- potential investor replies to Mooni know people who have made money from carbon credit investing. hmmm. why is your statement so broad sweeping and generalising?
- erygI can't seem to get hold of Dakota Partners International ltd. Any idea what they contact details are.
- Richard replies to Manor Rose Land Fraud: ClosedCan I have your email address
- Gerry K replies to City| 2 repliesHaving been solicited by this co. to buy Carbon credit and refusing point blank 5/6 times during the process, to no avail, their over exuberant''salesman'' resorted to, quite frankly, insulting me.When I later enquired if they were regulated by the FSA as they were selling an investment I was informed that they did not have to be due to the nature of their business..This was all news to me.
I would like to know if I can report them to some authority as regards their response to my objections to how they conduct business? - MoonI would like to clarify that my previous blogs that I have posted, were no way intended or aimed at Manor Rose.
I have never had any dealing with Manor Rose and can therefore pass no judgement.
Please do not base your future investment decisions on my previous blogs posted. - possible investor replies to Gerry K| 1 replyGerry K, I too have been contacted by said investors. After consulting the FSA on the matter(3 Feb), the FSA said that investment agencies selling carbon investments do not need to be regulated by the FSA. However, as their portfolio also includes land, residential and commercial and as they are are selling in the UK to UK clients, they would need to be regulated by the FSA. The FSA said that this particular investment company are not currently registered by the FSA as being investment advisors in these areas. The FSA further advised me that they would be investigating said company and advised me against investing with them.
Please feel free to contact the FSA directly for further advice etc. - Common Sense replies to possible investorTo sell/advise on selling property land you do not have to be FSA regulated. Estate Agents are not FSA regulated.
- Investor101I came across this blog after a friend of mine told me about Manor Rose's carbon credits as he has been paid double digit returns twice over the last 6 months.
What firstly interests me is how illiterate most of the blogs are, if they have been written by real investors then maybe you should buy a dictionary, it appears to be the same spelling errors on all of the negative comments...
Also it appears 'Moon' has retracted all his/her statements, maybe due to potential defamation?
According to my friend, Manor Rose deal with an FSA regulated custodian and the credits are registered in my friends name on an exchange.
I am a seasoned investor and if all of the paper work is in line with my expectations, as my friend says it is, then I will probably test them out.
I would presume most 'normal' people would probably note that anyone can write anything on the internet. Someone once said ' You shouldn't always believe what you read in the papers'... - nad| 1 replyMAnor rose! pressure sell. its true! i read the post in here and i can verify they are true descriptions of the company practice. BEWARE! I raised these posts with seller on the phone and he claims its previous employee who is unhappy.Seller said the company is taking employee to court over comments and its all behind them now. Since when was previous employee that unhappy that he would risk court and penalties for libel comments. And all the other comments are they ex employees too!

- CDJB replies to nadManor Rose pressure me to buy land and they even give me all the calculation, I am not a mathematical person but when i add all up why someone will pay so much money, Robert Somal said to me that the land owner is reducing the price to 3 mil and there is a buyer and will make around 9 mil.. So they dont need my money, they pressure me to buy it when i talk to the director i told him i dont need to invest on the land i actually want to get my money back from the carbon credit and he just put the phone down.
I keep calling them and asking them to give my money back and i dont mind just the capital i dont need
the profit. they drag it till march. i call and call but this time no one pick the phone then yesterday i found out there are in In solventry. i am hoping that i can get my money back. as i work hard for it i did not con or scam other people to earn it. i did not sit in my [***] to earn it. I hope this people realized that what they doing is wrong. - passer byFunny now Manor Rose & Dakota Partners International seem to be in the same boat!
- passer byI think we all should start naming and shaming people, i.e. the manager or ex-directors who handled the calls.
- eryglets just hope the people who have invested and had nothing in return wil receive something back soon.
