I then went to the job centre spoke to an adviser about it and she let me call them from the phone, we sat there in position 1 on hold for 45 minutes, I then googled the number (08453009073) which obviously came up on a website saying it was a scam !!- Caller: Premier Inn

Seems like this operation has more heads that the Hydra. Seems dodgy, or rather seems like it wouldn't be worth it unless you're a top top seller, which I'm not and which you have to be to make money on commission only. I have been invited to interview in Central London on 17th Jul but I think I'll save the train fare...

- Keira| 1 replyI went to the monster marketing direct interviews and got the job to later find that it was door 2 door sales, went to my first day of training and was away from 8am never got a break and had not ate a thing all day and did not get home until 11pm and I made a few sales to later find out I would not be getting paid for. They told me in the interview that the hours would be 11am to 8pm and never mentioned anything about being commission based only. It was like doing slave labour.
I wish businesses like this would put on their job advertisements that the job is commission based only and that it is door 2 door sales. Their advertisements are so misleading.
I also got another call today from YFR ltd to come for an interview, I do not know whether to go or not? Is it the same things as Monster marketing. I do not want to do door 2 door sales or work on commission?- Caller: YFR ltd

http://company-director-check.co.uk/director/907480001 - Ezee replies to KeiraYes, YFR is commissioned based only.
Door 2 door sales and telesales (cold calls) are not easy jobs.
Be careful too of other companies calling themselves "brokers" or junior broker positions",
Capital Vintners, for example, are ruthless in recruiting through Success moves agency,
they will sack you within days, even tho they say you have a job. No pay at all during training or any time to get sales from cold calls to sell "fine wines".
Good luck with job hunt, it is a recession and many online companies are exploiting unemployed young people , school leavers and jobless grads.
Try the reputable companies like John Lewis, M&S and Tesco, these offer real jobs and proper training for real jobs and careers :) - Ezee replies to The 1Thank you for your helpful information.
It is good for people to know what sort of businesses they are dealing with.
Good research advice. Same to the others who offered links for people to check before going to these "job interviews" and accepting these "jobs". - KiaOmg! I got this yesterday and got really excited as I'm from the North about to move to London but I did not remember applying for the Job. Lydia rang me up too actually asking me to start next week? But I really do not remember applying for this job..... (Weird)

- The 1Commission jobs pay you on the amount of sales you create. Some jobs pay part commission and part wage where you get a steady wage, but more money if you sell more. The more you sell, the more money you will get as "commission" and that is a major advantage. There is no end to how much you can earn in a commission job.
Commission jobs can help you make bad decisions, as your paycheck is dependent on it. I will never get paid that way again. I prefer to sleep well knowing I didn't screw anyone including myself. There are drawbacks that include not getting paid becasue of various criteria the company set up. Such as because they couldn't finance a customer, collect from a customer, someone else in the company screwed up the job you sold, the company is unethical and doesn't pay you.
I suggest anyone who is considering taking a leap into a commission job to start with a Base + Commission job rather than commission only. It's just too risky to begin with commission only. Once you get accustomed to selling and your comfortable closing and with the entire sales process in general then you're ready for commission only. - IN2Commission only sales jobs also come with some serious disadvantages. No financial guarantees exist in this payment set-up. In other words, the amount you earn each month depends entirely on how successful you are with your sales for that period. If you have a bad month and make only a few sales, you can expect a very small paycheck. Worse still, if you fail to make any sales, then you have zero income for that pay period. Straight commission jobs pose a big risk in this regard, especially for inexperienced sales reps who have yet to learn how to maximise their productivity. On top of this, commission only sales representatives are usually treated like independent contractors , self employed (please see below links) rather than employees. They may not be entitled to any benefits eg , housing etc if they are suddenly let go, and they may also be responsible for their own business expenses, such as travel and home office expenditures.
So think before you sign anything.

https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/02078410208 - Pascal deeSSC marketing in Manchester.. Do not trust them they are scamming you! All the above comments apply to me, everything everyone has mentioned basically happened to me too! I stayed for about one week, spent around £100 if not more, on transport as they do not pay for it, I even had to pay £15 for a train ticket to Preston and back from Manchester for my second round 'Observational interview' and probs made around £40 the whole week as the commission is only like 20% or something daft! To add to this i was getting up at 5am to get into work for 7:45 to run around like a headless chicken for the whole morning perfecting the five stage 'scripted' speech!! Also a warning to anyone considering it, on my last day I cried in the bathroom to myself as i didnt know what to do, i felt so out of my comfort zone and just wanted to get out of there.. One lady that had been there a while and was a 'mentor' as they call themselves tried calming me down and i think she made a mistake and told me something she shouldn't had.. she said 'when you actually get past the 3 stage of training, you are not actually guaranteed the management position, you have be assessed and come under their actual standards to complete the training' therefore this was the last straw for me and i decided to leave.. The reason it is commission based, and there is no real contract is quite easily seen to be because they can not then get into trouble or get done for unfair dismissal because it is not an actual job in the first place.. it is ONE BIG SCAM!!! BE AWARE!!! X
