I had a call from this company today. I am on TPS and ex directory.  The caller said that since they are not selling, TPS does not apply. The TPS website says "sales or marketing calls" so there is clearly a small loophole there about surveys. There is no need to get people with elderly relatives or children abroad, who might (do!) phone when in trouble, out of the bath for a survey to find out what people want in the way of services. I asked for my number to be removed - so we will see what happens. If I get another call, a complaint is going straight in to Ofcom!

This number keeps calling my home, last time was on a Sunday at 10am, its either silent or a recorded sounding voice of a girl who starts taking bout surveys, I always put the phone down, this seems very dodgy to me, one did mention banking once, I now have the number on block.

Received a call from this number today at 8:21 pm. I didn't answer it as I didn't recognise it. Rang it back and it was GFK NOP. This is the second cold call I've had in as many days. Companies need to learn that hurassing people is not the best way to do business.

Had a number of these calls, I usually check this site. This time I forgot and answered. It was a call for my son from GFK NOP I put the phone down. (# chwhit - Ofcom won't do anything)

Got a call from this number this morning. Did not answer.

Number belongs to http://www.gfknop.com/  The call disturbed me in the middle of something important The woman on the other end asked if I wanted to answer some questions about mobile phone companies. Told her I was not interested. She did not apologise for disturbing me or even thank me for my time. Instead she just said "Is there anyone else there who could do this?". Obviously only interested in what she / GFK can get out of people and no thought to the inconvenience caused. Very unpleasant.

This lot rang two days ago asking to speak to my daughter, when I asked who they were they said "Chief Executive of Learning Skills" looked Learning and Skills Council up but it is called something else now. Next day they rang back and spoke to her, it was actually GfK NOP with a survey. The survey seemed quite relevent asking about employment since college (only general questions). If it helps assist in how funding is given then that's good but having an 'official' sounding chap ring up being slightly vague with me I found worrying and intrusive.

This number has been calling for weeks, but leaves no message. I answered today and they asked for my step-daughter - she never has calls like this so where have they got her full name and our number - we are exdirectory.

I was called from this number at 3pm on a sunday by someone saying they were the 'Chief Executive of Learning Skills'. They knew my name. I guess they buy your number and name from somewhere. My husband took the call and told them to ring another day. I rang 1471.

Another two calls over the weekend from this anoying market research company, I wont answer calls from this number.

How many of these market research companies are out there?  Everyday, I get at least one call from such companies.  Today it was the turn of 02078909051.  I gave the caller my usual response about not wishing to take part in surveys and my opinion of their intrusive calls interrupting my day..  The resonse was that they have every right to call my number and there is nothing that I can do about it.  The annoying thing is that as the law stands they are right.

I just received a call from this number here in Ireland. Thought it was a friend of my Mum's calling from London first so I tried to ring back but got an engaged tone. Then I got worried in case something had happened to my Mum (she's 84) and she was trying to contact me. Especially when I got no reply to my Mum's phone!
So then I googled the number and found out it was a marketing co.
Seriously, wtf??, Why is a British company calling here on a Sunday morning?? very annoyed for getting me so worried.

This is GfK NOP, who are a survey company who act on behalf of several well-known companies who try to get customer feedback on various things. I had two calls (neither answered) from them. On both occasions, they called the day after I had raised a dispute with my credit card company. Lo and behold, I contacted my credit card company and yes, it was them who had passed on my details. Not impressed because I had told my credit card company before that I did not appreciate marketing calls (and they had adhered to it for four years before this!) But anyway, if they call you, think about any companies you have recently spoken to, because it is most likely that they passed on your details for marketing purposes and not GfK NOP trying to randomly contact people.

I have been getting calls from these numbers i havent read any of this forum i dont understand why they keep ringing me at aukward times 3am WTF. and cut off soon before u answer> what does this company do and why do they keep foning

im registered disabled and had a call off these people last night when she asked me to do a survey  i politley said no then they rang again this norning at 5 to 9am had to get out of bed to asnswer the call when i did nobody there !!so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have asked them to stop calling me but to no avail !!
