I was looking for the name Frankie Stevens and came across with this website..I will have an interview on Monday so I am definetely cancel it tomorrow.I was suspicious about the name as Frankie Stevens send me an email about my job application and said...
If you are still seeking FULL time hours can you please call Frankie Stevens at your earliest convenience on 0207 2517 278 to reserve you an appointment with one of the managers to discuss the role in further detail it would be much appreciated.
So I dialled the number and ask for MR.STEVENS then she said please bare with me a sec. then the same voice (so her) was on the phone as Frankie Stevens:))
Today I also get another confirmation email which is from a different company:

I believe this is a scam as well.As I saw a post on 9 Aug. 2010 at above warns us for the same address only the name is different and phone number..I also reserved an interview in this company on monday.Does anyone know about this comp.?

People...please get wise , there are a lot of scam jobs out there, and they appear on some job boards and gumtree etc, any job that says no experience ,ground floor opportunity, marketing is a scam...these people are parasites

Thank you guys for this forum. I was at home the whole day and I am sure there is no network problem and still I missed a call. Sooner I got a confirmation email to reply or call back Frankie Stevens. When I called her and asked for Frankie Stevens, a lady asked me to wait for a sec while she transfers the call. I have worked as Caller for a year and Not boasting but yeah I am sure that I can recognize some voice. It was the same lady again. Thank you so much I am not going tomorrow.

I went for an interview yesterday,,heres the fishy part:

no company name in the office
the person i went to meet didnt show up, met someone else instead
lots of boxes were lying around
companies in the same building hadnt heard of this company name
no discussion of salary
I met a person who was apparently the director of the company(the company name was under his name)
the interview was a done with another job seeker
they asked me for another interview without me even talking in the interview

I had an interview today, with Unik. Biggest SCAM EVER!!! The man who interviewed me thinks he is a big shot, what a complete idiot talks to fast and after about it was done so was very glad............

Get a Phone call from UNIK - just put the phone DOWN!!!

also be aware of jessica calling from UNIK on similar number. only difference is the last digit is 5. Have also heard that a company on the same street (bath street, London) is the same company operating under a different name.

Hi im 17 and i went for a job interview with UNIK coporation today and thought everything was legit as the office's seemed normal and so did the people, i had a interview and was told that ill be contacted the same day if i am sucessful to come back for a second interview. I later recieved the phone call which i was very happy about, earlier this evening i started to search more into the company and realised other people's comments on the same company, i will now not be attending the second interview tommorrow, thank you

Frankie & Jessica from UNIK - I think I had an interview with one of them today but not sure she called herself Nia and is one of the managers..... everything looked okay in the office very busy and people coming and going and everyone was friendly. But the chick Nia just came across as an idiot to me... so I won't be going back. Nia kinda sounded like Frankie on the phone not very professional! UNIK more like CRAP!

Oh my god! What a waste of a travel card. The Unik "manager" didnt even explain the job role properly. He spoke so fast I thought he was going to pass out or have a stroke! I left the interview knowing less than when I initially came in. I dont think it is a scam but I found that it is a stupid 15 hour day for 6 days a week comission only and self employed. I know one guy that had been working there for 3 months now and he said makes about £100 a week. Thats less than minimum wage!!! Someone should investigate them. They seem way too unprofessional and childlike to do their taxes right, we should mess them around as much as we have been. Why are their adverts so vague and misleading? The nicest person there was the asian lady on reception!

Applied on GumTree for a Sales Marketing Trainee role with Unik.  Their website seemed dubious and vague.

When I arrived, no sign on the door, stained reception area chairs, dance music playing (?).  I was told to fill out an application form which was weird in itself.  The last question was "what internet job sites do you know about?"  Very strange.

I was 15 minutes early, yet the minute I had handed the form back in, I was ushered in for the interview itself.  I was actually done with the interview BEFORE the time it had supposed to begin.

I was interviewed with the really fast-talking guy.  He was barely intelligible, asking lots of questions like 'where do you see yourselves in five years time' and not really wanting to know anything other than that.  The only thing he mentioned about Unik was the electric cigarettes, so at that point red flags were raised in my mind as I figured that was their only product.  As soon as he told me I'd be expected to head up my own office within six months, I knew it was a scam.

Surprise, surprise.  They called me back later to 'congratulate' me about getting a second interview. This would be where we met the Trainee Managers and spent a day (literally) with them, and we were supposed to bring a notepad.  Our final interview (?) would perhaps (?) be at 8pm (wtf?).

Obviously, now, I won't be attending :D

I applied on gumtree just the other day and got a call this morning. I called back and asked for Frankie or Jessica as the email said, and the lady replied saying she was Jessica. The "Jessica" on the phone says there will be multiple interviews tomorrow between 3:30 and 4 and asked me what time I would rather. I didn't know what to say to this as I was thinking, theres only a half hour difference.. I said "I don't mind" and she laughed and said she'll put me in at 4.

She was very chirpy and laughing at everything, I didn't think I was that funny. I didn't even say anything.

Anyway, I'm thinking I'll go anyway just to nose around and share my experience too. Might bring a secret camera with me. Anyone else going tomorrow?

wow thanks to your messages on here i wont be attending my "appointment/interview" later on today... i just googed UNIK to try and get more information on the company and this is what i found.. Gobsmacked but relieved. I also got a call back less than 24 hours after applying for  a "sales representative" role.

i havent been given any insight as to who would be interviewing me either.. thought this was really odd, but now i know why.

I had similar experience. In my case a friend of mine was already working there. I feel bad tht even she didn't warn me. You people are lucky that u got info well in advance. In my case, I went for 1st interview and as mentioned by others, thr was a guy speaking very fast He said tht we have more thn 90 branches in the UK and USA n nw planning to expand. We have potential but we dont have enough MANAGERS..!! I told tht my frnd worked bt tht ws for DIRECT SALE n he said- ths is a different job, we r looking fr managers, nt ppl for direct sale.!! so I ws convinced. I was called fr 2nd interview

On the day of second interview. I was supposed to bring a note pad with me. When it started the girl named MIA said tht we r going outside and you wl learn what we actually do on field. I asked several times that wt I am actually supposed to do. She said- I willl tell u tht at the end of the day. we went to Leicester square and went at Starbucks. She took her bag n collected stuffs from Victoria Jackson. I ws told tht she vl show it to 10  ppl and I hv to mark X if sm one doesnt buy and () if sm 1 buys it..!!! Then we went out n she started selling thngs to ppl tht its a product frm USA- I saw tht it ws made in china. she sold sm of them n said tht we hv to show it to 100 PPL today!! I ws like-tht's enough. I asked her abt designation n profile, salary. She then said tht its fr TRAINEE CAMPAIGN MANAGER and on commission. Jst £5 if u sell one make up kit..!! thn u cn work in office n learn LEADERSHIP, cn talk to our clietns.!! thn it hit me wt they wr doing. She said tht once u gt permnnt position, u gt £10 per product. So 5 fr new beginner and 10 fr manager!! they sell it fr 20 then hw much is the real cost of the product? If it is designed by American designer, hw is ths possible? In addition to tht, they gv a booklet on the name of America's top model, the real proce is £130 and ppl cn hv it fr 20 coz tht's their lucky day n the product is on promotn..!!!!

I hd enough n told her tht I cnt do it. Sorry, m going. She said-OK u cn go bt I hv to move around n sell more products!! sobasically u r under impression tht u r working fr managerial post bt actually u r selling the product fr them.

Cheaters..I jst regret tht I wasted money fr my travel card fr both the days!!!!
