Do you really think anyone believes this staged conversation between 'you' and Nascimento. Or that he doesn't look at this site often. It's made me angry enough to post.

I'm a genuine investor, in Pearl Island. I've even posted once last year questioning Nascimento's critics. The he directly (not just his cronies) used the scam mentioned above to get me to buy shares. When I found out he cut contact with me. I'm not sure how he thinks such a strategy, directly involving himself and then giving up control over events, will benefit him.

Shall I meet with you, Michael, or email you on info@morganforbes for financial restitution? I'd be happy to report back to everyone on what happens.

The only way that he will get people to stop writing on this forum is if he does things honestly. I suspect this forum will run and run.

I can assure you that you may think the conversation is staged but not from my end.

The one thing this will iron out is whether it is MN writing on here or some other person impersonating him, cos if no response comes via the other route then you can only conclude it not him.

I am just picking up on these recent posts and just wanted to clarify a point you have made, are you saying that. It was Michael himself that sold you additional shares in the pearl island project after the claim of a sale was made?

I am sure you are not the only one to spot that typo, but if you look back at the previous page you will see the email correctly typed, so think you are looking to deep for flaws I think.

I not only did as requested in the post from Michael but have had a reply, will be talking to him shortly in person, so at least it seems that the Michael Nascimento posting on here is real, of course the response from the email address could have been sent by anyone, however it will be harder to substitute his identity in person.

Maybe he has picked you out as a possible source of good PR for him and as a potential further investor.

Most of these posts are just time wasting tactics from Michael Nascimento and/or his associates. Investors have three options:

    1) Sit and do nothing, and possibly never see their money again.

    2) Take civil action against Michael Niscimento. Request a charge order on Michael Nascimento's home address as the Ponta Do Pargo and Pearl Island contracts are in his name. In the case of the PDP investors it should be an open/shut case of breach of contract as investors were promised a refund plus 10% if construction of the hotel didn't start by March 2013. In the case of the Pearl Island investment the dodgy timelines in the Pearl Island brochure would expose PI as a complete scam as the firstly the land can only ever be used for agricultural purposes and secondly the land is only mortgaged by Michael and not owned outright. Michael would have to provide paper work to the court proving this was not a scam. Consequently any evidence given in a county court implying that PDP and PI were scams could then trigger a police investigation. So the likelihood is Michael Nascimento would probably settle out of court.

DMD media was a sister/shadow company of Morgan Forbes.

    3)  Actually report it to the police. If you are an official victim of the crime then you should be liable for compensation and the Proceeds Of Crime Act whereby, if found guilty, a court would issue a compensation order against Michael Nascimento to repay all the money that Morgan Forbes and it's sister companies have made from the scam otherwise he can have time added to his prison sentence if he doesn't pay the money back

    http://content.met.police.uk/Site/investmentfraud

Also it's worth contacting the Financial Conduct Authority as when Morgan Forbes were closet down in the UK, they thought they could still operate from abroad (hence Acropolis SGPS, Amber Crest etc.) However these companies are still illegal as they are selling to the UK without autorisation from the FCA.

If you sit back and don't do anything then not only will you most probably not see your money again but Nascimento and his associates will be allowed to continue conning other people.

Take the case of Daniel Snelling. He was recently put away for a wine investment scam and has now been served with a compensation order so clients can get some, if not all of their money back. However Daniel Snelling like Nascimento, was able to run several different investment scams because investors left it for ages to report him. The sooner and more people that report Michael Nascimento, the sooner and higher probability you have of getting your money back.

The question is how can he limit the damage which will be caused by his setting up a scam on Pearl Island, showing a fraudulent contract to people and pretending he had made a genuine sale of the land to people who were selling to Hilton. Who is going to give him permission to build anything, let alone a major hotel.

If Michael was arrested and charged then as long as you reported to the police as a victim of the scam then you would be entitled to compensation under the recent Proceeds Of Crime act. Michael's UK and EU assets can be seized until all the money he made from the scam has been compensated. If he doesn't pay up all the money in the Compensation Order then he will have to serve extra time inside. It's because of the Proceeds Of Crime Act that a lot of organised criminals are moving away from investment scams because there is an easier paper trail for the police to follow.

I sent an e mail to Michael Nascimento 8 days ago (info@morganforbes.com) giving full details of my investment as was suggested. 7 days later I got a very polite reply back from him. He explained the unhelpful posts being posted on this forum and the unwillingness of the website administrators to remove false information. He offered to discuss the Hotel project at any time. However my investment was in Pearl Island and this was controlled by Ambercrest and Morgan Forbes had very little information on that organisation. Must be a nice prison with access to e mail etc!

Amber Crest is run from Canary Wharf with Tyler Jackson listed as the director. Tyler Jackson is the son of Lynn Howard (director of Galissard, one of Michael Nascimento's other shadow organisations). Lynn Howard is a personal friend of Nascimento's, so him saying he know's nothing is absolute nonsense. Plus the fact they are selling from the UK still is against FSA/FCA instructions.

As this expert states, Amber Crest and it's affiliates are just Ponzi scams.
