Received a call today but they continued to leave me a 4minute voice message which sounded in the back ground like a call center and talking about bank details in the back ground not actually leaving a message for me. Last time I received a call they said they were in South Africa and I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me he would take me off his list. Its not happened yet....

I keep getting calls from this number but they don't leave a message and I have no idea who is calling me.

They are a company who try to get compensation for mis sold Payment Protection Insurances (PPI). Although I'm a 'Miss' and certainly don't sound like a 'Mr Evans'- well I hope I don't!! They still have my name on their database. I called them back and was greeted as Mr Evans!! Told the guy I wasn't that person but he continued to try and 'help me' claim back any mis sold PPI's. I had to hang up on him at the finish!!

i also have been getting calls from this number...asking for some one dont get the name in time because i cant understand her. very annoying....

I received a missed call from these people today on my mobile don't know who they are, but after reading these posts I certainly  will not be answering. To be perfectly honest I receive these calls frequently on my land line from different companies and getting pretty fed up with it.

Ellsworth associates - they call me frequently...i have now threatened them in no uncertain terms and told them they are not to call me ever again.

I too get callls from this number on and off and its quite annoying! My tip is to never answer any call to your mobile unless you recognise the person or number calling you. If it is someone genuine who is desperate to get hold of you they would leave a message...wouldn't you?

Missed Call on my mobile today. No message left

Do what I do now on my mobile - save the number in the phone book with the name 'Ignore' Then when the phone rings I know straight away whether it might be a legitimate future client or time wasters like these.

And if you can only put 1 number under the name 'Ignore' then just call them Ignore 1, Ignore 2 etc.

Works for me.

Phone my mobile at least once a day, I don't answer, today i answer but did not speak, a femail voice said "hello" and waited for 2 seconds then hung up.

Got a call from this company Ellsworth Associates on my mobile asking to speak to a friend of mine !
How the hell did they link my number with her name?  Something VERY dodgy going on. Neither of us have ever heard of this company. They are apparently a PPI reclaim company. Don't return their calls.

Works for me too...Im up to ignore 8 !
