Oxford Sunergy is a firm offering socially responsible green investments such as forestry, farmland, renewable energy and carbon credits. - Jamie Willowdont know what to make of it but sounds interesting.
- Jamie willowSince a few decades back, governments, businesses, households and individuals are all trying to minimize their negative impact on the environment. In recent years, governments have started to create schemes for companies and individuals to invest in "carbon offsetting", allowing them to buy carbon credits or to invest in carbon offsetting projects. Because these schemes are still new, there are still some uncertainties surrounding them, raising the threshold for these investors.
Oxford Sunergy provides a range of information services for both companies and individuals, aimed exactly at eliminating these uncertainties and insecurities. We aim to raise the familiarity levels with carbon offsetting investment in order for everyone to be able to make informed decisions. We provide alternative investments in different sectors: he following alternative investments to individual investors, the majority of which qualify under British SIPP Investments regulations: Timber Investments, Farmland Investments, Renewable Energy Investments, Carbon Investments, making us well placed to help you choose the carbon credit products best suited to your needs and situation. For this, we work directly with project developers and wholesalers.
There are different types of carbon credits, all certified in accordance with different standards, because there is no single global verification mechanism, which can be confusing for those wanting to participate. Oxford Sunergy aimes to assist you by giving information and guidance as to which type of carbon credit investment suits which purpose best. - Jamie Willow| 1 replyIt sounds interesting but just not sure if the whole carbon credit thing is actualy happening?? i spoke to someone from there and it all sounds really interesting
- Dusty replies to Jamie Willowcarbon credits are def happening you just have to be carefull who you are dealing through a few good points to stick to are:
1, make sure you are dealing through a registerd company i.e check companys house etc
2, make sure you are buying into a verified project
3, never transfer your money out of the uk as the uk has banking laws to protect you whereas if you transfer to spain etc you will be doin so at your own risk.
If you stick by these you cant really go wrong just make sure you check these details before investing. - Dusty| 1 replycarbon credits are a very good and safe investment at the moment you do have to make sure you are dealing with a bonified company and also that you know how you will sell the credits if you have these areas covered you can make nice returns from these investments the carbon market is filled with projects that are not very good though so make sure the company you are using knows the differance between a good project and a bad one .

- ej| 1 replyHarassed by a persistent caller from Sunergy despite having Telephone Preference Service. There was desperate interference on the line so difficulty making out what was said and caller wouldn't understand that we were NOT interested. We already had several other earlier cold calls this morning so were not happy.
