What they have now done to counter act the objection from prospects re devere scam , someone has registered http://devere-group-scam.webs.com/ so they can say its not our company and try to throw the google bots away from searching for clients who have been ripped off.
This outfit is one slick machine.

Is it true that once you leave they give you a marketing bill in the event that you don't cover your costs and this is spelt out in the contract that you are asked to sign and think about in 30 mins. Why don't they just give you the contract of employment before you start the training. This surely must be the norm thing to do.

Devere is flooding the internet with bogus articles to throw off the Google bots (e.g. search for "Devere Group Scam" or "Devere Group scam article"/"scam article Devere Group"). Bogus sarticles also appear in searches for "Devere Group" and "con artists"/"fraud"/"fraudsters"/"insider trading", etc.

You stated having cops chasing you ind that very hard to belive, Devere has a bad name mainly due to the ex employees. Yes they have a few bad products but also they have some really good products the Uam funds for example.

The UAM funds, eh? Pfffffff.... LOL Yeah, they are a great idea. I just wouldn't buy them myself or be sucker enough to sell them and have the client remember my name. LOL

That was true a number of years ago leaving many clients without support, I do not believe they have a presence there now.

Rent Boy They tally up your costs and take away from comm earned and if you leave this is taken out of any comm owing or held on indemnity.

I have not heard of anyone being chased for bills but that is not to say it hasn't or does not happen.

I think you have summed up your own question, you need to know very little as you will be no financial expert my friend, that is not your role you sell product in a hard and well practised pitch, bit like double glazing, chairs for old people etc.

There are plenty of "suckers" that believe what they are told and some even make it work so the opportunity is real but not easy. Can you earn mega bucks, yes you can but it is very unlikely, I could you you actyual stats but think that would cause issues so there you have it.

My friend has been offered 1000k a month salary. After reading these comments I'm not convinced he wont have to pay it back at some stage. Does anyone know if they offer salaries or is it just comm only?

Re Milan: Although Devere announced seven months ago that it was opening offices in Milan (https://www.devere-group.com/news/The-deVere- ... taly-Milan.aspx), Milan is not included in Devere's official list of offices (https://devere-group-careers.com/page/OfficeList.aspx). This recent job advert for a job in Milan (http://www.careersandjobsuk.com/devere-769479 ... n-milan/?c=fvrc) says nothing about a salary. Salary offers should obviously be obtained in writing ("If you are satisfied with a salary offer, request it in writing from your new employer. The only contract that counts is the written contract made out to your son. He will no doubt make sure that he receives and is satisfied with that contract before he leaves the country.

Does anyone here participate to deVere presentation yesterday at Hilton Hotel? What did you think? To much good to be true?

I'm a conman, all salesman are, and I'm going to work for them, if i don't sell in the first month, i know the job isn't for me, so i'll move on, even if that means staying in a cheap hotel so don't need to pay for flat, straight away, if i do, then it could be a lucrative business opportunity, let see what happen, and after all, could be a nice holiday to!

I went to the Hilton Hotel on 2nd September and thought it was too good to be true (which generally means it is!!!) My thoughts are flight is £180 and after a weeks training in a 5* hotel in a hot climate I'd just get a flight back if it is no good!! I rang the Hilton and the reception has said De Vere pay for accommodation and food but no added extras like mini bar (but is the receptionist on their payroll to say this???)
My 2nd thought is, get a flight to Dubai, see what it's like and get a flight (quickly) back if it's no good and think that you've had a nice 2 week holiday in Dubai!!!!
