The purpose of the call is to obtain personal details to sell on
Your bank will not need to call you to ask for personal information
Do not be fooled to give out any information.

this number keeps calling my landline and when i answer they hang up its becoming a pain now i need it to stop they do it four or five times aday

got a phone call tonight but do not know who they, as i was out, just wish they would stop ringing my landline as i have not give it to anyone in london

Asian lady ,Said they were Barclays Huntingdon branch calling about my visit to Barclays Huntingdon which I have never visited.

A call at 9:30 last night - wanted to debate why I don't deal with cold callers.  

Interesting that use of diallers and nuisance calling has increased since the company passed into foreign (German) ownership.

Just one more reason to give these people and their valued customers (including BT) the cold shoulder.

I have received a call from 02078909051 at lunch time today asking me to do a survey when I said no I was working they said they would call on Sunday!

Calls from 02078909051 are from GfK NOP, a large UK based Market Research company. GfK NOP is currently carrying out customer satisfaction surveys for a wide range of organisations including financial, healthcare, automotive and technology companies, and often focus on satisfaction with the service provided by the organisation, delivered through various channels of contact (branch, telephone, online). Any personal details, supplied by clients for ‘market research purposes’ are held securely and never sold on to other companies for any other purposes. Got a call from 02078909051. It was an Indian call centre, told them not to ring again and to remove from the database. Don't know it is a coincidence but my husband was made redundant in February and since shortly after we started to receive unsolicited mail and phone calls. Prior to this I had done everything possible and had removed our details from all the usual list and we are ex-directory. Is it possible that the government sell your data through the benefits agency?

I have received about 10 of these calls in  the last couple of weeks from this company.  Its getting so bad - not just this company but lots of others to - that we have now subscribed to Virgin media's caller Id - at a cost to us - which really annoys, but at least now when I get a call the number is displayed so I can check who's calling me  before I  answer it or not.
If  I dont recognise the number I dont answer and then check on here to see who it was.
I also think if it  was anything important they would leave a message.

I got a call from this number about 5pm tonight. She said she was doing a survey or something like that. I just said I wasn't interested and put the phone down. I'm getting sick to death of these types of calls. Most times I just don't bother to answer my phone!

Bought a Truecaller and zapped them hehehe

I complained about this directly to the company and received this back from a Lindsey Betteridge who is Quality Manager for the company.

As below:

His no  called and asked if thay could conduct market research it was and not a sales call, i obliged and they asked me some details about windscreen repair, how many cars in household, what repair companies i had heard of etc. then went on to ask what was the main occupation of the main earner in the house and were they in charge of staff. at the end of the call she raced though the company name a million miles an hr, gave the phone number for them too fast and then put phone down as soon as she had said it!!! hope it wasnt a naughty id theft call!!

another scam called. I have added to barred my barred log is full and each time has to take something out and replace with another scam caller. ENOUGH! LEAVE ME ALONE
