- D ArmstrongScumbags tried ripping my vulnerable pensioner mother off. They had done their homwork and claimed to put a consultant on the line. She said they were very polite and claimed to know local health centres. This people are professional con men (and women) and their sole aim is to get hold of your credit card details. Fortunately my mother told me within hours and I advised her to get her credit card blocked. They had already taken a payment off £17 but at least they cant take any more. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.
Sincerely hope this is the last post I see on her- Caller: elbon wellbeing

- Sidewinder| 1 replyI was cold-called today by Ebon Wellbeing and following a lengthy attempt to try to sell me Rosehip tablets at £14.99 plus £2 p&p, I informed the seller I never give my card details over the phone to a cold caller. I did however, offer to pay by cheque and got the name and full address of the operation. I then googled the company which led me to this site, and followed Bluebell's advice. May I add that the contact number I was given for the company was 020330023879, not the one mentioned previously.
- Caller: Ebon Wellbeing
- Bluebell replies to SidewinderWell done Sidewinder! I seem to be on a one women mission to stop these people so thank you for reporting them. I did manage to get my money back in the end which is great but I expect it was only because I managed to do so within their 15 day return period.
- ReghI to was conned, but after threatening them with a visit from my ex colleages from the Met Police fraud squad I got my money back. I don't know anyone from the Met, but they obviously did'nt what to take the risk that I did

- SidlawReading through the above messages, I am fortunate. I was 'phoned one Monday, and the man talked for 30 minutes, I said I would think about the Rozart tablets. He 'phoned back on the Friday, and although, knowing I was stupid to give my Card no., I ordered 2 months supply. I tried to 'phone the next day, to cancel the order, but the no, was not recognised, I emailed, it was returned to me. I tried to 'phone using another no. but it was not recognised, so I got in touch with my Bank, and the Card was cancelled. £28 was already out of my account. So again I think I am fortunate that no large sum was taken.

- StreeperWhilst I was at work my 82 year old husband was contacted by Sharon and found out that he was disabled and assumed he had arthritis. She told him about rose hip tablets which could be purchased at £30 per 30 tablets but as he was disabled he could have them for £14.95 - how would you like to pay .... blah blah. Luckily my husband did not give her any details and said he would discuss it with his wife. She said that surely a man of 82 was capable of deciding for himself and didn't he trust her?!! B....y cheek! The product was Rozart and the telephone number was 02030023879 address: 100 Greystoke Lane, Ruislip, Middx.

- Snelly| 1 replyThis company calls themselves Elbon Wellbeing Ltd. They have what looks to be a genuine website yet all contact details are inoperable! They have recently conned my 87 year old Grandmother out of £299.00 yet she only agreed to a 1 month trial @ £12!! Absolutley disgusted! Trying to complain but to who? Anyone can start a Ltd company and are under no obligation to repay monies owed if they wrap it up!! :-o
Not Good! As i keep trying to tell her DO NOT give your card details to anyone over the phone unless you know for 100% that they are genuine!- Caller: Eldon Wellbeing Ltd
- Bluebell replies to SnellyAs I have said before: Report these people to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 if they have conned you. The more complaints the better - they can then pass it on to the police. They are ripping off elderly people and it is disgusting. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP IT IS TO REPORT IT!
- Happy replies to Agitated SamsonI have had no trouble at all with Elbon very polite, very honest and have benefited from products. Can only speak as I find!
- DonnaMy elderley mum has just been conned out of £299. She thought she was just buying a months supply at £12.

- TrillianMy father is 88 and has vascular dementia. Yesterday he told me that some very nice people from 'the health division' had called and asked him lots of questions. He thought it was ok because the two women who spoke to him ('Kim' and 'Anna') were very nice! He gave them his debit card number. They have sold him pomegranate extract pills for £47.
I followed up the number he had from them and the person who answered refused to tell me the name of the company. I told him I would call the police and he hung up, after wishing me a nice day.
This is the action I have taken:
1. Cancelled my father's debit card (I have enduring power of attorney)
2. Reported the incident to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040
3. Reported also to Consumer Direct 0845 404 0506 They are reporting to Trading Standards who will, in turn, contact me.
These agencies have taken the case very seriously and I urge you to contact them as well so that they can put a stop to this evil practice of preying on the elderly.- Caller: Elbon Wellbeing

- Ffion replies to Lin HOur phone is ex directory too and I wonder how firms or fraudsters get hold of these numbers. The lady who called me knew my first and last name! I can only assume other companies obtain details legally then sell the information. This should be stopped.
- stoporilshootSame as the complaints above. 80 year old mother duped out of 85 quid by these bandits.....Will phone Action Fraud/Consumer Direct tomorow

- AngryJust had the same problem with my 80 year old father-in-law. Going to call Action Fraud etc tomorrow while my father-in-law goes to the bank to check his credit card balance. Tried to get onto the website but surprise surprise it seems to be down! My in-laws are also registered with the Telephone Preference Service and we will put a complaint in to them as well as they should not be recieving live sales calls.

- NatashaJust seen my parents bank statement and saw £365 debited for medication from this company. This is very dangerous since my father already has pre existing medical conditions. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCTS. I am going to have to cancel his debit card now since they have his details.

- ijc1410My elderly mum (88) has just told me that a very nice lady called her a few months ago about some tablets that would be good for her. The lady was very persuasive and eventually my mum agreed that maybe at a later date she possibly would try them although was not interested at this time.
Within a few weeks a years supply of rosehip tablets arrived. My mum is diabetic and on medication for high cholesterol.
She has been worrying about these tablets for weeks and only told me about them on Friday last week.
I am furious that my lovely mum should have been scammed like this. Luckily she hasn't paid any money - although there was an invoice with the tablets for over £280.
These disgusting people prey on the elderly and surely there should be a way of locking them up!
The tablets do not even have any information in the boxes - which in the UK is obligatory as far as I am aware.- Caller: Elbon Wellbeing
