They rang, an hour ago. Didn't recognize the number.So, didn't pick up.......

It's best to block this number. I have the Panasonic KX-TG8421E that allows me to block up to 30 numbers.

I have received lots of calls from this number but I rarely answer my phone if I'm in during the day as I know they are generally not from friends or relatives (and I always ring 1471 to check if its anyone I know and want to speak to). Personally, I would never ring back any number I do not recognise.

Fed up of this number calling me!

This number calls me almost everyday, i don't answer it as i know they are scammers. Its been going on for years now sick of it!

Caller said they were from UK Lifestyle Survey and wanted me to confirm various personal details and answer a few questions.  When I started to ask them questions about the purpose of the survey and what they were going to do with any info provided the person the other end immediately hung up.  The want people to answer questions and provide info but are reluctant to answer questions and provide info themselves!!!!!

This is the second time I have received a silent call from this number.  When you try to call them sing 1471(3) the number cannot be connected.  Total nuisance.  How can anyone complain?

I'm with TPS.  It certainly doesn't stop everyone.  I have now got Caller ID with BT and I don't answer withheld or 'calling' , but I do with numbers showing - I get the silent calls!  Wish I knew how to block them too.

I found out that companies ate able to buy ex directory numbers I was livid when I found out, no number is safe.

These people are criminals!!  Report these calls to Action Fraud (http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud - I have already done so, but the more people that do it, the better - and they DO prosecute and DO give huge fines - IT'S WORTH IT!! BTW, I have now got the wonderful Panasonic phone so can block these numbers!

Cold called by asian. When I asked who she represented she killed the call.  I pushed my call blocked device button and they are banned forever.  Best £30 ever to cut most calls now.  

Whole of my office just got spammed by this number (over 30 phones), Asian called Loretta claiming to be from 'Accident Claim Helpline', told me I could claim thousands for the accident I had (must've been bad because I can't remember it!).  We managed to string her along the office, answering the phone 'Surrey police', 'Battersea Dogs Home' etc, quite fun but a nuisance nonetheless.

This number is calling 2 times a day .... yhey either hang up or try asking to do a survey I am with the tcp but don't see to make any difference. ... getting fed up with it all now .... im ex directory and with virgin ....before I waswwith BT so no doubt they sold my number on

said its microsoft its the event viewer scam from cps instant fix

This number called me just now, it was an Asian guy..sounded like he wa in the car. He said e was from the Accident Helpline and he sad someone from my number had tried to contact them. When I told him he had the wrong number he quickly hung up!

Received a call from this number just now. Have caller display so when I don't recognise a number I let it go onto answer machine and as usual the line goes dead. At least I don't have to  deal with their chat or worry about their questions but still very annoying when you are interrupted several times a day, usually in the middle of something important. Also with TPS - obviously fairly useless !

Just got a call from this number. When I answered there was no reply, so I hung up as presumed it was an automated call system from some scam company.

Asian from their technical department wanting to repair my (non existent ) computer.
They hung up when said had not got one.

This number called today wanting to talk about Microsoft Windows on my computer.

Told to them to get lost and have now blocked that number.
