Silent calls from this number; very scary for my 90 year old mother.

Repeadely asking for Mr O'Connor

didn't get to the call but also no message.

Called me repeatedly for a business that used to me on my recently connected number.  Told them 3 weeks ago it was residential, told them last week it was residential.  Today they phoned and told them again and told them to take me off the list.  They claim the number is correct and want to speak to Mr Prior.  I asked for her team leader which she refused.

I put the phone down, called them back and asked for the department that called me and to speak to a supervisor.  They kept asking me for my case reference.  I told them I didn't have one and explained the situation and they asked for my number.  They claim that my number isn't on their database and never has been, so i've asked them why they keep calling and are rude on the phone.  They couldn't answer that, so I told them to "f**k off and stop harrassing me".  Their line claims that all calls are recorded.  Good I hope they are

didn't get to the phone, but no message left either. am getting annoyed now, wondering how to block the number.

Been receiving a lot of missed calls, and even a few voicemails asking for someone by a different name to call him back "as a matter of urgency". Rang back and left a message stating that I had no knowledge of any person by that name.

Rang this 'Rosendales' and spoke to a polite woman, she said she the file was for a different name, stated that there was no one by that name and that they would update the file...

Silent calls usually around 8.30 am

If you have a run-in with this or any other bailiff firm, go to the Bailiff Section on the Consumer Action Group website.  They'll tell you about laws the firms themselves are supposed to follow and often ignore.

Keep getting these silent calls nothing to do with me can I take action against this company?

Numerous calls at any time of the day.they wont say who they are & there asking for someone who don't live here any more if you ask who's calling you get a reply like
"tell her its Brenda she'll know who it is"
Doh she don't live here any more AND hasn't done for years plz listen

These people call every few months, usually asking for someone i've never heard of, and they always say that my phone number will be removed from the system...

caller lucy , refused to give company , said it was a private call

just had a call off thease ppl, ask for me by name, but wont say where there from so told the woman if she wasnt gonna tell me where she was from then not to bother calling again

They keep calling me, and sending me letters saying that I owe money for benefits, which I don't, so plan to go down and see the housing benefits about this, as they repeatedly call, and send out letters, threatening to take me to court.

Repeated silent calls phoned today and asked for me,telling the person who answered the phone,it was Lisa and l will know who she is, when l tried phoning back,she was to busy and on the phone, l phoned twice got the same answer,so couldn't be that important,did not get anyone phoning me back,don't know a Lisa who ever she is ,thank god for this site as l am not giving any information out 2 them,Keep the comments coming as we don't want con companies ripping us off ..Does anyone know what we can do about this company?

I got a call from this number and they told me they were from Manchester City Council and wanted me to confirm my address details "because of the Data Protection act"

The Act was set up surely to protect people from these shysters?

What can I do to stop their harassment? They are now calling every day.

since recieving this phone number by provider have recieved numerous calls from this number (debt collecting agency)  asking to speak to the previous owner of this number  they will not give up  and now are resorting to silent calls at all times of the day and night

called me dozens of times over the last months asking for people who do not live here, will not listen, asked them to stop harassing me dozens of times, they dont listen and just call back a few minutes later with silent calls, usually around 5 a day
this company must be breaking the law.
