Has anybody worked for LGB direct.... been invited for an interview but am very wary that it may not be worth my time?

I have had the same response from LGB direct..did you ever go to the interview? I am very suspicious, so many times you think a good oppurtunity has come up and turns out to be a waste of time and your money.

They appear to have an "office" in Southwark, ( near Waterloo station ), as well . I attended a fake interview there as well. The interviewer met me 20 minutes late, and the interview as 15minutes long. The guy had clearly not read my CV, and made bulls**t promises. The office again was virtually bare.

Thankfully, they did not offer me the role.

Right, after reading these comments (all pages) here's my input:

I had two job interviews yesterday. The first was in 21 Risborough Street, Southwark for La Dominion Acquisitions (I know, I know, scam. Found out when I came home after spending almost 10 pounds in my oyster card, but I digress). Basically, the lady who interviewed me was Eastern European and could barely speak English but she had been the manager for 3 and half years. The office was untidy, small, not office-like basically. She kept explained all the roles they have in the company (manager, project manage, all that) but she didn't explain what those roles are, nor what my job would be. She also kept going on about the times that they do stuff, like she kept saying 'from 11 to 17 we do this, form 13 to 16 we do this) and then she immediately jumped into the next day, like if I get selected, you'll have to come back tomorrow, etc... but never once said what I actually would be doing. Oh and the email was from someone called Amie.

Then the second one was in Cumbria House, South Quay. It's called Global Net. I'm not sure about this one, but it was basically a real office, but the woman spoke even worse English than the other one and she never explained what my job would be either. The email was from someone called Becca Stevens. Now, I'm not sure about this, but it seems like a scam as well, can anyone tell me?

And the strange thing is, I got a call back from both. The first one was supposed to be today but after reading these comments I didn't go. The second one is on Monday. The thing is, the second one is supposed a highly regarded marketing company, according to them, and I am 20 years old with no experience in that area and I was dressed like David Bowie in the Ziggy Stardust era. So how did I get a call back?

Oh and more thing, I also got a call back for Source Direct at the same place as Dominion Acquisitions, from someone called Stephanie whose number ends in 701. AND I also got a call from Live Innovations at 14 - 20 Shand Street (previous address of DA) and the woman was also called Stephanie and her number ends in 701. So... BIG, BIG SCAM. Basically they have several names and several addresses and they use them as they wish. The funny thing is, that Stephanie obviously forgot that she had emailed me about one of those and then she emailed me about the other one.

But I do need to know about Global Net though. I haven't found out anything about them, but it sure seems like a scam. And someone mentioned South Quay in one of the comments. So can anyone please tell me about that one?

ive been looking for work for 5 months and I have spoken to hundreds of these companys....They are all scams!

'La dominion acquisitions' used to be just dominion except they added 'la' onto it because everyone knows it is a scam run by a fake smiling blond easten European woman. I get calls from all of these companies all the time so im guessing they pass on your info to try and trap you in with all the fake companies. global net must be the newest scam I had a call from them too for another commission job walking on the streets all day

Says it all, this is one of those companies

My daughter had an interview with Kreative Client solutions the second door to door company shes been dragged around with this year, in the same building as some of these scams you talk about. SHe applied for an office job and ended up walking the streets for hours knocking on doors, . My husband knows a little bit about this kind of thing so we had a look around, there website says 'kreative Client Solutions Trading name of Blue Ocean Outsource LTD' so the company doesn't even exist yet the hr guy said they had 130 offices.. none of which are on the companies registry so it is all a big lie.

Anyway I decided to make a formal complaint to the adverising standards agency to let them know what is going on, I advise you all to do the same if you come across kreative client solutions as they are seriously dodgy
I also made a complaint to the company, they basically replied and slated people in the uk for being moany and tell me they will not take me seriously and that i shouldn't waste my precious time.. one of the rudest companies i have ever dealt with let alone the fact they scam young people into knocking on doors. avoid LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!, this is the response to my complaint from a guy called paul hr@kreativeclientsolutions.com, dont know how he got a job in human resources when he is as rude as he is!

I am already dealing with ASA in regards to my adverts. If there was any problem with the way we run business, we wouldn't have over 130 offices in UK and we wouldn't be running same business in over 20 countries.
So to answer your question, is "no" i do not take your complaint seriously in fact i think it makes no sense to me at all. You are free to make a complaint wherever and whenever you would like to, this is a free country and complaining is a common thing in UK.
Hope you don't waste to much of your precious time writing all those emails to me,

If a company cant even deal with a complaint seriously then there is something definitely fishy going on

avoid kreative client solutions AKA blue ocean outsource at all costs, they will waste your time and money and then tell you that you are moany for complaining about them!

I got a call from GlobalNet today asking me to go for an interview tomorrow. What was your experience of them like? Did they turn out to be a scam? A scam interview over the phone happened to me a couple of weeks ago and I really don't want it to happen again.
