This number rang me yesterday. Voicemail message cut in, then heard voices at other end as if coming from a crowded office, then they finally hung up (thank goodness).

Just had a call from them. Sounded swedish or dutch maybe... rambled on in a language I didn't recognise and then just hung up....

I think they were also from "First Call", calling about some PPI [***]. I said I had no loans, credit cards, etc. They hung up.

The last one asked the same stuff, but instead of hanging up they said "have you had any student loans?" to which I responses student loans never have PPI and made him look like a [***].

Got a call on my landline number at 9.48 this morning to which i politely interrupted them from their selling pitch to point out that i haven't had any PPI in the past and could they remove my details from their system.
Got a call at 11.07 on my mobile from the same number. When i asked if they were the same people who called on my landline this morning they denied it and they continued on the same selling pitch as earlier. So i got my house phone and checked the number on caller ID and lo and behold, same number!! So i interrupted the girl and said she was wrong and read out the number from this morning.She again denied it and said she was a different company and tried to give me a different number she was calling from. So i interrupted her again and read out the number on my phone!
She apologised and said she would speak to her manager about getting me removed from their database, to which i again, rather sternly pointed out i was a member of TPS and that they are breaking the law and will take further action against them if they call again. I then hung up!
Sick and tired of people like this!!

I had a missed call from this number yesterday and they just called again today - I picked up said hello a few times but no answer and then they hung up.

Received a call from this number - couldn't pick up in time so called back. Auto-answered stating it was a digital mail number which was available for sale ..... I rang off!

unneccessary to post the same reply X number of times, for what its worht - you're a total and utter tit. An obviously bored + no life

Anyway, had a call from these idiots just plainly tell them to [***] and never call again otherwise you will refer it to the police as harrassment.

I had the same call today. Some foreign woman, after about ten seconds asked if I was who I am I said NO then she started going on about PPI. I don't even have it so my exact words were.  '[***] OFF' then I hung up.

I keep getting these calls from this number to my mobile and again they dont wait till you answer. Always hang up before you can answer the call. I wish someone could find out who these pests are.!! I rang this number and a weird voice gave a recorded message and couldnt make out what the company was, but I was able to get the phone number they suggested I ring and it was  0870 4460870 a digital mail company and a recorded AMERICAN accent. One option was to press "3" to find out more about the company, pressed 3 and all I got was We do not give information out. What a surprise!! They are a pain and hopefully they will get caught one day. Have they got nothing better to do? Get a job! Get a life!

hi they actually answered when I picked up and some woman who could hardly speak English was going on about the PPI that I have.

Which is odd cos I have no credit cards, loans or anything so it stinks of: SCAM SCAM SCAM.

'Sean Mason' (yeah that's the name!) called from this number. 1st Call Helpline. Wanted to know if I'd had a credit card, mortgage or loan in the last 15 years. I ended the call. Avoid.

Just received a call from this number.  They didn't leave a message on the machine so I assume they are scammers.

'kim' from first call group - tried all tactics to 'find' a claim, kept saying never had any. she eventually changed her tune and she put phone down. muppets!!!

I strung along 'Stewart' the manager and 'Mark Reece' his lackey when they phoned from this number. They swallowed my "you've phoned Scotland Yard by mistake" line completely: JOY.

Their address is First Call Group (South Africa), 220 Flanders Drive, Mount Edgecombe, DURBAN 4068, South Africa. As I'm listed in the UK as not available for unsolicited sales calls (via the Telephone Preference Scheme) I'm going to invoice these jokers for the use of my telephone receiving equipment and my time acting. If they call YOU, I recommend the Scotland Yard spoof, but keep them talking first for ten minutes or more, it costs them money after all, never waste one of these calls.

Rang Back, got automated message saying 'this is  digital (?) club phone number. It is currently for sale. For more informtaion'

At this point I hung up.

What do these waste of space folks think they are doing ?

Missed call today, having read a number of forums these guys are grade A helmuts.

PPI SHIZZEL

Just had a call for these, my husband had missed the call and he thought it was a friends number.I returned the call and got an automated message saying this number is available to purchase! Worried now that I will be charged for this. I am on the TPS.
