text message came up unknown and I must contact RL no idea who or why

Got a message today 13/01/2016 " ....... Name.....please call RL on 01706833772 in relation to your account reference. Thank you " .   Didn't called back yet and I started checking first the  number and luckily I did as I just read it's just waste of my time and harassment , thanks guys.

Txt from 01706 833772      I started with my full name; Forename, middlename, surname....and went on please contact RL reference your account number.         It is so horrible to know that anyone can get all of our name details and mobile phone details and harrass us in this way.  Hanging is to good for them...the misery they cause those who get taken in, and the families of those who then have to support the vulnerable,  Despicable, loathsome, low life.......AAAArrrrggghhhhhhh !

If you check out the number you will see it is for Rossendales Collections, a debt collection company which mainly deal with Council rent/tax arrears.  If they have your full name and address it is probably because the people who are chasing the debt have given it ot them.

Lol, I left my phone at home whilst I was at school, I came back and received a missed call, I asked my mum if you know this number whilst I searched up this number. Lucky enough, I wasn't the only one! Never called back, and I thought it was one of my friends who wanted my number.

received 2 calls just recorded message  as I don't have debt don't no why or who they are   no number  on 1471  they are a pain

Had 3 calls from this number so far, when you answer the phone, the phone at the other end just gets put down. Shacks says they collect council Rent / Tax arrears, only problem is: I've never had a council house & don't owe anybody money.

Just had another call, same thing phone slammed down the other end.
If they think silent calls or bully boy tactics will work on me, they really need to pick they're targets a bit better.

Had 2 calls from these idiots again this week, on the 1st they actually spoke & asked for someone who's never lived in this house, they said our number would be removed from their system. Then yesterday we get another silent call from them.
If this is a professional firm, God help us.

Wouldn't say who they where just that it's a private matter had 12 calls in last 2 days from this number

Keeps asking for previous occupant

This number has been calling me everyday for the past 2 week I've got about 12 voicemails of them

Won't say who they are or just click call off when it's answered. Sinister. Threatening.

I answered the woman asked me if she was speaking with Louise Gomm I said yes I asked her what it was regarding and she wouldn't say unless I gave her more details first so I hung up.

Keep phoning mobile number saying they have a urgent message for someone I've never heard of, phone the number won't even tell me the name of the company, data protection they say (that old chestnut) very suspicious of them, gave them no information all, they say have put the mobile number on the do not phone list (this is the second time I have this conversation) you get the impression it is just a pre-amble to some scam.

I have been called from this number the last 2months!MANY times. I blocked the number because I thought that it was a spam and they left me over 20 voice mails. Today they called me and left voice mail again twice! This is annoying and irritating..

Rossendale collections, nasty people who keep harassing an elderly lady in her 80's, these people should be jailed for harassment. This is due to an old credit card that her son held but did not pay, he now lives in another country but they ignore that fact and continue to harass this old lady, disgusting behaviour.
