    Pete

What are you expecting me to provide? A magic wand!

I was simply trying to help you guys communicate with each other outside of this public forum.
So far only two people have joined, and i have passed on all information provided to all that have connected and answered all questions asked of me..

Clearly my assistance it not worth my time, so happy to remove all information and accounts.
    Just give the nod.

But i don't know how you are intending to obtain communications with each other if you can't trust me.
i'm not bothered either way, as i not got anything to gain or lose.

Your short-sightedness and child-like response does make me laugh out loud.
Pete you asked nothing and gave nothing, So surprise you got NOTHING

Pete rather than rely on others to solve our woes, what ideas do you have?

I understand everyone's concerns and frustration over this situation.
I established veroscam email after being ripped off, to attract similar victims but also to protect myself from an expected attack by the scammers who clearly monitor these posts. I currently have been contacted by 9 other victims of these frauds from 3 companies all sharing the same experience. I have not revealed their identities to anyone else, even each other.
Surprisingly, I have not been attacked (yet) by the scammers. I have responded to Oxfordscam / Previous Investor and am very happy to share with him.
I have pondered the best way for us to contact each other and formulate a plan against the crooks but other than a blog site I have now real ideas.
I have a webite http://www.veroenergy.talktalk.net/ to warn about this type of scam and
I have  now set up a facebook page called Carbonscammed
    (http://www.facebook.com/pages/CarbonScammed/423901124324143 )
if you would like to join me and post your experience.
I know there are many other victims who have posted on WhoCallsMe who are probably concerned about joining us but lets be honest, we are already exposed and the scammers have ALL our sensitive details so an email address is the least of our worries.
I do not expect that I will every see my money again. The police or any other authority are not doing enough (if anything) to bring these people to justice and there is no public sympathy with our stupidit,y to raise this to action. We gave away our money of our own free will to an unregulated 'investment' so no refunds or compensation.
I have tried to track down the particular scammers that got me, without success, partly because of false identities but also the 'data protection act' that banks etc hide behind and will not give us any information. Whether a private investigator or some legal representative could fair any better, I cannot afford to find out.

I am trying my best to warn future victims of this fraud and watching out for the next scam setup to emerge.

I will be happy to join anyone who has any good ideas how to proceed.

Previous Investor, May i apologise for my last post. Somehow my emal was not showing your email to me which i have now seen just this morning and i take back any suggestions that i made in my last post.

I hope no hard feelings as we are all looking for the same thing and having to be careful and probably getting to a point of not trusting anyone.

    Hi everyone,

Good to see that you are all still active here and hungry to find a solution. I will contact you guys who have set up email / facebook / skype accounts to communicate. My dedicated email is fuckoxfordsunergy@hmamail.com . You are all welcome to write, including OSL moles. This is a proxied email address where my real identity cannot be extracted. However, in whichever way we choose to communicate, there is no way that we can protect ourselves against OSL listening in. I don't think that K2A will give us access to their participant database: "data protection". We could use the CRN's which we hopefully all have - assuming that OSL haven't reported themselves to the police or to Action Fraud. There would have to be a deadline (of yesterday), to prevent them from getting a CRN now to join. In some way, I think it doesn't really matter. I'm not scared of them. These thugs are cowards and they probably don't dare to threaten us, as it would risk putting the police on their tracks. Yes, they could try identity fraud but they can do that anyway. We have to be vigilant with unexplained account movements and things happening in our names. The only real problem is this: if we meet or pool resources in a class action against the company or their directors, and they listen in, they would know what we are up to and how to prepare.

I raised a question on justanswer.com and the Barrister who replied explained that I can sue the company for fraud, as long as they are still trading (which they are). Once they stop trading, we can sue the directors as individuals. Another way is a criminal conviction for fraud, if the police and CPS do their job. Their assets would than be seized and returned to the victims. I reckon they might co-operate when several years in jail are at stake. I think I'll explore that option, have to see how much it would cost to find a lawyer. As suggested before, there might be a way to reduce cost by bringing this to court as class action. I'll keep you posted.

Previous investor, I think there are at least two possible answers. They definitely have no moral conscience, based on my experience following very personal conversations with OSL staff. They are 100% aware of the impact of their action on me, my family and many others in similar circumstances - because I discussed my concerns with them.
Explanation 1): They were planning to run the scam for another round, hoping you would come back and invest more. At the time they paid you, they were still trying to wear the cloak of legitimacy, to stop you and others to contact the police before they had moved all the money and executed their exit strategy. Or even to lure further victims into investing.
Explanation 2); They are deliberately trying to muddy the waters, to create exactly this impression "Yes, but I DID GET MY MONEY BACK, so they are probably legit." At least for a while. In the early stages of this forum, they just kept people guessing but there was no united front that would have blown their cover. Go back and check it out!

Hi CodedWhirr I agree that the sooner we act the more of getting some result & help from the Media / Watchdog & the police fraud squod must be informed the sooner the better.
The only real way is to hold an open meeting for scammed menber & then to create an register of names, email address, possably moble number & the amount of money they have been scammed by OCL.
There is alot of other information required.
This register can be kept by a Scam Action Commitee, possably consisting of 5 local people.
They can contact all the menber of actions, meeting, results etc.
This is hard to swallow it's going to cost, alright time some may ba able to give up, then you have meeting venue, stationary etc.
The only real way forward is collectivlely & quickly, action speek louder than word.

You appear to have arrived at the same point as myself and I agree we need to work collectively. The problem is having been conned by these people I'm sure like me it is difficult for any of us to trust anyone.
The only way I can think to progress with some security is that we ask a solicitor to act as a collection point for all those that have been scammed. At least with a solicitor we can confirm their legitimate. If enough are interested then I will make inquires about a solicitor and find out how much it would cost initially to use them as a conduit.
In the meantime I have the personal address of a director who resigned July & I propose to write to her requesting information on what she knows & details of the other directors and any other information she can give.
I'll let you know how I get on.

    Good evening
Thanks to all of you who have written to me on fuckoxfordsunergy@hmamail.com
    Things are starting to move...

I have contacted a law firm with 15 year expertise in investment fraud. They have confirmed my contact but not yet replied in detail. I'll keep you up to date. I totally agree elford, we need to form a committee and meet. If this is run by someone (semi) professional, they'll keep the muppets out. As I said before, the CRN is the entrance ticket and one would assume that they don't contact the police about their own fraud. If they do, that's called Perverting the Cause of Justice. As soon as they see we mean business, they might even come up with a peace offer or some out-of-court settlement. Guys, I'm getting really excited. We have so much intelligence, you have done a tremendous amount of work already. Especially those of you who kept ringing the people at the business park and even went there. Don't despair! For this type of large scale fraud that surely goes into the millions, jail sentences are in excess of 10 years. We just need to nail them and the more public pressure we can generate, the more likely we are to succeed. Think of Jimmy Saville: none of they girls alone spoke out. Had they known of each other, he would have spent the last 30 years like Gary Glitter today. Let's know of each other! Good bless the internet!

Cool, I agree. We need to remove the element of distrust in each other. This is the downside of one of us collating all the information. How can all the others trust her/him? If it's an independent third party, best a legal professional, we eliminate that risk. According to my info, civil action against OSL would cost me 10K if I loose (or even if I win and there are no assets). That's hefty, although I might still do it. Better to bring class action. Anyone with legal expertise, is that possible in the UK?
