Not a very considered response. Ever heard of diamonds? They are pink, blue and violet and from Australia. Values go up and they is no conflict there.

I worked here for about 2 weeks. On interview, we were told that Nick Jacobs was an ex-Barclays Stockbroker and James worked for Goldman Sachs Investment Bank. LOL! Of course, we believed them.
Training was good, but we were obviously led to believe what we were doing was legit and never saw what happened in their office, as we were on the sales floor. A small Irish girl called Cailin O'Herr was "sales manager" who used to walk around with bare feet (they stunk too). I still remember every single employee there at the time. Nick told us how he just extended his house in Spain and has many different Rolex's, Cartiers, nice cars etc.
My probation was supposedly two weeks, after which I was promised an £18,000 salary and comms. 2 weeks went by and I had smashed the targets in every way, however Nick told me I had failed my probation and that I will receive no salary, just commission. I told another colleague this info, and Nick brought me in to his office, got in my face and shouted at me until he was blue in the face for discussing salaries with another colleague. I was 18 years old at the time, and Nick is quite a big man with a dominating presence. I didnt crap myself but I didn't defend myself either. I asked why I failed my probation and there was no real reason. James Shepherd was more level headed, and apologised to me when Nick went home. I liked James, and although they are fraudsters he is actually a nice guy. None of us knew that we were doing badness, we were just promised a secure job in sales and a decent salary (especially for my age at the time). Eventually everyone saw the light and left. Nick now works in Flo's Pie & Mash in Crayford LOL. So much for all this money and jewellery and cars.

I worked with both nick and james and they were great guys - and what we were doing was by the book but unfortunately the company didn't make enough money otherwise they would still be going today and I would still have my job. whatever they are doing now I wish them both luck. Dan

Well, looks like another idiotic blog thread that is way off track from what should be posted on this website.  If you want to chat with each other, go set up your own page.  Time for the mods to start cleaning house here.

Can anyone tell more details about the goings on inJubilee Diamonds, or Remark Consultancy.

@Flo Pies, Remark Consultancy was a company based on Tiller Road, Isle Of Dogs where Nick Jacobs and James Shepherd "employed" (but never paid) people to cold call people and sell the idea of a pension review. The forms would go to the customers, a letter of authority (meaning we had control of the pension) was signed by the client and they were supposedly given to a company called Base Financial, who are financial advisers. This is obviously not what actually happened - the money was stolen from these people as soon as the letter of authority was signed and returned.  Jubilee Diamonds was selling diamonds that never existed, scamming people out of thousands.
