I was close to completing a deal with Jubilee and signing paperwork, but after reading below I decided against it. I must say the previously charming sales advisor took a much more aggressive approach when I withdrew my offer.

Diamonds are worth nothing except the artificial value given to them by the likes of De Beers. They are all blood and conflict diamonds. You can never sell a diamond for more than what you bought it for- imagine trying to outdo a multinational corporation at its own (disgusting) game.

The term 'a diamond is forever' was coined during the Depression when De Beers were not making enough money and so decided to open up the diamond market to the lower classes. This is when the whole farce that is the diamond engagement ring was born, too. Hardly anybody knows about this because sadly most people are ignorant sheeple who cannot think for themselves. A clue would be that your love means absolutely nothing unless you purchase a shiny lump of carbon.

In short, never buy diamonds, never invest in diamonds, never contemplate buying or investing in diamonds. Your safest bet is either gold or property- i.e. houses which you can purchase and rent out to generate an income. That is without a doubt the safest type of investment. No cold calling, no hard pressure sales tactics, no regret and misery later on.

Elite Gems, Charles Stratton and Palm Oil Investments are under the same director, they are all a scam.
The director is only 25 that claims to have worked for Goldman Sachs.

Ended up all being a lie. All of them are registered under the same adress.

All diamonds are worthless lumps of carbon. Their value is invented and their scarcity manufactured by De Beers et al. They are not limited and not really worth anything. Therefore as an investment they really are nothing but a hoax. All diamonds are blood diamonds, too.

It would be amusing to play along with Elite Gems and pretend you are interested. Ask them to send you their tacky propaganda and really sound like a naive man in the street who would honestly believe a cold caller's words. The results will be hilarious. Keep it up! Either they'll take the hint or you can break it to them when you get bored of laughing at them for laughing at you.

Its all a scam. They're calling people randomly and being a nuisance, they say they are in Mayfair but that seems to be just an answering service with a "prestigious address", I have been told they are near South Quay in Canary Wharf run by a bunch of "cloth heads", bud bud ding dings.
"We do not make outbound calls".....what absolute rubbish, steer clear of their highly inflated prices.

I had a call from Jubilee Diamonds from the 37th Floor at Canary Wharf, which seems to be a collection of 'hire by the hour' office suites.  When I asked how I was meant to make any money after their 5% sales commission; and the 15% that auction houses typically charge the man was very very very rude.

I assume that Jubilee are part of this scam as well.  They are difficult to research because searches on the name bring up a very different jubilee diamond (our very own Queen!)

No 1 Gems Ltd website has' mysteriously' vanished from the internet.

However, do not be completely fooled, for Adam Michael Simmons and Adam James Leach have...drumroll...cymbal crash!

STARTED ANOTHER 'DIAMOND INVESTMENT' COMPANY! Yes that's right, a company identical to No 1 Gems Ltd has been set up, with a registered address, or rather: maildrop, at THIRD FLOOR, 207 REGENT STREET, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, W1B 3HH. The same place as No 1 Gems Ltd.

It's called 'Pinnacle Diamonds Ltd'

Same people, same company, same tricks, same scam.

Sorry to hear that you got stung by Jubillee Diamonds and Elite Gems, and big time too.  You probably won’t be the only one as Elite Gems has a stall at the London Investor Show, Olympia on Friday 26th October 2012.  This is sponsored by The London Stock Exchange.  One wonders what criteria they used for the invites, as one company has only been trading for 3 months.  Five Live Investigates devoted a whole programme to one of the training companies.

Please visit the Olympia website for the list of exhibitors to see whether any other companies look like a scam.  Some of the speakers are well known, but some of the stallholders less so.

A WORD OF WARNING! running a search on jubilee diamonds directors Mark Helps and Nicholas Jacobs shows they are also directors of jubilee rare earth metals ltd? Jack of all trades i assume.  Probably another one to steer well clear of!!!

Digging further,  jubilee rare earth metals Ltd. is registered at the same address as jubilee diamonds Ltd!

I have been receiving unwanted cold calls from a company called 'Rare Diamond Commodities Ltd'.  Have you ever heard of them or know anything about them?  I have no intention of ever buying diamonds from them or from anyone else and I have told them so.  They still sent me a brochure!  How persistent!  Their address is listed as being 57 Lisson Street, Marylebone.

I would like to start off with how offended Jubilee Diamonds are with regards to being called a 'scam company'. I can appreciate that this market is very unknown to most people and perhaps the idea of entering into this is met with some trepidation and caution.

I can categorically assure you that our company is in no way a 'scam' - our clients are very happy with the service that we provide them and I am always available to answer any questions they have.

At Jubilee Diamonds we operate an open door policy and if anybody has any questions about the company, they are more than welcome to meet with me in person or send them directly to me. I would like to see the evidence of the 'scam company' that we are invite you to share this with me at any point.

I bet the staff don't get a basic salary, purely commission only - that's how it is in many of these boiler rooms

I have experienced same situation with both Elite Gems and Jubilee on further investigation I found they both operate from same building

Again I was unable to reach any of the brokers directly, I cant believe I was duped by these guys
