Calls then hangs up when I answer

Received yet another call from this company at 08.00am waking my new baby again. This has been going on for months but they always ask for a females name who doesn't live here, I presume this is just to get you talking to them, well not this morning he felt the sharp end of my tounge and I took army frustrations out on him! This has to stop it's driving me mad and walking my family at stupid hours.

Just had a second call from this number. 8.45am some guy called tom asked to speak with miss ******* I asked what company he was calling from, he tried to tell me he could not disclose that info unless he was speaking with miss ******* as it concerns a personal matter. I apologised and told him I could not disclose whether or not he was speaking to the right person, with a thank you and goodbye! will be blocking their number now I have seen all these comments

I asked his name and he said 'James'

I get phone calls from this number 3 or 4 times a day, usually start around 8.03am and go on until 11.30am.
They ask for my ex-husband relating to something at my old address.  I constantly tell them this is not his number and have asked them to update their system - which they tell me they have.  This has been going on now for about 8-9 months.
I have told them I will report them to the Police for harassment and I am going to do it this time because it's getting damned annoying.  I have also given them the name of my solicitor and told them to speak to them as I am not prepared to speak to them anymore.  They refused to give me their company name, so I could pass their information to my solicitor, but they refused as I am not the person on the account!  I understand data protection and all that, but surely it's doing them a favour (if they are legal)?!
Next time they phone I think I'm just gonna give them the telephone number of my solicitor - they'll then hopefully get the message!
I understand this company is called Rossdale Colletions.  I am not in debt, nor owe anyone any money, so.

Called at 08-00 today asking for someone called Alan.I informed them no-one of that name lived here and as far as I know has never lived here.He asked for my details which I refused to give.He then asked if this was a certain address to which I said No.Please be careful NOT to give this company ANY of your details.Im now going to block this no from contacting me

Hi there, I am receiving those phone calls as well.
I spotted that they had too many correct informations about me so I called HMRC (Tax Credits) and they told me that they gave my details to debt collection agency by mistake. It looks like HMRC computer system is sending details whenever it decides to do that. I am wondering if it is legal at all? What about data protection?

i have been getting cals from this number for a while, silence then a recorded message, they dont mention my name which is very suspicious and if i dont answer they leave a message, these companies that leave these messages should be banned

Get calls asking me to call back as it is a very important message they have and they need me to call urgently. Caller states his own name but does not identify the company he is working for at all.  

Bloke called Sam called , wouldn't tell me who his company was or anything but wanted me to tell him everything about me. Stupid man.

This needs to be stopped !!!

Oh he also goes by the name James.
I've been calling him back for the last hour. Been quite amazing how many accidents I can do ;) advise others to do the same

I receive phone calls every day from 'Rossendales collect' asking to call them back on this number (01706833772) Grrrr. How do I stop it?

Had a phone call today from these people giving me a personal ref number to contact them with. Will not return the call thanks for the warning.

  I received a voice mail on my mobile from a woman telling me to call that number. Which I did later when
  a man answered, I asked him what sort of company was it and how did they get my mobile number.  He
  asked me for my mobile number so he could look up on the screen and he would be able to tell me. Why
  did my mobile not ring also went on straight to voice mail.  I said could you not tell me who you are looking
  for and I could confirm if I was that person.  As far as I am concerned I do not owe any money to anyone!

Silent call with option to redial probably at high rate

This number has rang my home twice now and each time has asked for my dad to call them back but they refuse to tell me who they are! I've now told them that unless we know who is calling they are not going to recieve a call back and they still won't tell me who they are. I've searched the number and found this site - should I report them??

Yeh they are only nice if you particpate with them, and offer them payment!!!
