also, having just read some of the comments above, the easiest way to stop being called is to say your contract has just been renewed.
DO NOT get [***] with the person on the phone cuz theyre more likely to put your status to 'repeated call back' not 'upgraded data' just to annoy you further, its really very simple, dont be rude, otherwise your actually likely to get more calls!
and the reason networks sell your data is cuz they can make more money from selling it than keeping it sometimes.
phones4u used to buy data all the time from one company then try and move them to another operator, as does dial a phone, and carphone warehouse, and these guys.

keep getting calls from this number and the other numbers that splash uses. I wait for them to speak (the few times they dont hang up) and answer them with "hello this is splash mobile I'm calling about ur phone contract"
makes me laugh especially when they get frustrated and put the phone down.
Another one is to play really loud annoying noises down the phone to them.
If they arent going to stop I'll have my fun with them.

Teling them to remove your number/your contract isnt up for renewal and even barring them (my reject list has 3 of their alter numbers on it already) doesnt seem to work on this company sadly.

best bet don't answer calls to 01792 numbers as I've now answered one call at least from each of these numbers.

They dont leave messages, because they want you to call them back! And if you knew who they were, you wouldnt call them back.

Things to do, most mobile phones let you create user groups, ie friends, family, work and so. Creat one call SPAM IGNORE or just Ignore. Then if your phone allows you assign a silent ringtone to this group. If not get someone you know to put an MP3 file with no sound and then assign it to this group.

This way anytime you get any calls you dont know, you can simply add them to this user group and you wont hear annoying unwanted phone calls. And the best thing is, if you keep adding these numbers to this group, when they ring you know who it is, so do as I do. If im busy I ignore them, if I am not busy I simply answer the call, and put it on speaker phone and DONT SAY A WORD.

Eventually they hang up, and the more we all do this the more it costs them !

Put the number in your phone books under something you'll see, and every time it pops up answer it With something that sounds like a call center offering a mobile phone deal

Would help if there wasn't about a hundred sites actually selling Swansea based phones numbers you can use anywhere in the country. If the place wasn't so unpleasant in the first place they might have enough people in the area to fill the numbers naturally.

Been receiving calls from these idiots for about a month now, sometimes I speak to someone and other times they just hang up - it bugs the life outta me! I was once offered a FREE  Nokia N96 but the delivery would be £200!? Says it all really! I have recently been into Carphone Warehouse and asked what its all about and a guy told me they only get O2 numbers but he has no idea why. O2 should let you bar numbers like this, its a joke!

Operator said 'i haven't told you what i'm calling about so how can you be 'not interested'? That doesn't make sense to me'
I said 'I can be, and I'm not' to which the operator replied: 'whatever' and hung up.

Unfortunately this company still exists and I was dumb enough to answer after numerous missed calls (Jan 2009) I niavely assumed it was someone who I wanted to speak to... My advice is DON'T bother answering!

They keep calling my work mobile, paid for by the company! I've informed the morons that I'm therefore unable to take up any of their supposedly fantastic offers even if I wanted to, but they still can't get it through their thick skulls!

They called me yesterday but I missed the call - when I looked up the number I found this forum and the feedback.  

They just called me again, so I told them my contract wasn't up for another 18 months - she couldn't get off the phone quick enough.

The fact is that they already have my number so no amount of ignoring / arguing is going to get them to stop / delete it (perhaps the opposite), so I may be postponing another annoying call but at least it's stopped.

I just got a call from this number! Wowo theyve been pestering so many people! It should be illegal for them to do this!

Fuc*ing [***] company!!! called me during my geography lesson and as we had no teacher I answered and I declined their offer, I am badgered by they're calls up to 14 times a day ! It has been 1 month now and I have not found a way to stop it !

How long can companies go on harassing non-customers using a single number?
They should be shut down for this type of harassment.
