These people called me three times today. Firstly, he called me 'love'! Then said, 'it is important I must speak to the man of the house, this is Scotland Yard'.

What kind of a fool does he think I am!? I am on the telephone preference list so shouldn't even be receiving these calls.

Just had these jokers call me. When I said I was registered with the TPS they said it didn't matter as they were not trying to sell me anything. They then proceeded to start the "can I confirm" convesation at which point I hung up.

Write to OFCOM-and your provider; tell them to remove your data from any marketing sources they passed on. Also, start logging all calls-time-and dates, report them to "TPS online complaints form", the more people who report such practices the sooner the regulators act. This is a breach of the EC  Directive, " Privacy and Electronic Communucations Regulations "2003; see info from the INFORMATION COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE on their website. START PESTERING THE PESTS NOW.
