I think you got the complete wrong end of the stick, this whole blog was related to two companies & their issues, if anyone is doing any stirring its not me, but you!

Your trying to make the blog move away from the original subject.

well i also am aware that certain people don't want their names mentioned.  The ones that are promising the money back.

They want a stress free life, what about the people they took money from and left nothing in return!

There is only one reason for post removal. It is a TOS violation (SPAM, fake posts, etc).

your credits can still be sold a long as they are on the registry, or another brokerage may take your credits on, although selling will still create a loss at this time, i don't think you have been scammed just need to have the right info at hand.

It would be very useful if you could perhaps give people some tips of how to sell the carbon credits.  Lets face it most of us haven't a clue.

We are currently talking to another company who will take on our carbon credits but to enable them to do this they want us to put in another £3000 in to purchase some of theirs, they will then consolidate theirs with ours.  Dont know whether this would be a worse move, anyone any ideas??

I wouldn't trust them, when my friend got involved with Dakota Partners, as soon as the 'scam', was discovered.  My friend started receiving phonecalls from other companies, saying they would help sell the land etc.  Don't trust anyone, speak to the FSA, and get a company that is FSA registered to help.

What ever you do don't give them your hard earned cash.  My friend bought land and hasn't got anything back yet.  Whats the companies name?

I just did a search, the company has been Dissolved.

The company registration number was SC165374, and it was based in Scotland.  It was dissolved in 2004.

Do you have the company reg number?

in my advice, if you have any documentation from manor rose, ascertain where your credits have been registered you should have a vcu/vcs serial number, run a search on said registry to check if your credits are actually valid. if so you are in an ok position, as you should have been advised this investment is a 3-5year hold, Dealing with other companies may not help at this point as you will have to part with more money. hope this helps.
