Hi all,

Here is my story about UNIK CORPORATION and POWERHOUSE DIRECT LTD. Both are the same companies who called me and sent the confirmation email for the job interview. In the email I got from UNIK there was no address mention and in the email from powerhouse direct ltd the address was mention. when i googled i found out the office is one and the same, so i tried calling them but no one answered the call.

As mentioned in our conversation, here is the email as promised for your scheduled interview with us on (date) at 1:30 PM. You will be interviewed by my manager and so it would make a great impression if you come prepared with your CV and if you also dress smartly, a print out of this email may also come in handy for when you get here.

Your appointment with us should last around 30 minutes, during this time my manager will explain our company background, goals and business structure, along with full details of the opportunity we have available. This will also be the time when we get to know you and a bit more about your previous experience/qualifications/hobbies, hence why a CV is a good idea to bring with you.

You will need to travel to OLD STREET tube station, which is on the Northern Line. When you get to Old Street, please remember to take exit 7 out of the station. Walk directly ahead, past the shops on the right until you reach the Cooperative supermarket. Once at the co-op you will see a street called Bath Street just infront of you. Turn right into Bath Street, and walk to the end of the road, our office is on the right hand side of the road, just before the traffic lights and we are door number 1. Please come inside, and be sure to ask for myself Kloe, so that the receptionist will know who you are here to see and why.

Another addition to the scam list.

i had an experience with Unik nothing like any of these, i worked there for 2 months, in my opinion none of you know what your talking about. There is no scam involved at all, i admit this job was not for me as i dont intend on running my own office but it is for some, from my understanding you are only on comission for a set amount of time and the intention is to progress to management and eventually have your own office, it would be illegal to be a ''scam'' surely.... also i understand there is more than one company in the same building which is not unusal for central london. All the comments i have seen just show me your all uneducated [***]

oh and if your expecting a detailed hand written email from a person within a big and busy organisation your dreaming, every large company has template emails

think twice before you waste your time for "interviews" with them. You may feel taken for a ride afterwards. YOU will lose time and money to get there. PRIOR TO INTERVIEW:  Always demand a FULL NAME and COMPANY NUMBER of the company which is advertising vacancies. Demand the FULL NAME and POSITION of the person who is going to interview you including this person's contact numbers. Demand the name of the position and full job description. IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO KNOW. Also ask for BASIC SALARY and OTE = On Target Earnings. The jobs with Saturn Solutions are probably low OTE only - a small percentage of achieved by you sales and no BASIC SALARY of any sort. ASK FOR DETAILS IN WRITING - VIA EMAIL.

Oh [***]? All good companies respond and adress with detailed personalised emails, because it's done by the admin/secretary to whoever the person is who has applied for the job.

Anyway, I appleid for about 15 jobs yesterday on Total Jobs if not more, and have had 3 emails today, and 3 calls.

Clara Temple.... Large organisations absolutely do not use template emails when contacting interviewees, that is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard.  The reason Unik use them is because they send hundreds of the emails out every day! UNIK are a scam and i am currently in the process of getting them shut down.... cannot wait, watch out UNIK! haha

i had an interview at 5 bath street DOMINION ACQUISITIONS LTD thursday 19th jan 2012 and was introduced to Adele...she took me to her 'office' which was bare and dirty and full of books and cards belonging to someone named Nia. NO COMPANY LOGO,LOUD MUSIC BEING PLAYED IN THE RECEPTION AREA,NOT ONE PHONE IN ANY OF THE 'OFFICES'
After introducing herself as Adele at reception,she then called me in the office where she called herself SOFIA. the 'interview' went well and about 4 hours later,she called me to say how 'incredibly impressed' she was with my interview and invited me back the next day to shadow her for a whole day and that it was vital i attend if im serious about the job. i said i could not come the next day as i had already made plans two weeks prior to that day.suddenly it wasnt so vital and she said i could go on monday instead.
i felt a bit baffled by them so i googled the address and found all these comments. straight away i emailed them (3.30am) and told them i wont be coming on monday and that i have the right for my details to be removed from their database.

keep clear from these wicked people toying with peoples lives. i need a job as ive been made redundant and they are taking advantage. if they are looking for people to stand around all day and not get paid,i suggest they set up a charity instead.

BE AWARE WITH GUMTREE JOB ADDS! Some are serious (I've been to serious interviews, especially for real estate agencies and high street stores), but apparently for marketing and such positions it's a tricky field...

I jus got an e mail from the same abby more that asked for an interview for tomorrow. Definitely not going.
I have been reading, and I can identify like 5 different names for the "same company" which curiously does not change the phone number. In my case the company name used was Blue moon direct.
This is SCAM FOR SURE! Dont be one more victim of these time wasters....

Today i also received an Job interview e mail from Dominion Acquisitions  07429640483 or 0207 251 7283 but this  e mail format was bit unofficial and the problem was that I had not applied in this Company So how they accessed my ID.

I received the same messages and phone call from bluemoon direct. I will cancel my interview with them.I am not working at the moment and I can't offord wasting money in travelling for no reason. Thanks for the posts.

Two days ago I have received an email from Dominion.The content was absolutely the same what all of you mentined. I was wondering, how could they find me, I didnt apply to this job. So I thought I dont care. Nearly end of the day I got a call from blocked number. I was invited to the interview next day at 2:00pm. So It happened yesterday. The guy who was taken part of the interview was very confident, speaking english very well and told me if i'll be good for them i'll get call between 5-6. I got a call at 9-15 from sure blocked number, and they did apologize about the late call. Adele promised me to send me an email with a second interview details. I was waiting for it but it hasnt received. As I can see this is my luck. I called them few hours ago 5 times, no answer at all. Now I am aware this is SCAM. I wont go there anymore. Thanks Guys!!

experienced the same yesterday. i applied for sales/ marketing advisor via total jobs.com
got mails and voice mails from Live marketing, Dominion Acquisition.

when i called no one was answering the next day they called and gave interview appointments at 3.30 PM and 04.00 PM mentioning  the below polisihing words as in the mail. when i went to shand street in the buidling the company name was not there no logo nothing.

once the receptionist gave the form to fill up, ADELE DANVER [ she claims her self as an operational manager then again as an administrative manager] check the mails below ] came and took insde her room to interview and said will call back for feed back, she ws mentoning all the big companies as her clients such as amazon.com..

afterwards, for the 2nd interview when i chekced the landmark, it was on the same building with different guy on same basement lobby.

had an interview with him similar answer that he will call me back.

on my way back home got the missed calls and voice mail back saying that am selected for second interview which is one on sat day another one on monday. interview scheduled from 10.30 till 20.30 pm then i started wondering defintely its somethg fishy.

when i came back home i serched online and thank u guys...
