This is not our company. We do not operate any outbound or cold calling departments. We also had a company called FEP heatcare contacting us today saying that they had complaints of similar nuisance calls and this was coming back to my company when checked on a website called whocallsme.com.

We need to get to the bottom of what is happening and who is hiding behind our company name and also by my discussions today under FEP heatcares name. We believe that whoever is doing this either does not want to give the real name of their operation or they are deliberately trying to sabotage our company and also FEP heatcare.

A full investigation will be started tomorrow to find out exactly who is behind this.

HHH, Sweeney's Gym mentioned by me on 8 April https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/01412800036/2 took it's name from the Paisley boxer called Norrie Sweeney. There is no connection to Stephen Sweeney.

Just received a call asking for me by name - without confirming my name I asked who was calling. The Response was, "This is Lynne, calling about your heating system".  When I asked, "What does this have to do with you?", reply was "Oh nothing to do with me", followed by something which I was unable to understand.  So, I then asked her to clarify what it was that she was calling about, and her answer this time was, "About your boiler" - so I enquired again what this had to do with her, and she again stated that it was nothing to do with her!  At this point I said, "Ok, well goodbye then" and hung up.
Her side of the conversation maybe indicates that they are now being more cautious about using a misleading company name, or any company name at all!

I have been registered with BT for caller preference, but they still managed to call.  I now don't speak when I answer the phone, if the caller knows me they will say my name.  Otherwise they will have had a wasted call.

Called themselves Energy Resource UK today, and said that their address was at Eurocentral, North Lanarkshire. No surprises that none of the trading names they use will show up in Google. Wasted a few minutes by reporting them to TPS — the quango should do something for the money with which we subsidize it.

This firm has called twice, Monday andTuesday, won't leave a message on answer machine, when I tried to call back was infirmed "wrong number"

Glasgow IS IN Lanarkshire

He was just trying to be helpful and was correct in responding that 01698 was the Motherwell STD code as opposed to the 0141 STD.
But that is of no significance other than the fact that the nuisance caller wants to give the impression of a Motherwell location. I've had a USA number for north american customers but have never set foot there.

This 01698 number forwards to any phone and you have less info to go on than when a traveller comes round your neighbourhood in an unmarked van. You can't check if the person you speak to is competent to carry out the gas installation work they are chasing.

I called back and just got silence

I am a disabled senior citizen who is being pestered by this Scottish Energy Cooperative   They have at least twice left messages  & called numerous times at least twice already today.  Rushing to answer the phone is very dangerous for me

Based on the feedback from other reverse directories, I am sure this and the numbers below are likely to be the same bam in Paisley. He's up before the magistrates this Friday and next Monday on criminal charges and dissolved his company 3 weeks ago.

called hung up on answer

Called today - guy with a Glasgow accent said he was from Energy Resource UK.  Told him I was on the TPS and hung up.

Please stop whinging about these companies, buy a BT8500 phone and block all these nuisance callers. I bought 3 months ago and bliss, No nuisance callers since, disadvantage is if you expect a call from official body they will not get through if you have number witheld blocked but you set up phone to suit your needs.

I informed GP and others who use "Withheld" numbers that my 'phone did not accept those calls and they have a note on my files that they must use a number.  So far it has worked and I agre with you about the BT8500. Have had the 'phone for alost a month and it has blocked over 50 calls.  Bliss.

constant calls from this mob TPS worse than useless ,thought recent  legislation passed would sort these pests out [FAT CHANCE]
