Thank you so much for that review, it's three years later and they are still sending the exact same emails with a different address, you saved me a lot of time (and money).

I'm very confused by this review.  Why were you only there 7 months?  Was the job a scam or not?

So I googled about Live Innovations scam and the result directed me to this website.

I am still in shock at the moment reading the story as far as back to 2009 that the storyline was exactly the same with what I am now experiencing in 2017!!!!! So the office address is now at Angel but the people who run the company is still the same and under company name Live Innovations.

I am not saying it's a scam, but it is a very smart sales and marketing people who speak their words perfectly.

I am honestly surprised to see some people really gave it a try for a month or so. For me, just couple of days are enough.

The begining of the story are the same. Very fast recruitment process that biased our mind to win the so called 'competition'. Of course I was biased with the 'competition' word as I am a very competitive person and of course about the 10 month promise. But my head starts the doubt when signing all the self-employment agreement, the commission, and the fee charged. I was like, I am looking for a job because I need money not because I have too much money to spend and invest for so called self-employment.

It is not a lie that as a self-employed person you pay (invest) on the facilities and any kinds of equipments you need to earn money. But, personally as a former enterpreneur, I don't see what I have to invest to them are worth-it.

I am not saying they are scam but they are more to me taking advantages from the vulbnarable people, like me, and liberately do everything in such a rush so they play with people head to get them panic and playing the giving-and-losing psycological theory.

That's why I am saying here they are brilliant sales and marketing people who have that skill to talk and get into people head.

I am just feeling very disappointed because I thought they were really care about me, but then I realized that they only see me as the money maker and I feel many of them are fake. I don't respect that at all. As much as I need money, it is better to stay at home looking for some real jobs without spending anything than wasting my time every single day wake up at 05.30 AM because we start the meeting at 7AM every single day!!! Not to mention to have paid for the travel, especially when your event is out of London. Yup, you have to pay your own travel.

So, working for them just for couple of days has ripped me off almost 50 quids I guess for all the travels and food and ZERO income.

Thanks for the field skills anyway, that's how I understand the way they work on people are the same they are working on their business whatever it is they are selling. Basically what I do on the field is what my leader or the company do to me. I am a customer to them, the money maker.

It's your choise whether they way of  running business fits you or not. For me, no it does not fit me at all.

Right were do I start lol lol the whole company is a shambles 1st off what company doesn't own their own building...they are renting out a business suite for godsake....  alright let's get into it..where do I start..you will be intrigued lol ..i apply for the job online I get a email a day later...saying I have the experience for the job...before I finish I'll give you the heads up...i applied because I thought I was setting up stages for events and festivals...i have never done it my life...and they are telling me I have the experience lol...but being unemployed you just want some income...back to the point right....so I go to the interview nice receptionist at the front very vibrant and everyone in there is good looking and dressed well...im thinking all this to set up stages for events...so I go in for the interview fill out some form.. that I already told them everything about me in my CV...talk to "James " he asked why I would be suitable for the job...I told him I have physical attributes and experience in labouring lool at the time I did not know it was sales (scaming people) so I'm thinking you've only gone and messed this up lool...an hour later I get a phone call looooool saying I passed the 1st interview ......now I have to do an assessment the next day from 8am to 6pm do a questionnaire and if I pass do a final interview with "Tom " alarm bells should be ringing for me right...no as I said I need income....soooo...i go in and hear really loud shouting...from outside I thought it was a scene out of football factory lool ... only to find out it's the employees...LOOL alarm bells should be ringing again Right? NO....im still being naive...so there is more people for training we all got seperated around 8:30am to get told we are going to Lewisham from Angel...bare in mind I'm broke loool and just about got to Angel lool I did not get told this which started to grind my gears I'll be honest...so I am with this alleged trainer..who is giving me this speech about dreaming and doers....telling me live innovations make 22,500,000 a month LOOOL and you can become a manager in 12 months with your own office LOOL ...right so we get to Lewisham and we go to LEWISHAM SHOPPING CENTRE anybody that lives in London knows that area is not known for a Canary Wharf lifestyle looool heres the bit I found a tad bit strange...they were trying to make you flog off credit cards...in an area were there is poverty and bad credit LOOOOOOOL I don't mean to laugh but come on....how stupid do I look...pretty bloody stupid because I carried on listening to these idiots Lool basically your sent to observe how they operate and take notes ....so anyway lunch appears and we talk how you get paid there isn't a fixed salary and everything is commission based.....i mean what the hell....this was the moment I knew I was getting hoodwinked ....i wasn't allowed to talk to the employees I was seperated from the trainees ...and was left stranded in Lewisham because i didnt have enough money for travel..and they won't cover your travels..he did buy me a burger so can't feel that bad ayy?? Anyway I told him it weren't for me after lunch..... the look on his face was priceless...i think he spent his last tenner on my burger and couldn't get home either LOOOOOL serves em good complete scam STAY AWAY

OMG! Your review was written in 2012 but the company still carries out the same practices on young desperate graduates. I recently applied to their advert for Events assistant and got an interview straight away.

I found out during the final round that the job had nothing to do with Events, it was selling credit card on streets and working for commission only. I actually got mad and showed  them what I had applied to. Their response:.’we are an outsourced company, you should have known that’ ummm no where in the job ad it was mentioned. They pressured me to take the job and promised I would make £27k a year. I realised pretty soon that I was not going to make £27k a year and if I had accepted the job I would be miserable and making no money. I walked out mid interview. I literally stopped the interviewer and told him that he had wasted enough of my time. Has I passed the corridor I saw so many young graduates like myself and told them to leave because it was a trap. I hope they followed me advice.
Shame on the company. If I had accepted their offer my experience would have been the same as yours.
