I was invited for an interview by Maximus Global Direct Ltd’, 32-37 Cowper St London EC2A, tel – 0207 3360060. – I’ve been invited for a ‘Sales and Marketing’ interview with them tomorrow and the fact I don’t have any memory or record of applying to te company. I was happy that I got an interview, but after reading and doing a little bit of research, I came across this website. I am definitely not going. Thanks guys

Had a call from 07972 348833, a woman named Alexis. Pretty much 10 minutes after I submitted my application online. This is JTG Consulting who are apparently the same as this Johan Gericke. Such a disappointment to have read all these forum posts about it as I was very excited to get an interview as it is my first and the ad was so appealing. :(

Anyway, let me tell you my story about them in a few mins because if your planning to work for them, well you might want to change your mind!!!
(sorry, if a bit long but but i need to tell a lot!!)

Chapter 1:
Okay, so first of all I have worked for Live Innovations or Live Marketing Direct whichever you prefer, because the company has 2 names(!) for about 2 months. ( too long!)

I was just same as you, young person in need of a job. So, you know sending CV's out to anything that sounded good waiting for a reply. One day I got a phone call from Red Box for interview, in a bit later an other phone call from Live Innovations for interview too. I said yes to both. Got the e-mails from both companies for the next day, same address, same e-mail different name,different timing. Red Box at 11 am, Live innovations anytime between 2-5.
Seemed rather odd, but desperate for work, have bills and rent to pay I went for both, thinking it has got to be on a different floor or something. No, it was not! Same floor, same reception desk , same everything!
Had my 1st interview with Duncan for Red Box, went pretty well, telling me about the amount of marketing , events etc they doing for big company like ADT. And most importantly, that they are  looking for new managers/business owners they can promote in 8-10 months. So, I CAN HAVE MY OWN BUSINESS IN LESS THAN A YEAR AND THEY'LL TRAIN ME UP FOR FREEEEE!!!!!!!!AND I AM 22!!!
That sound sickly amazing, doesn't it?
ah well, I have to wait for a call to let me know if I made it for the next interview.
So, I go out have a coffee in costa across the road, waiting for my next appointment, all very very happy, praying to get that job.
Anyway, round 2 with Tom Harris for Live Innovations. OMG, they offer me the same thing, no experience needed and free training and in 8-10 months the ability to have my own office.
Sweet dreams coming through today, girl, i told myself. Wait for a call though, of course
and yaaay, both of companies called me back for 2nd round interview, which they call as an open day, where I spent the whole day with the leaders to see what they are doing. I had to choose,cos both were for the next day. I chose Live Innovations, felt more relaxed during the interview.

Chaper 2:
Open day

I had to be in at 12 pm. Had to dress smart, because I was going to represent the company and clients, which is fair enough. Here, i am very excited.
We left the office at about 2 pm, with a leader, another observation and a trainee. Gone to London Bridge station, where I got asked if I had plenty of money on my oyster. Which I had, but the leader I went with did not have money on her so i had to give her  10 quid. Yeah, whatever, good impression is important, right?
We went to zone 5 for council estates to knock on doors to get people to sign up for charity. Which I was not very happy with to get in stranger's flats, but when I asked if this is what I was gonna have to do everyday , she said, oh only in the beginning, the higher you get the better stuff you do. Which i thought, yeah thats okay, cos everywhere you start you have start from the bottom and work yourself up, yeah thats cool. Thinking, if in 8-10 months I can get to ownership, this isn't going to take long. The girl took me out that day, oh jesus, i could barely understand her, she is foreign, thats no problem, so am i. But man, that was serious, neither could the people tho.
Anyway, lunch break,where we ate crips from a little cos there was nothing else, she draw the 5 stages of employment and we finally got to money which is for entry level 250+ a week, and that obliviously get higher and higher which sounded awesome! Basic salary? I asked. she replied, well, thats what everybody gets for entry level.
we worked until 8:45, then headed back to the office, got there at about 9:45. I left the office at 11ish.
Had a final interview with Tom Harris, where i could ask about covering travels, he said I can claim it back in periods. Sounds good to me, yeah. Anyway, I got the job, and this girl turned to be my mentor, which i didn't really want,cos i just could not understand her, but did not want to complain straight after i got the job.
Anyway, today is Friday and I am starting on Monday at 10 am. Yaaay, I have a job,money will be great, amazing opportunity ahead of me. I think I'll go out sat and celebrate :)
Saturday night, at my friend's place, after all day of chilling, drinking etcetc I have miss calls from an unknown number at around 1:15 am, than a message:
'Hey its Simona ( my mentor ), how are you? I have no credit on my phone, call me please! We have an office meeting tomorrow at 10 am in notthing hill, which is going to be epic, with the vice president and all. You really should come! call me and I tell everything! love you xxx
errrrrrr.............................. 1: do you realize what time is it?
2: you have no credit?
3:you love me ???????????????????? I met you ONCE!!!
of course when i read it i panicked, and i was pretty bloody drunk by that time too. I was like, OMG i can't make it and I am going to get fired!!!! arghhh...
then my friends calmed me down, that don't worry, im only starting on monday and its a very unreasonable time text someone to be there in a few hours.
So, i did not go.

Chapter 3:
my 9 weeks of employment

Monday morning 10 am. Signing the contract, which is an agreement(!) , and details about my self-employment. Yes, I am self-employed, but I also have bosses, who tell me what to do, what time to be in etcetc. How does that work, again????
Every morning we start in the office, where there is a room, which is called 'atmosphere'. Here we spend hours of listening to motivations speeches by the bosses, them telling us how much money they earn, and everyone who gives up this job is an absolute idiot, a [***] you can say. Because, everyone else is a failure, they are the poor minded people, who are not good enough !!! All cos they don't want to work hard, they are lazy and will get NOWHERE !
ha...
So, there is music in the room, there are impacts being run by leaders/managers, everybody shouts, cos you have to if you want to be heard. We do pitch practising too.
Everyone has to set a goal of sales for the week, and every single day too. You need to network with other managers, you need to read motivational books and watch videos when you get home ( in my case ,every day at 12 am !)
Every day travel usually zone 5-6, costs a lot and takes time, and claiming back in periods?? BUUULLLSSHHHIITTTT!
They teach you how to do sales, and after a week you have got completely brainwashed of what a great future you will have  and pretty much hipnotised, they train you to be their slave and a robot.
Everyday routine:
- in office at 10, sometime even earlier
- 'atmosphere' until around 1, 1:30
- get to your territory at 2:30 (by the time you find your steets is 3, so thats when you actually start working, in last 5 hours you made no money, you are there for free!)
- knock on doors until 8:30 then go back to the office
- arrive there at appr. 9:30-10 pm
- then spend an other min 1 hours in the office listening to people
- get home at 12- have a shower, eat and sleep cos you're up in 7 hours, depends where you live.
EVERYDAY MON-SAT

Chapter 4:
The Problem

You can not be ill, because then you are a FAILURE! You can not have a privet life, cos you are only young you can have that when you retire, you can not have any sort of problems and not be in to work cos then you are a FAILURE!
Everyone in the office is between 19-25.
You can not talk about anything else but work, because thats not the right attitude, and you have to change that!!
You have sunday!thats when you can whatever you want, BUT, in the morning you have to make sure you go through your week just, what you think about it etc, you have set your goals for next week, have a plan how you are going to do that and then call min 2 of your managers usually between 2-5, or you have to pick your phone up when they call or else you'll be told off!
And then they even dare to tell you to work harder when you already do like 70 hours a week!!!!
And you will only get paid for 35 hours of it!
And the money???? hahahahahahahahahahahahahha
I was promised i will get min 250 a week. Well, first of all, I have been told its a weekly payment, which is true, but I had to wait for 3 weeks to get 1st payment which was 60 pounds!!! in my 2 months there was only once when I got over 250, the rest did not even hit the 200.
Very dissapointing.

Chapter 5:
The solution

GET THE HELL OUT OF IT OR DO NOT EVEN GO THERE, COS THEY WILL RIP YOU IN PIECES, AND TAKE YOUR LIFE AWAY!!!!!

Sorry for such a long novel I just did here, but I feel like every person should know who is thinking about starting a new job for them!

Omg these people are still running?! It makes me upset. Cause some idiot under my name writing in two different ways really upset me.

I worked for a company called primus uk in 1 bath street and this is how my week went.

Week one:

First interview: I was greeted by a receptionist, who seemed very friendly to me, and asked me to take a paper to fill up and take a sit, I was asked if I wanted anything to drink, which was nice, but I declined nicely.
The some manager called Duncan came up to me and introduced himself as one of the managers, and another work who I remember clearly well, he seemed young but looked soooo mature who was a leader at the time, I remember him telling me his name as Julius, him seemed too nice to me!!!
Then I met my then manager Mike...lol! who I have to admit did seem nice when he interviewed me... But all that was to change the 4 weeks as I worked there. He interviewed me and didn't really ask professional questions except for "why should I hire you?"
Then he introduced me to some very very rude polish girl, she came and introduced herself as "hi I'm Maria. I'm from Poland I will be your leader" and then she was like "where do you come from?" Lol so I told her and she was like "oh so your Thracian?!" And I would just be like standing there and be
like (what on earth has thracians got to do with this job?!) but instead replied to her "the correct term is Thrac-Illyrian" then she starts attacking me but does it in a nice why cause she thought I was stupid not to see it!
She takes me around some houses ( I most admit I was scared of dogs!) she was telling me how it's not door to door sales but they are promoting advertising, she started to explain the job and so so,
I went home and got a call if I wanted the job ( and me thinking its not a bad job accepted)
I went the next day and there was something called an atmosphere room upstairs, I felt very shy and uncomfortable because I didn't know anyone there, but saw someone who I saw at the interview which put a smile on my face, I was happy to see him. So all I hear is people shouting and we ended up playing games and so so and there was some Australian guy named Toby who was getting promoted and he was giving a speech, a touching one.
The next few days I go round the housed with my then leader and so so around the houses and flats we go, and around my 4th day I was atomatically called a "fake!" By the office people off course I was upset! And I stated I was shy but I got told of for saying that! And was then called lazy. I was told shyness doesn't exist unless you are fake or lazy!  I just sat there all weak,

Two weeks later my manager starts to threaten me, with violence, which was terrifying! You couldn't even speak to anyone about it cause everyone was like "your lazy, just be yourself" I am myself!!!!

I have to admit I never did any sales what's so ever non zero!!! I was far toooo shy! I couldn't, but was constantly called lazy and fake,

So everyday I get threatened with violence and abusive language but some idiot manager then. It was a very unpleasant experience, but I remember one boy constantly asking me how I was treated I guiltly lied to him and said "fine" but it wasn't fine! I was being taken advantage of! The sad thing is I'm the person who is toooo forgiving! but when I told the guy the truth would ask me this questions he would then be like " why
Are you complaining he allows you to start at ten, other jobs you have to
Start at 6 am?!" So you couldn't speak to anyone, cause no one is there to reassure you or be a great listener.

My last day; I went to work it felt different. I placed my bag were they got placed started to go upstairs and the same guy that introduced himself to me went past me and he said something to me which I cannot remember but it really made me upset. So I shock, with fear. Everyone was treating me differently as in a bad way, so my manager then at the time calls me and he takes me to a corner but this time he threatens me even worse! He said things to me that a man should never threaten a woman with, I was just shocked, and left shaken. Then the same guy that made me upset earlier that day passed by again he looked at me and I swear I heard him call me a [***], when I heard that word I almost collapsed to the floor! Why? Why [***]?! What did I do to deserve it? I was soo scarred because I had no idea what I did wrong I just went in the office as myself, the shy girl who was just cautious and always concerned, everyone was ignoring me and so so.

So the next day I never went to work, my manage sends  me a text and asks me if I will go back to work "I told him half of the truth but not the full one, I told him "no I'm not coming to work cause my mum doesn't want me to work there"... But the truth was be because I was being treated like dirt! and I never wanted to see one of the workers (named julius) face again, who is he to call me a [***] like that?! He putted me sooo low! But also because I had enough with the threatening.
So he calls me to tell me to come to the office, cause he needed to speak to me I just took a little bag and my ID card to give it back to him and all the sudden he tells me he is firing me, which made me feel soooooooo happy, because I didn't know how to quit, I was too sensitive, I just smiled with relieve and thanked him. as he was firing me he was telling me how I should have been my self and so so. So I just stood there this time more confident and happier cause I wasn't going to work there any more. So what he said wasn't important because I realised something really special and honest is this:

"Only fake people tell people how real they have to be, but being real doesn't come with what you say but with your actions" so it's usually the fake people that tell others to be themselves.

These people are a scam because they treat you wrong in a bad way, they lie to you, the job is misleading, it's 100% commission your not allowed to ask for advise, I got threatened! You are atomatically a fake or lazy no matter what. You have to pay for your own travel, it's rubbish pay and long hours, some of the works are under age and its illegal for a 18 to work such long hours!

Maybe they aren't all scams if they are honest to begin with, and treat you with respect, but my manager was nothing like that, he lied to me and treated me like dirt. I was constantly threatened! But I was mostly hurt when I was called a [***] by one of the workers, and that putted a hole in my heart. Ok I know I'm not attractive and so so, but was it really necessary to call me a [***]?! I was just shy and vunerable.

It was funny because I was constantly told by Mike to not speak to Duncan I didn't, I never spoke to Duncan in fact I have no idea why he said that to me. I didn't even know what Duncan was like! I never judge people through what I hear I judge them through what I see before my eyes! So no comments about Duncan, but even got told off by Maria for speaking to a Jamaican girl who was working with charity and was told by Maria that I should stay away from them and don't mix with them, and this was after we finished work!

I'm sure a lot of the workers are nice there in that office but I went through hell! Although I did meet a lot of nice people there such as Usman and Nicola and so so.

I worked for YFR LTD back in august
They are as shoddy and dodgy as you could imagine, they'd all be friendly and smiley but they all know what's going on with the sham company. The man behind it all is Ben Lapham, although he hardly shows face in the office he is the overall owner.

I wouldn't advice anyone to even go to the interview, the company is not at all as it is promised or described, .

Pay isn't guaranteed and they always come up with a [***] and bull story as to why pay has come through yet, a month later and I'm still be passed from pillar to post while apparently being offered the chance to one day become a part owner of the sham system. Don't do it.

I actually left my month job to join Live Innovations at guess where Shand Bloody Street.
I was lured by the money promises sadly plus I really needed to get away from my old job. So the sound of this was perfect. I lasted two days. I really tried to give it a go but the door 2 door sales approach was disgusting and not something I was willing to do. Even though I went on the 2nd day interview and my gut was telling me NO NO NO I ignored it and continued on.
Never signed a real contract.
I was not too paid for a few weeks for my sales.
My "mentor" was rude.
Tom was a weirdo - good looking but a weirdo.
I was also told of my base salary being 250 PLUS commission but once I started was told it 100% commission. As if I would work like that! They do not pay your travel either. Which is crazy - if you want me to go walking up and down like donkey I expect a travel card or a discount card. This is London not the bloody countryside.
I didn't like that they wanted to go council estates and ask people who are clearly at home because they don't have a job for money for charity! Charity starts at home when you're skint! It made me feel very uncomfortable.
The final straw for me was when they wanted me to wear a yellow bid with the charity's name on it over my very cute Whistles dress. No no no no. I don't do that.
And if you don't like to hi5 other people I also wouldn't go. Don't ask.
I thought the place was gross there was no place to put your cost and bag just on the floor with everyone else's, the bathroom was gross as was the kitchen.
And after a day of seeing people who can't afford 6.50 a month being told "so you don't want to help the children then?" I knew this wasn't the place for me. Considering I've come from a family where we didn't gave much money when I was younger it made me feel very uncomfortable. I was surprise to find I have more moral standing than what they were asking me to do!

So Live Innovations and Red Five and all those others companies who are looking for Marketing and sales assistants. Say no. If you want to go into marketing you need to go to uni. Don't be lured like I was with the promise of money because it won't come.

This was a couple weeks ago.

they are a COMPLETE scam, come on..100% commission, No basic pay, they lure 17 year olds to work there long hours (which IS against the law!) it has a pyramid scheme to it, all of these are against law! and they treat you badly. the people in the office are mostly innocent youngsters, and foreigners who can't speak english properly. my dad spoke to some lawyers about this company, and they told him that i shouldn't work there (but i was more unaware back then and wasn't sure, plus i didn't want to sound rude or come across as rude so like an idiot i was then, i stayed on) the lawyers said that they are scams and that people have been trying to shut them down long time ago, and they should be shut down!

i saw my ex manager in chancery lane, which is filled with law offices and courts. i don't know what he was doing there, but if he went there to sue people for these websites, then i will give his lawyer EVERY single detail to what he does, and that is a promise.

Sorry to be offensive but...how can i or others like myself trust to work for other companies, when the previews companies LIED to us?  oh and no basic pay?... wow!

your not even allowed to speak about previews workers, you can't blend in with other workers who are not in your team, everything you do or say is your fault, there is no such thing as shy, vulnerable or innocent people, you are either lazy or fake, people will only attach to you if you are real. (yeah and only fake people call others fake)

my then rude leader Maria told me how some girl got attacked (i can't remember if she said she actually got raped or not) but she told me about some girl who got attack at a home, and she said to me

I'm NOT even going to speak about other workers there, since I was only there for a short term only a month, so it's not in my name to bad mouth people who didn't stay much with, or talk to.

I don't like to make complaints through what I hear from others that I haven't seen, I only make complaints through what I see and hear when I'm at the sight.

I did meet a lot of nice people though both in the group I was in and other groups.

Thank god! I applied for this job along with others and a woman phoned me today offering me an interview. Of course, I said yes! Then, I sat there and thought to myself 'I don't even know what the company does?!' So tried finding them via google... And the result I get? A crappy website with absolutely no information whatsoever! So, I emailed the woman back saying 'thanks for the opportunity, but I do not want an interview anymore'.

People at this place sound like the scum of the country

i can't believe you even stayed on to work with that cloth, i never accepted the job, cause the job was a JOKE, all i got was her crapping about cultures, i mean she did explain the job, but most of the time it was "this country that country" ok! bloody hell! i didn't come to work to be lectured about countries, cause its not me, i came here to work! so never accepted it cause her behavior was appalling! she tried to act smart and be  professional but how is it professional to constantly make nasty remarks on a certain culture?! its not! so i never accepted it.

i wish you had done the same, but whats done is done.

I wouldn't say anyone working for this outfit was successful just second rate con artists.
