- Pete replies to AlanChecked all my e-mails and they have all come from 78.135.60.182
- Pete| 2 repliesDid anyone get a call today or yesterday with an update as we were told last week?
- Alan replies to Pete| 1 replySaw your post yesterday, the same X-originating-IP, as I assume they will all be.
No call here, spoke to Gareth on Friday, sounded like Chris to me, said he would have a new buyer within 10-15 working days as the previous buyer of trade 2 backed out.
Claims that OSL had to bank roll trade 3, the 3 part trade, because the previous buyer backed out, which could explain no money in their Barclays account, and no profit in my account, because they have none.
Not convinced myself, will give Chris a call on the Friday12th.
Don't know what else to do. - N NYeah no call for me either. Christ I could really do with having that money back. Unbelievably bad timing.
Not sure what else we can do except hassle people for action/updates. Frustrating that nobody seems that bothered about helping. The guy who registered the fraud seemed concerned enough but he is only taking the details, not acting on them. This problem will only get worse as long as this country is so pitifully soft on criminals. A stretch in prison would be so much easier than my life right now! Sorry for the unhelpful post - Two threads Oxford Sunergy / Veroscam replies to AlanIt appears that there are multiple conversations on the thread for oxford sunergy as well as vero scam
Should these not be split as it is getting confusing who is talking about what?
At least make it clear at the top of your replies. I.E Oxford Sunergy / Vero
Thanks - Mark C| 2 repliesPretty sure this won't come as a surprise but they did not call me today about the completion of the trade as promised, there's a shock!!!
Spoke to Regus receptionist, who has been very helpful, & she has seen them for some time but did say that some had noticed that some one had been in their office after hours as things had been moved or removed. Her manager had told her that they were due to take over the office from the 1st Oct but that he was now having problems getting through to Julie, who's mobile just goes to answer phone.
My guess is that they have gone!! Well done the authorities for acting so quickly, if this is the norm no wonder they keep getting away with it.
May be we should get together as a group & hire a PI, it would be good to have the satisfaction of some revenge even if its just to foil the next scam.- Caller: OSL
- Paul replies to Mark C| 1 replyBeen ripped off by these merchants figured out there ip mapping is coming from cyprus btw
- CodedWhirr| 15 repliesGood evening all. Same story as extensively described by others in this thread. "Recommended" by Knowledge to Action, aggressive cold-calling, successful first trade with 18% profit in July, promises of guaranteed profits of 18-22% every 30-60 day by a guy calling himself Lucas Goodchild etc etc. My second instalment of substantially more seems to have vanished and I haven't heard from Mr Goodchild since 31/8, when he promised to get me out of the market the following week. The last time I spoke to him, he bragged that this deal was worth £ 1.5 million. Since than silence, unanswered emails and phone calls. This is what I think: Our money is gone. No regular company acts like this. There are too many things now not adding up. I’m gutted I didn’t see it at the start, despite a gut feeling. I have reported to the Fraud Action website and raised a CRN. They and the police clearly state that they cannot follow every individual case and they cannot help recovering our assets. There is hope though: no phantom person can register a UK company and have a UK bank account. These are not some third-world gangsters, they all sounded like well-spoken Englishmen. Also, money can't disappear. It can only be transferred and spent. Here is my idea: Let's move out of this blog and form a secure Facebook group or exchange email addresses. We can't have these discussions in the public domain without "them" watching and knowing what we are up to. We should meet. We should also browse through similar blogs to find other victims. Question is, how do we identify ourselves to each other without OSL sending a mole? We should than think about group action, i.e. hiring a solicitor who specialises in investment fraud. As this was an unauthorised Collective Investment Scheme (CIS), we can act as a group against them as a group and sue them in a civil court. Sod the police, always follow the money. If everyone chips in, the cost for legal representation should become bearable. After all, the Ku Klux Klan and the Catholic Church in the States (nearly) were not brought down by criminal prosecution for multiple murder and systemic child abuse, respectively. They were brought down by bankruptcy following civil law suites. Let's not worry about Northern Cyprus. There is the European Arrest Warrant. Of course they can hide their forever and spend our money, but they might think twice when they are served with the legal papers. The FSA also wrote to me the following:
"We do not regulate the sale or trading of carbon credits. But we do regulate collective investment schemes (CIS) and certain types of exchange contracts (often called ‘futures’), and a firm must be authorised by us to promote or operate them in the UK.
"We can only take action over a carbon credit trading scheme when it is being promoted or operated as a CIS or futures contract, without our authorisation.
"The scheme may be a CIS where:
* investors do not have day-to-day control over managing the property that is generating the credits (such as a plot of forest or solar panels);
* the scheme involves pooling investor funds; and
* the operator is responsible for managing the scheme as a whole.
"The FSA is interested in receiving information from consumers, both in the UK and overseas, that have been approached by these firms. We are pleased to receive any paperwork or documents from consumers, so that we can establish whether the firms are operating Collective Investment Schemes (CISs). The more information we have, the better our chances of assessing whether the company is operating a scheme for which they need to be authorised by us. However, I am unable to provide you with any information which may have been passed to us on a firm as this is required to remain confidential until the FSA decides to release this.
"If this investment is a CIS, the firms that operate these should be authorised by the FSA. If you deal with a firm that is not authorised by the FSA then you have no consumer protection should things go wrong, and you may risk losing all of your investment. However, if you have agreed to take part in a collective investment scheme run by an unauthorised person, you may have a statutory right to recover your money and compensation for any consequent losses. This is because agreements which an unauthorised person enters into while operating, advising on or arranging a collective investment scheme cannot necessarily be enforced.
Read the last bit again! They are a CIS and not authorised by the FSA! We have to explore this. It says to me that there is a way to seize their assets, if they can be identified. And this is where we should start: find out who these people are, where they live, what cars they drive, where their kids go to school... Let's google them, facebook, other networks, electoral roll etc. Real people have digital footprints. Any more ideas? Let's stay in touch! - Pete replies to CodedWhirrOSL
Good work CodedWhirr.
From what you say and my experience I would agree that this was operating as an unlicensed CIS. I believe that we should all escallate this and report our own cases to the FSA. - Alan replies to CodedWhirr| 8 repliesVery interesting, but what is this "find out who these people are, where they live, what cars they drive, where their kids go to school" (quoted exactly, copy and paste a wonderful tool) this has nothing to with their kids, or are you planning to kidnap them? All you are going to achieve is to heap a load of trouble on us all, they know where we live, I'm sure they can cause us more problems than we can cause them.
It's about time you realise we have lost our money, they exploited our greed.
I have lost faith in the media, police, no one seems to be interested, it's time to move on we have all been extremely stupid.
I would imagine that we have all worked with people that we believe to be complete [***], but the biggest [***] any of us will ever see is the person that stairs back from the mirror we look at.
If Christopher James or Gareth Jones is reading this or any one from OSL, I would like to have my money back, not bothered about the profit, my name is Alan, I'm in this with my partner we live in Hampshire.
We had a conversation with Gareth just over a week ago he was not happy about threats in an email, he will know who we are, so please Beg Beg I'm on my knees please put my money back in my account.
This will be my last post, do not like "Coded Whirr" he seems like a dangerous person, any one who gets involved with him will end up with more problems, I will have nothing to do with him.
To all my fellow [***] good bye. - CodedWhirr replies to Alan| 7 repliesDon't worry Alan, I'm not threatening anyone. I'm just thinking these people should be shown that they can't hide and that there are ways to track them down. I'm not begging or pleading to them, I'm DEMANDING they return my money. Once I know who they are and I have an Arrest Warrant, I'll serve them with a writ to get my money back. They better f**k of to North Korea or Iran, because any country in Europe is likely to seize their assets once they are convicted of serious fraud or don't show up for trial. Unautherised CIS are illegal, as is stealing tens of thousends of pounds from decent, hard-working people. I don't apologise for any greed, I invested in carbon credits and the green industry. How more ethical can you be? These people are not only thugs who lie and steel, they also damage the reputation of ethical investmen, Carbon Credits and the Kyoto Protocol.
- RedMac replies to CodedWhirr| 6 repliesOn the basis that these posts are being monitored I am responding under a different ID. I have been involved for some time & have lost a great deal of money which I would like an opportunity to get back. I have been doing some investigation & have some interesting findings which I'm not sure how to follow up. How do you suggest we make contact with each other.
- Pete replies to RedMac| 5 repliesI have been trying to think of a way we can all pool resources and contact each other safely. To date i have not come up with a method but how about if we all contact each other initially through skype like we did with K2A, either that or we need to move onto a secure forum site or set up our own. Any ideas?
- previous investor replies to Pete| 4 repliesWhat i don't understand is why they gave me my money back!!1 i mean if they are crooks why have some moral conscience!! i really feel for you all
AKA getting in contact. Given they have our addresses setting up a skype account and posting it here for others to contact and be introduced to others via this hub is a no brainer, i mean what else are you divulging.
happy to help
I've set an email and and skype account.

Speak soon - Bee Gee replies to previous investor| 1 replyI have informed K2A that our details have been passed on and been used in a fraud. Louis from K2A said that he would let his bosses know and update me with any news.
Would there be any mileage from us involving K2A as we believe they got our details from them, at least they would be able to see who enrolled with them. I presume that Oxford Sunergy scammers did not go through K2A training so it may be a good way of stopping them from being on any communications we have. - veroscam@btinternet.com replies to Bee GeeSorry that OSL has now disappeared. Good luck to those who managed to get some money back.
For K2A you can tweet Greg Secker @gregsecker
or contact at http://gregsecker.co.uk/contact.php
I have already emailed but no response.
I expect a new setup will contact us again in a few weeks so don't go off one on like I did with OSL but play along and let the rest of us know and post a warning for others on this forum. - Rob replies to AlanI'm in a similar position with Oxford Sunergy -- no answers to my calls or emails. Is this a Boiler room scam, and how do I get my money back?
