got this number twice in consecutive days and they just hung up

called by this number offering something to do with a problem on my computer.  On trying to call back had a message that "thios service is no longer available">

Have been getting these cold calls from a variety of numbers over the last few months.   Apart from "unavailable", recent calls have been from 001234567890!!  Eircom's advice is not to take the call but somehow we want to do "battle" with the cheeky brats.   Various videos on YouTube show people stringing out the call for as long as possible.
I've used a different "tack" each time and yesterday assured them that my computer is running very fast, very fast indeed.  
What is unnerving is how they know my first name and surname and have also asked for my husband by name too.  
Some day maybe we'll manage to put an end to it.   Meanwhile, I suspect they'll continue to con some unsuspecting "customers".

Had a call from them today, at about 1pm, kept him talking for 15 mins, persistent beggar.  I asked him how he knew anything about my computer, asked him was he from Microsoft, asked him to cut to the chase and tell me what he was selling, then asked him to explain the whole thing to my husband sitting next to me (who is a computer services engineer of 30 years experience) he had just helped out a neighbour who fell for the scam, they download a virus then tried to charge her a fee to remove it.  They are based in India, I also asked him if he was calling me out of the goodness of his heart from the sub-continent, as he would not admit to selling anything.  Don't be fooled and don't try to call back, that will cost an arm and a leg.
