i cant believe this number has been doing this for so long. i got a call from this number yesterday! i missed the call and thanks to this page, im going to make sure i keep missing it.

When I answered on 3 May 2012 there was a lot of background noise, as if the call was from a pub or other crowded place. I thought it was a nuisance or obscene call so I set my phone handset down and left the caller to chatter away to themselves etc and when I returned after watching a TV programme I found that they had hung up. I've had so-called calls with the number withheld before and since this one.

The call to which I referred in my previous post was 01-892 0400.

Unknown calls. Always busy when I call back.

This number has started up again with me too - plus the withheld numbers (which I never answer).
Around 5 pm today.

Same here today.  Twice.  Bizarre going for so long.

strangely similar to everyone else got a missed call tried to call back engaged for hours !!!!!!

I received a call from 01 8920400 to my Landline which is a undisclosed number.
I answered first time no reply.
Second time I didnt answer.  
Rang number and it's constantly busy.
There was a scam in UK where callers could somehow connect line by calling and can then make calls from the number called.
I would like to enquire has Vodafone safeguards in place to protect against this happening?

Just got a new phone this week and no 1 no's my number but this number keeps ringin me

I have recieved several calls from this no 01 8920400 and im sick of it .I am contacting eircom again tomorrow after seeking legal advice and taking legal action as they have broken a contract preventing this from happening as Im unlisted so therefore they have made my number available to telemarketing under  eircom ...

Got call from this number 01 8920400 noise in background...19.20 13/07/12.  I don't want to receive again.

Have had the same thing with buzz noise! What is going on?

Seen the posts - now I am getting these calls.  If its not this number it scam callers.  Thinking of just disconnecting landline.

Got the call from the num today - try to ring back num busy

I have had 8 calls today from a "blocked" number followed by a call from 018920400. No messages left. If this is an Eircom Sales number I intend to take further action.

I also received a call from 01-892 0400. Thanks to this blog I rang Eircom 1800207407 and asked them to remove my number from their Dialer list. The lady looked up my number, and informed me that I was not a customer of Eircom. This I knew. For it is true. I was once though, some years ago. I informed her that, however, I had taken my meagre custom to a competitor who gave me a better deal. Aaah. She said she'd put a restriction notice through for any marketing spewed out from Eircom.

Got a call from same number last night. I didn't get to phone in time to answer it, and didn't try calling it back. Googled it today to make sure it wasn't work related. Interesting to see how many people have had same call.

Just got a call from 018920400, March 28th, 2013 @14:19 on my mobile.

I was on another call so didn't answer, and won't bother calling back now that I've read this :)

Got call from this number earlier today.
