- Steve replies to DP| 2 replieshello , I too am looking for info on First capital wealth,,, not sure if there is a link to the scams sited on this page , but find it un-nerving , will no doubt pass on this one,,,
- Rick 1 replies to Steve| 1 replyFirst Capital Wealth are a company based in the UK. They give an address as Wood Street in London, this in fact, is a virtual office shared by a number of other companies. They have contacted me by phone with an opportunity to invest in property in Madeira through an associate company Berkley Brooks LLC.
They have applied pressure to invest and are associated with Amber Crest and Pearl Island by admission.
They have a website and send a brochure by e mail. Berkley Brooks LLC has no contact details and are dissolved in the UK.
They give the impression that they are an established multinational financial company with offices worldwide, searching though these do not exist.
The company, according to Companies House, has been incorporated for less than a year has no accounts or returns shown. They record one director with £1 of capital. Companies House has no record of a telephone number or website. They were previously known as Global Media Leads Ltd.
When I e mailed my misgivings about and questions to the company they did not reply.
Not great credentials for confidently doing business on the basis of a cold call. - don m replies to AnonThe facts are the hotel shares were sold at £18,760 for 4 weeks of a hotel room, this being1/13th of the hotel room, therefore £18,760 x13 then x 64(hotel rooms)= £15 million,Nascimento states offer is fully subscibed, then the heat of the FSA,forces M.F.to run from the U.K.then in Madeira one year later he is selling the same land shareholdings through Amber Crest!! now let us all get real, how can this be?with regard to the £15 million(if it is real) after all this time even with low interest rates nice little earner,as i have stated in the contract money would be returned plus 10% per annum now where on earth can you have a return of 10%? all my questions will bringno answers because anyone who knows anything could easily understand what this so called investment was good luck in your recovery.

- anonymous| 18 repliesThe scam below was investigated by police after just three complaints to Action Fraud.

At least give the authorities the chance to investigate whether the PDP hotel and Pearl Island are scams or not. If it turns out they are scams then you would have never got the money back, but at least would have a chance of getting some money back through a compensation order if there is a conviction. If the investigators say it's all legit then you've got a weight off your mind and can be assured you'll get your returns.
Even if it's just telling them that you were promised returns ages ago, the authorities need to now something isn't right. Especially in light of Amber Crests closure.
If Michael Nascimento, Stephen Murrell, Danny Wall, (all three were Morgan Forbes directors) and Lynn Howard haven't done anything dodgy, then they have nothing to worry about.

- M.F. replies to P.I.| 10 replieslook up the latest morgan forbes website for details.
- P.I. replies to M.F.| 9 repliesI looked again and there are no details about Pearl Island. Does anyone know the planning situation for Pearl Island, which is important as this is where the criminal investigation is occurring; all we hear about is the hotel.
- Anon replies to d t| 2 repliesCan you please publish name of officers or dept so others can follow your lead,
- Anon2 replies to AnonIt's very unlikely police will appeal for info directly on here, and certainly won't put their names on here.
However if you contact Actionfraud they can then pass your details/info onto the investigating officers.
www.actionfraud.police.uk - anon replies to P.I.| 8 repliesIt is stated on morgan forbes site planning consent has been obtained, but it does not state Pearl Island.
- P.I. replies to anonit just says planning consent has been obtained for the PDP project ie the hotel. Pearl Island investors are left in the dark again.
