I too got a call from Christopher James today.  Promised he would be able to update me again next week, not sure where we are all going with this or the best way to try and recover funds other than telling them to trade out for you and keeping fingers crossed.

Can I refer you to your posts of 30th July, "I see no reason to doubt them" and 22nd August, "who says they have to be registered with the FSA". This together with saying how successful your trades had been. Your only concern was the gap between them being registered and beginning trading.  There are no further posts from you until the one I am now replying to.  No mention of visiting their office, raising a CRN number, unless, of course you are using another alias on here. If you have used another alias then you cannot expect people to be psychic.  I did not fall for the patter and, as I have read today that three of these "carbon credit" frauds in London have been shut down and the people running them arrested, I would seem to have been proved right.

some one maybe Gary! replies to Nan
NAN you short sighted by-standing buffoon.
30th July was a long time ago.
I was doing my own investigations to determine if there was anything untoward, after all we're not talking pound n pence here.

You may recall no one at the time was actually trading with them, but simply posting information , some of which is not relevant. This type of company DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REGISTERED with the FSA. But this is totally irrelevant at this moment in time.
Like others who were initially investing trading was going well, SO WHY SHOULD there be negative news , others were simply seeking info from people involved at the time.

YOU ARE NOTHING BUT AN APPARENT OBSERVER IN THIS WHOLE AFFAIR.
UNLESS YOU HAVE CONSTRUCTIVE INFORMATION, PLEASE GO AND FIND A LIFE.
Say Why not be constructive and post the link that you read. it could be useful.

I'M SO GLAD YOU FEEL THE NEED TO GLOAT TO ALL HERE THAT YOU WERE RIGHT!
I'M SURE IT MAKES EVERY ONE ELSE HERE, HAVE UNFORTUNATELY BEEN CAUGHT UP IN THIS VERY DISTRESSING AFFAIR, FEEL VERY PROUD OF YOU. MORON.

30.7.2012 "I have just traded with them and made 18% in 8 days.
22.8.2012 " I have made my second trade today and made 18"
Your words.  Were you lying?  If so why?
If you were the first to visit their office and the first to get a CRN number, where is it posted on here?
Before you start hurling abuse perhaps you would like to explain why you made the positive posts when you had not traded.
The item regarding the closing down of three "carbon credit" trading companies was in the Daily Mirror yesterday on the Penman and Summerlad investiagtion page.

I also had a call from "Christopher James" yesterday, unfortunately I have to work hard for the money that they so easily took away and was unable to answer. He left a message, sounded a little flustered actually which pleased me somewhat, saying that unfortunately they have no news for me yet but they should have next week and he would be calling me on Monday or Tuesday. I was gutted I missed the call, would've loved to have grilled him and got him to provide some reason to make me believe he wasn't a fraud. I tried calling back, it's the same number you all have for CJ (and now Gareth Jones it seems?!) but it just kept ringing and ringing. Makes a change from that stupid answerphone message I guess. I just hope that with the other fraudsters being taken down and the police on to them already, somehow they manage to get our money back. OSL might even give it back to avoid prison you never know. It's a bit frustrating to know they are still there using that phone number and haven't fleed the country or the area yet, but the police can't find the time to go and investigate. Is it worth contacting the Oxford Police? Probably a bit beyond local police but maybe they could send somebody round?

I too got a call from CJ. He blamed his assistant for all the problems, apparently he should have been keeping everyone informed. He said that a buyer had pulled out & he had to fly to Zurich but that he is now hoping that the trade will be completed on Wednesday. He said that he would completely understand if I didn't want to trade with him again but hoped that once I had received the funds from another successful trade I might change my mind.
What I don't understand is why get back in touch if this is a fraud? Barclays confirmed there was nothing in the account I paid into & nothing in associated accounts so its not like they have come back & need time to clear out the accounts.
I don't know what to make of it, one thing is for sure there doesn't seem to much urgency from the police.
I guess we'll have to sit tight & hope.
I will visit the offices next week when I know they are there.

You are right Mark it is very strange that if the money has already gone that they would need more time.
I guess if they had used all the money as promised to buy carbon credits then there wouldn't be any money left in the accounts. At least that is the excuse they will use. There is no way I would believe this excuse unless they could provide evidence that I actually have carbon credits registered in my name. I assume nobody has had this?
I suppose this Gareth Jones is meant to be CJ's assistant then?? If this really is a legit company (in which I have no belief remaining) they are the biggest shower of s*** I have ever come across and have no hope of "becoming a household name" as James Stroud once told me.

i've taken my MP richard fuller on board and i suggest you all do the same and let me know their names so all these MPs can present a motion in house of commons and we have debate on the carbon markets issue and possible questioning of police and FSA.

Have looked through all email's from OSL, various IP's on all.

X-Originating-IP: [78.135.60.182] is near the bottom on all, any ideas where they originate from.

Only one X-Originating-IP on each email, none of the IP's from the top match [78.135.60.30]

Bingo, as they say and well suited in this instance,

Same players, same MO and same origination.

These are really nasty people. Drugs and prostitution with a big heap of violence are their game.

Well known to the police so why they are not arresting the soldiers is beyond me. Hanging out for the big guys at our expense.

Any suggestions about how we can warn others beyond this blog.?

When i requested detailed information regarding how i obtained evidence of proof of purchase for the carbon credits they refered me to the VCS website and said i would need to contact the project owner of the carbon project and give my name!!!
THis together with other oddities made me get out as soon as i could.

But it doesn't seems so clear cut, i fully appreciate that whilst not being professional there is enough collaboration to make you wonder why they are still communicating, or paying up , as in the case with me.

It was the sheer number of significant oddities that resulted in me not wanting to risk significant sums.

I mean the three tired investment would have you making 21% over three stages resulting in a whopping return of ~78% when compounded over no more than between 60 - 120 days max. Really.

Has anyone had the first stage complete yet, As this should be due soon for some that entered it in late August as i nearly did.
