i have paid a deposit for a kitchen for my childminding business, i'd be so upset if they did do something like a scam. when someone aint gt alot of money and have saved for nearly a year for this kitchen for my children its so hurtful when scammers do something like that. i just hope they do deliver. and if they do i will be posting a message
