- marksonic666The way I treat all cold calls to my telephone line is that I regard them as a scam at the onset of the conversation, and if they start trying to extract banking details then that is the time to put the telephone back in its cradle.there is an ulterior motive for all cold calls and that generally is a financial transaction that benefits the company that calls you, while you are just left with useless pills and potions plus embarrassment that you have just been had plus promises to yourself that it won't happen again.so think, think, think and think again,if the call isn't from a relative, friend or workplace, then chances are they want your precious bank details.
- MikeAn aged friend of mine got called by Sanda Wellness last week. He said the foreign person was very pushy. They somehow managed to talk his details (bank? card?) out of him. Today a box of pills (rosehip) arrived and he's found he's being charged 360 pounds (a great deal of money for him). He had no idea that a large sum was involved and would never have agreed if he had been. It will be interesting to see how they respond to his request for a refund. This is clearly a scammer of the worst kind, preying on the elderly!

- bobWhat a fool I am. I just had a call from this firm and got talked into ordering a 30 day supply of a pomegranate supplement for 14.99 and fool that I was gave my bank card details to a woman called Carol. Then I was handed over to a supposed doctor called Keith Sharp.who would monitor my health progress over the phone on a monthly basis..........(sharp al right!) He began suggesting I needed to take 2 tablets a day for 6 months ten boxes but two of them would be free. But I would need to pay the £2 + for shipping. Start adding that up....... £179.88 +. I told him I didn't want to do this and managed to get off the phone. I went on the net to see if they exist and low and behold found this site. Now I am going to ring my bank to either change my bank details or warn my bank that this has happened and what can be done about it.

- REBECCA replies to RACHELSounds like you work for the company. My sister called me today because she's been contacted and I've advised her to steer well clear. Perhaps you could advise them that when someone says 'No', they mean 'No' and to stop hounding people. The same stuff is available on the internet at half the price!
- Clara Fernandes replies to Patricia Hughes| 1 replyHi Patricia,
I don' know if you remember me, I am one of the callers from sanda wellbeing and it was me who referred you to the nutritionist at sanda's about the rosehip and i am glad that the rosehips have helped you and also would like to thank you for making an effort to clarify things to people who are being misguided.
This is for the ones who go through the website. Its a request to do your home work (ground research) about the stuff that you'll are reading or putting up on the website. Remember a "A pen is mightier than a sword". Trust my written English is as good as expected since i am not a British women (An English women) - jim grimwoodI was contacted by an Indian sounding man today 15/07/10 who said his name was Derek ( very Indian I don't think) .. As he was paying for the call I let him waffle on about the benefits of Rose Hip syrup which he said would be most beneficial for my Arthritis ... after some 8 minutes came the crunch.. Would I like a sample of their product at half price, only £12..99 ?.. If so how would I like to pay... Visa. American Express ?.. I politely told "Derek" that I get FREE medication as I am an O A P and rang off
BUT HOW DID HE KNOW I WAS AN ARTHRITIS SUFFERER?..Who leaks this information ?. - SusiMy 86 yr old mother called me in alarm today as she had received a package of rosehip with an invoice for £70+. She said she didn't order them but as she has become quite forgetful I called Sanda Wellbeing and was told that they are targeting elderly people with their products and she had indeed not only ordered them but had paid for them with her credit card. I am very alarmed by this because whoever took the order must have worked very hard to get her to give him all her details as she does get muddled. Any sensitive person would have realised that this is taking advantage. I therefore feel this is exploitation of the elderly and should be reported.

- george cairnsI recieved a call from an indian lady by the name of Mitzie, who gave me this number so that I had a contact for her if I wanted to check up on the company.
The company name and web site she gave me was www.sandawelby.co.uk, so that I could check out the prodact, rose hip, which has the ingredient GABO.
She gave me the web site so that I could check it out to assure me that it was a correct company and she will phone back tomorrow for my credit card detasils to pay the £14.00, reduced offer price as i am a pensioner.
very charming and helpfull but like others I do not give my card details over the phone, no matter how good a deal I fail to cash in on, and recommend that nobody else does, no matter what or who.- Caller: Sanda Welby

- JanetI got a call from a man this morning with the same offer - reduced price of this supplement for "senior citizens" - but as we hesitate to give card details over the phone i declined and now I am extremely glad I did!! He said he was from Sanda Wellbeing and I had no reason to doubt it but thought I would check on-line first that they existed. I shall NOT be ordering!

- janet replies to marksonic666Think you could be right there- just look at the very poor English used in these so-called laudits of the products they try and sell. I am VERY scpetical I am afraid.

- SandraÍ am a registered nurse .My elderly aunt aged 74 was recently scammed by his company for so called burn and bind ''diet tablets. She received an unsolicited call from them. They took 499.00 pounds sterling from her bank account . I feel so angry that she was duped . I feel that any positive feedback on this company is by their own representatives. Dont be taken in by them report them to the police. Get them shut down. they are fraudulent.

- kath replies to VeronicaI received a telephone call this afternoon from a Ronald Miller at Sanda Wellbeing who also knew that i was a arthritis sufferer and offered me pomegranite tablets at a reduced price, he also asked me some personal questions ie my age, weight, height and how much medication i took daily for my diabetes. by this time i thought he was some sort of a doctor, he was indian and sounded very professional.. He then asked for my address at which stage i said i was not interested until i had spoken to my diabetic nurse at which point he put the phone down. I then investigated the firm only to realise of the scam and am only thankful not to have been taken in as have had some unfortunate people.
- Marcus SchuldinerI dont know what to say.... Some people benefit from it..some dont...but most with the negative comments here dont believe in alternate medication anyways. Being of German origin, i do believe a lot in natural substances than any bloody chemical based medication..But most Brits will continue to be stubborn and of a negative approach..Im not a fan of cold calling..but if im getting valuable information..i would say it wouldnt hurt, provided i do my research and am convinced its a genuine firm... Play smart guys..not oversmart though!
