Same here. So fed up with all of these cold callers. I have a BT call blocker phone but it only helps  a bit. At least it blocks the withheld and international ones but they can still leave annoying recorded messages!

Been called every day by this number for four weeks at least. All at various times of day. As I have caller ID I don't answer and , of course, they don't leave a message. Can they not take the hint? Eedjits

These people are a menace, can something be done to stop their unwanted calls?

3 years and counting they've been calling me, so no, from what I've seen no one is interested in doing anything to stop this kind of harrasment.
watchdog or some other show may do a feature now and then, but they prefer the pensioner rip off call stories for the shock value. So far their is no legal mechanism to stop them and your line provider, who could stop this in an instant, won't because calls = profit. So, instead your line provider see's this as an additional revenue source for themselves by getting you to pay more for caller id and blocker packages to try and stop it yourself.
When you are in their system, you are an income generating number and nothing more.
This is a modern world.

Unfortunately, it is no use blaming your 'phone provider. It's a bit like saying Royal Mail shouldn't deliver junk mail without you telling them.  Telephone systems are automated and your provider cannot block numbers en masse. If you, personally, want individual numbers blocked then this is an extra service and, therefore, chargeable. In addition, most of these calls come from overseas and use fake numbers, so how can your provider block them?  If you want to stop calls to your own 'phone then you need to take action yourself, rather than wait for some anonymous "somebody" to do so.  Call Blocking units and Call Blocking 'phones are available from places like Argos and Amazon and are not very expensive for the peace and quiet they give.

I too have been pestered with unwanted calls for years, from this company and many others, even though we are registered with TPS. since I bought a new telephone just after Christmas NOT ONE has made it through to me although the handset tells me I have had up to 8 each day..best phone I have ever bought and managed to get it for £60 from Tesco  For anyone interested it is a BT8500, twin handset with answering machine..the main thing though is that it has a system built in called "Call Guardian". and believe me it actually works!! and costs nothing!!  best thing I have ever purchased..and can highly recommend to everyone

A woman calling herself "Carly" has phoned twice today from this number, in spite of being told I was with the TPS and not to phone again. I asked her to take me off her list but she refused, saying she could not do that. I asked to speak to her supervisor but she hung up. I tried to phone the number back but got the recorded message "there is a fault."

I have reported this company to the ICO twice today. I have told them that I am with the TPS and not to phone me, but they persist. I asked the woman to remove my number from their list, but she said no, she was not allowed to but would keep phoning. This is criminal harassment. The pest called herself Carly. I have only answered the number because it is a local one from our local exchange, thinking it was a genuine call.

Sick fed up with calls from this company. No matter how many times you tell themyour not Interested they keep on calling.

Sick of theese people calling my phone they are a pain in the a**e. How do they manage to get your number when youe ex directory.

I can vouch for this phone, as I bought it because these type of calls were doing my nut in. I now live in quiet bliss. Well worth the initial outlay

This number has been calling me at least once daily for the past week or so. Silent when I answer. I have reported them to Ofcom.

call from 01698 313 077.  This number calls us almost every day sometimes more than once.  They never leave a message or even answer if I answer.  It is extremely annoying.

Got a call today from this number. They asked for me by name & when I asked where they got my number from, she replied "the national database". I asked what that was & told her my number was ex-directory. She said she didn't actually dial my number but that it "popped" up on her screen. I told her to remove my number from her database & to never call me again as I wasn't interested in whatever it was she was selling.

claimed to be from Heath Source UK and when I mentioned TPS he said that was only for sales calls not for marketing calls. I told him as a marketing graduate I could in no uncertain terms decide this was NOT a marketing call!

I got a call this morning from that number.  When I said I was a member of TPS, she informed me that TPS bar marketing and sales calls, but not market research calls...........  Complaint submitted to TPS.

I also have the BT8500 and its magic, never had a a call come through yet.  I do see calls have tried on the handset, but never get through.  The BT8500 is worth every penny, would also recommend it.
