Managed to get a job at this company YFR, 12 Baron Street Angel Islington.  I didn't get  phone call from them but got signed up at the door. Went to the interview, got the job worked for about a week hated the job, I finished working there in august 2012 its now december and they haven't paid me the £120 they owe me! This company is a scam the manager is unrelaiable and extremely hard to contact he switches between two mobile numbers! Whats that about! Let me know if you've ever been done by these people.

Thx all for the heads up, almost fell for this, just had a gut feeling and googled 'JTG Reviews' and this came up. Got the exact same email as all of you, but I shall be passing this on to the jobs website I found it on and making a formal complaint. Its bad enough looking for a new job without this.

Now just warn all your mates and get them to warn theirs.

hi guys i have an interview with innovations marketing tomorrow.They say on advert through Reed.Co that the pay s £15000 pa to £20000 pa. But after reading comments I am now wondering if I would be wasting my time  I do not have money to keep going into London for pointless interviews. Went for one with GOGEN spent all day with other potential (LOL) Recruits I can only imagine we all had a miserable email when we got home. Any advice would be appreciated

There is no Meridian Ltd registered at this address. Thus I would advise extreme caution.

Just thought I would give my story too. I actually currently have a job but hate it and desperately need a new one, I have been applying for so many that when a company finally did call me for an interview I didn't know which it was for but had an idea. There was an advert saying they were looking for a lively individual no experience needed etc. firstly I thought it was really weird that the woman who called me didn't even say what company she was from? But she gave me their address so I typed it into google hoping to find their website... I did. A co pant called ANB promotions based in Birmingham. Read through and didn't really get it but went to the interview. Drove there the day before to ensure I knew where I was going then left work early the following day for the interview. When I got there there was loud music channel blasting In reception (like a lot of these posts say) and I was greeted by an over enthusiastic girl about my age and asked to fill in an application... All info that was already on my CV anyway. Then was taken into a room by one of the managers.... He was really nice and I'm a bit disappointed he's even involved in this type of scam company... Interview lasted all of 10 minutes and he asked me back the following Thursday for a group interview. Booked the afternoon off work and went.... This time reception was full of people and I was sitting there thinking I've got. Really bad feeling about this and I even txt my boyfriend saying this. Greeted by another lovely man which again, I can't believe is involved with this and he gave a presentation on about energy saving etc and it slowly started dawning on me it was door to door sales.... Then he came to the fact it was commission only but made it sound so appealing with the money u could earn! Saying one guy earned £1300 last week alone..... Had a small interview after and said he would ring me later regardless (he blatantly rang every person there giving them the job) I left feeling confused and rang my boyfriend telling him about it but just kept looking At the earnings and thinking how much more I could be earning than I am now! Then I just happened to type in 'are commission only jobs a good idea' or something like that into google and all these pages about the cobra group etc started coming up and then saw anb mentioned and my heart sank.... I literally sat for hours reading them getting more and more upset... Finally they rang and I did not wanna answer! But I did and he offered me the job.... I had to act happy but I weren't And I said I would find out how much notice I have to give at work tomorrow..... I then started reading more n more found this page and literally cried on the phone for an hour n half to my boyfriend. Just as I thought I had a new job I realised it was all a joke. I never rang them bk. they rang once left a voicemail but that's it. So I lost lots of money at work take g time off, petrol, parking etc so I'm writing this to warn anyone do not do it! They don't care who leaves because they will just find SMS more mugs to employ under false pretences. STAY AWAY FROM ANB PROMOTIONS!!! And any other Cobra company!!!!

These kind of companies are the worst thing to get into I worked in red five as its called about 3 months ago and I gotta say it wasn't the best as soon as you walk into this place 14-20 shand street london bridge there is loud loud music playing in reception I thought ok fair enough so I walk into this interview and the person interviewing me duncan sharp was asking me some ridiculous which wasn't exactly proffesional but me at the age 18 I wouldn't really give a dam so I walk out of this place and I call from the women at the reception desk called  lavinia iovino saying that I got the chance to come back for a second interview the very next she sent me an email saying to be there at exactly 12 and would be ending at 8-30 bringing a pen, pad and come dressing smart.

So I come in the next day and I was waiting for about an hour for this idiot to give me a second interview and he introduces to this guy who seemed ok and telling me that I was travelling to a different location for promoting and I was thinking ok didn't expect that. So we walk to the station and he was telling me about how succesful this company has been for the past several years and what they've done to help companies like talk talk love film etc and when we get to the station I get told that we are going to a different place in north london to promote a company of some sort so we go there and when I get there I'm told that were doing door to door sales which was not stated in the job advert but I just got on with it and while we are doing he was telling me that in this job you can get promoted to managment in 8-10 months and you'll be earning a weekly wage of 250-350 at the end of the day we get back at around 9 and I do this questionaire thing and I get called in the room for the second interview he asking me stuff like what can I bring to the company and blah blah by the end of it I got the job and left feeling good

So the next day I start at 9:30 and I sign a few forms and afterwards I go into this room called atmosphere were people do pitch practising to get it right and stuff and alll you can talk about is work and nothing else and also you weren't allowed to leave the room to go to the toilet or anything cause you woul get in trouble and every morning morning we would get this inspirational talk by an australian fella named tom harris and fat overweight prick named boyd parker about how they were succesful and how they achieved there goal when they were in our position and talking about the ways of how not to a failure in life in this job outside life you could never discuss as much. And one day I went out to the area and leading the group was a guy named corey spencer and he was probably the most miserable piece of [***] I have ever met in my entire life I was about to have my lunch and he said no don't eat your lunch its not the right work attitude and that point we was on the train on our way to the area. About three weeks later I was told that this was a commision based job but it didn't say that in the advert and the person who took me out to the area on my interview told me that this was salary based and at that point I was so confused. And as it went on boyd parker was getting on my case saying that I was being lazy and I'm not puttting enough effort into the but I was working 10 in the morning till about 11 at night are you serious really. So after 7 weeks at that job I decided to quit cause it was all a lie the people there were so fake and the leaders would actually demand you not to hang out with certain people because apparently they weren't doing a good enough job and were a failure

For the people who are reading and haven't been to this company I like everyone else has said would tell to stay away form these companies because they will take the piss and they will also put you in a lot of debt as you have to pay for your travel to different locations everyday.


The people you have to avoid are the names of duncan sharp, tom harris, lavinia iovino the reception women who you would get the call from she a very annoying and horrible just keep your ear open for that anf course the biggest [***] of them all boyd parker he's the owner of most of these companies that have scammed people in the past they run promotions for care 2 give, adt fire and security alarms system and good child charity.

I recieved emails from an SSC Marketing & a Key consultanty 3 or 4 weeks ago. I had no incling whatsoever untill i read an online comment calling both groups 'a dirty sham'. I research key consultantcy and then found that they were on the asa website for fales advertising! i was shocked but more upset. Not even angry about it. The link states they had misrepresented themselves when they were really offering DOOR TO DOOR sales. :Sthere is a full report is in the link below.  Their branding names vary from countless too. The Key consultancy group was actually under a group called 'Platnium9' Limited or Marketing who have spread their scam from the U.S!! In America They're either called Platinum one or Just Platinum marketing. 'Platinum' (American version) even appeared on America's Rippoffreport.com!
