It now seems to be my turn to get these calls.Have recently left eircom must be there way of getting back at me.Glad to hear i'm not the only one getting these calls!!!

same as other comments, always engaged when try to call them back.

Ex Directory and have been getting calls from this number and withheld number also. This is happening twice a day for the last 2 weeks. I am so annoyed as they hang up when I answer............why are they hanging up? I will get Eircom to remove me from their list also. This type of behaviour is despicable and causes undue paranoia. I moved to Vodafone and glad that I am not associated with Eircom due to this unprofessional behaviour.

01 892 0400 is Eircom marketing number. Rang 1800 207 407 and they say will remove our number from list but gave no explanation as to how they got my number which is unlisted and always opt out of any marketing lists etc.

I have got several calls from this number while I was on a business trip. Very suspicious - they started to call when I went to Canada and stopped one day before I came back - I can trace the missed calls and they were calling me every day starting from the day I left my home and till the day before I came back. Is somebody watching my home or what???

2 missed calls from this number last 2 mornings along with at least 6 unknown missed calls over the last few days - any one know this number

After call to Eircom,no more phone calls recieved.

i rang eircoms malicious calls department at 1800200481, the lady was very helpful and told me that
the phone number 018920400, is eircoms number, and possibly from there sales team she also tried dialling it and it was engaged. hope this helps ye all. love from wagawaga...

Keep getting calls from this number 018290400. I'm ex directory and ex directory enquiries. Only a handful of people have my number. Googled 018290400 and found this site, thank God. Called Eircom 1800207407 and asked who was calling, lady said she did not know. She asked me a strange question "Do you want to be taken off OUR dialler list?" Why would she ask me that if she did not know who was calling me? Strange! I asked to be taken off their dialler list anyway. I'm goin to wait and see what happens. If this persists I will report it to the Garda, Com Reg etc. Thanks to everyone on this site for their info, I would have been completely stuck otherwise.

Apologies, my last post should have read 018920400. I was so frustrated that I got the number mixed up.

I too always opt out of the marketing lists and am also ex-directory but I am also an ex Eircom customer, this number seems to call every few weeks for about a week several times a day.
I called 1800207407 and the agent I spoke to seemed to know exactly what I was saying before I got halfway through my "rant" about annoying calls from 018920400 and said that she'll take me/my number off the list!!
thanks to this site and you other annoyed people who keep getting harassed by Eircom, hopefully they'll stop calling at all hours.

01-8920400. i have reason to believe this is an agency who works for vodafone. i had my phone disconnected by vodafone over a disputed bill, and could not make calls in or out. the only number i could dial was 1907, which vodafone laughingly call their helpline. thus. it stands to reason these people work for vodafone if they can get through. my advice is to report it as soon as you can, and have no dealings with vodafone, who are by far the worst mobile operator in Ireland, and that's saying something.

got a call from this number when i tryed to ring back the number was busy tried a few times

Eircom sales trying to get us to come back to them. Have written to them 3 times in the last year asking ot be removed from these lists. Pain in the a55.

I got a call from that number today aswel. i picked it up and there was a buzzing noise and after like 3 or 4 seconds it went off. tried calling it back and no answer.. fair weird .. anyone know who or what it is?

keep getting silent calls from this no.

Just wondering did anyone's computer get hacked days before these calls started. My computer got hacked on Tuesday and between then and today Wednesday I have had 5 calls of this number. They got through once and said it was Eircom, didn't have time to talk so told them to call tomorrow, but seeing this site am now wary. Any advice?
