My mother has just had the same problem - it seems that the company talked her into handing over her bank account details and she's now lost about £3k. This is nothing but a scam

I had a call on the 3rd March, from a very pleasant Indian gentleman from Sanda, who went through a lengthy discussion about aches & pains etc.  I told him that I am in my 70th year and really am quite fit and do not suffer from aches & pains except when I start gardening in the spring.  I also told him that I take Cod Liver Oil and eat healthily especially lots of oily fish.  He then asked if I eat Pomegranites to which I answered not really as they are so messy but I do drink a squash with pomegranite juice in it.   He then went onto say that the most benefit was in the skin, which they make into a one a day pill.  He said that he would send me a free sample, which I agreed to until he asked for credit/debit card details.  I told him that I do not divulge these details over the telephone, he then said " that means that you do not trust me" I answered "no" but I then felt that he was getting angry so I said again that it was not him, it was just my policy not to give out details on the telephone.  I said do not bother to send the FREE SAMPLES and  bid him goodbye.  I then did a 1471 to see if the telephone number that he gave was the same, it was except for the last digit, which was 2 instead of 0 obviously they all have a different last number to their own phones.

this is a perfectly legitimate number with a perfectly legitimate health wellness centre. the concerns are invalid because i have personally dealt with them and they do not store any of our card details . they do not set up a Direct debit on the bank a/c as well and they also have a professional website ie www.sandawellness.com. the remedies they have are perfectly natural and much safer compared to the NHS.

I am a Practice manager at  a GP surgery.  I was contacted today by the son of an 86yr old patient.  The lady was telephoned yesterday but the caller did not identify themselves but did proceed to list her current medication.  The lady assumed it was the surgery calling and when the caller suggested she would benefit from a course of Pomegranate tablets but they would need her credit card details.  Sadly she gave the details out and her account has been debited by £179.50.  I telephoned the UK number but it goes straight through to a call centre in India.  I spoke to a chap called Spencer who assured me that if the lady phones them back they will refund all of her money.  When I asked how they obtained the list of medication he denied that they had that information and that there must be some "mis-communication".  After 10 minutes I realised that I wasn't going to get anywhere with Spencer, but this has been reported to my local Primary care Trust and alerts have been sent to all GP Practices in the county.

My mother got a call the other day from Sanda, where the call was started by some Indian girl, where she was talking about Rosehip tablets for her joint pains, saying it is a medically approved painkiller. Then when my Mother said she is not interested, she said she will transfer the call to someone. Then came an Indian guy trying to speak in an English accent. That was the worst part, because my mom could not understand a single word. He started with telling her on Rosehip & then jumped onto some Burn And BInd tablets, saying she does not need Rosehip but Burn and Bind would help her. My mom fed up with the conversation which was over an hour, gave her cc details & the company just charged her for #210. This is very bad.

Hi, my mum-in-law's been had by these today for £188. After speaking to a lady first she was then passed over to what was supposedly a doctor. This doctor then convinced her to buy a month's sample only for £11.95.

Two separate payments were immediately taken totalling £180.

Luckily she contacted her bank branch as it was an unusual payment to be made and they informed her of the extra charges made. To prevent any further action they immediately cancelled her card and created all new details for her.

If you ever get a call from these people instead of helping you they are preying on you; either hang up or if you get a repeat call again then ring the Police and have them done for harassment. I hope Trading Standards shut them down soon.

THEY HAVE DOCTORS WHO CALL AND GUIDE WHICH NO OTHER COMPANY HAS DONE ................SO ITS WONDERFUL. THEY HAVE A TELEPHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT SO I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW CAN THEY BE FRAUD IF THEY CAN BE REACHED EASILY.........DO NOT POST COMMENTS WHICH WILL DISCOURAGE OTHER PEOPLE TO EVEN TRY THE PRODUCT.

My mum has received a call from this number and has been talked into parting with the sum of £193!

I am so worried that she has handed out her bank details to one of these scams - she told them that she could not afford it but they said not to worry that once she got the tablets that if she sent them back they would refund her money!

I think this is so wrong, my mum is elderly and I am panicking that she will be targetted now!

I am so angry that they can get away with this!
