Interesting - Salil Patankar also has links with another scam health supplements company - Elbon Wellbeing. See this link below (look on the right hand side of the page to see fellow 'co-worker' Salil Patankar mentioned).

    http://www.companydirectorcheck.com/charles-damian-boniface-avileli-2

Salil Patankar briefly was the director of (now dissolved) company called Elbon Holidays.

The directors behind Elbon Wellbeing - Charles Damian Boniface Avileli and Elvino Francisco De Souza are both based in Goa, India.

More proof that all of these scam companies are interconnected.

Phoned a daughter of an elderly lady today after her daughter was being harassed on the phone while I was working in her premises.
Turns out she has been buying Pomy and Rosex for months from this lot  and had just given her card details before I could stop her.
Hopefully her daughter will take my advice of going into bank and contacting trading standards and police.
Bit of digging shows it's the same company and directors again under a different name.

A 40-year-old former sales director of a BPO firm was booked by the Nirmal Nagar police in Bandra (East) for allegedly using the company funds for personal purposes and cheating the company of Rs9.5 crore over the past three years.

The UK-based company, Your Lifestyle Private Limited, formerly known as Sanda Wellbeing Private, a wellness and health care company, had hired the accused, Mahesh Matta, as a senior sales executive in its BPO office in MIDC, Andheri (East) in 2008. The corporate office is located in Bandra (East).

According to company director Vijay Dalwani, Matta, who had 250 people reporting to him, had approached the board in 2009, requesting advance amount for welfare and development activities of his employees.

"About 43% of the sales was allocated for this, which included salaries and incentives. When an audit was conducted to examine the financial dealings of the company in 2011-12, which concluded in 2013, we were informed that bills worth Rs2.4 crore were forged. His explanations were not satisfactory. In another audit, it was found that he failed to submit bills worth Rs5.9 crore, along with wrongly claimed incentives worth another few crores. We immediately terminated him and filed a civil case, after which we filed a criminal case on charges of cheating, misappropriation of property, forgery and criminal breach of trust," added Dalwani.

He said the accused used crores of company money for personal reasons, such as foreign travel, diamond purchase, property purchase and investment in shares. Matta received interim bail two weeks ago.

Matta's lawyer, Dinesh Tiwari, however, said the allegations are baseless and borne out of personal rivalry. "We have filed a counter-case against the directors of the company. They have not submitted enough proof to show that the incentives were wrongly claimed. Besides, there is no proof of transaction or documents that so much money was handed over to my client as advance amount. No company can hand over such a big amount to a representative to be disbursed among the employees. The counter-case is going on in court," said Tiwari.

Dalwani said further investigation by the police has revealed that Matta opened several bank accounts and evaded tax on a large scale.

The Nirmal Nagar police said they are investigating the matter as per directions of the court. "We have examined all the documents and submitted them in court. We have checked all the financial dealings of the accused since he joined the company," said inspector Shankar Bhore.

Go to your bank, get it treated as a fraudulent entry to get the money back, cancel his cards and the bank will refuse further reqests for payment,
Sadly it is the method of marketing 'brow beating' the old biddy into submission to say 'yes' to get the caller off the phone is the stumbling block for our elderly folk to overcome

They have called again to ask how she is feeling, probably to get her to buy more. Like one of your previous contributors I have blocked her card... here's hoping.

This company called my 89 year old mum, way back in 2012, I think, and said they were from a health centre - she thought they were her GP so divulged loads of personal information! Then the saleswoman/man tried to sell the supplements! Thankfully, my mum was not conned into parting with any money. I called this company back and told them what they were doing was illegal as my mum's phone is registered with the TPS so she shouldn't get ANY sales calls (from the UK at least). I have now looked up this company - it is dissolved AND was investigated by others after I made my complaint to Sanda Wellbeing and passed the information to the BBC. Pleased to get the job done and shut these Indian scammers (based in Bexley) down - though no doubt they'll start again under another name...

Fortunately , unearthing scams has been my forte and that too scams leading to us vulnerable.

My visit to India and back has been insightful with many documentary evidence to nail such scams, i have been assured of more evidence once i reach India post Christmas, one such scami is mentioned below,

This is regarding the Company named “Sanda Wellness” which is into health supplements related to various health concerns. Sanda Wellness changed its name to “Natural Wellness Products Ltd” which filed for insolvency and I understand that, ironically has been sold to the company “Your Lifestyle Products Ltd” and is presently operating in the field of marketing health supplements by means of telemarketing in the UK . The fact that the Directors or atleast one Director in the company Your Lifestyle Products Ltd is common to the company Natural Wellness Products Ltd and thus it cannot be ruled out that the so called dissolution and sale of the company Natural Wellness Products Ltd is a mere eyewash and a ploy of its founder Mr. Ajit Patel to evade prosecution.

These people have no qualms about ruthlessly scamming elderly and vulnerable people - often those with dementia - out of hundreds or thousands of pounds. Therefore i think it is only fair they should be exposed for the parasitic scum they are. Sandwellbeing are deliberately targeting the elderly and vulnerable. They announce themselves as calling from the "Health Centre". They chat away about general health issues, show friendly concern, until they find one to focus on and then pursue a large sale. They transfer calls between individuals which helps to build credibility and confuse the target. DO NOT use them. They are a truly insidious and invidious group.

The NHS in Nottingham issued warnings about Sanda in 2010:
    http://www.lpc-online.org.uk/nottinghamshire_lpc/?news_id=2592
Bogus call to Nottingham City patient instructing them to stop taking their prescription medication, Message received from GP practice in Clifton :-
A company from India under the name Sanda Wellbeing who apparently ‘phone the patient up and advise the patient to stop taking their medication. If patient's raise similar concerns practices / pharmacies should ask patients to report this to the local police.
The PCT should be informed if further incidents do occur.

Kent Trading Standards have received reports of bogus callers telephoning consumers pretending to be from a local GP surgery. The caller gives the impression they are from the NHS and asks what medication the consumer is taking. In one incident the caller persuaded the consumer they would benefit from taking Pomegranate tablets, they took credit card details and debited £179.50 from the account. A victim's son traced the call back to a company based in India. No NHS health professional would ever ask for a patient's credit card details over the phone.
Kent Trading Standards are warning consumers to be very wary of anyone cold calling and requesting credit or debit card details. If you are in any doubt at all end the call. In your home, on your phone, you are in control - hang up.

it appears that, owing to the inquiry launched by the Kent Trading Standards, Sanda changed its address last year and filed for liquidation. They have been successful in this ploy and are now operating as Your Lifestyle Products Ltd .

Sanda even had their own facebook page which has been abandoned after people had posted such gems as "The head of Sanda, Ajit Patel was on trial for years, when he was the Chairman of Goldshield, for trying to defraud the NHS by millions."

The director of Sanda Wellbeing Ltd (later known as Natural Wellness Products Ltd), Ajit Patel, also has a magazine called "Your Wellness" (print and digital: http://issuu.com/yourwellness ), published by Yourwellness Publishing Ltd and if you have a subscription for it they may have used the details you gave them to call you.

    Address: Suite 010 The Beehive

    Gatwick, West Sussex
    RH6 0PA, United Kingdom

The Man Friday of Mr. Ajit Patel is an Indian National,  Vijay Bhagwandas Dalwani, who apart from being a Director in Sanda Wellness is currently a Director in the following Companies :

    Health Media Publishing Private Limited
    Oxeye Digital Solutions Private Limited
    Omatra Foundation
N Gage Marketing India Private Limited
Sanda Office Management Services Private Limited
    Sanda Sevaks Foundation
    Sanda Business Solutions Private Limited
    Dudh Sagar Spa Goa
    Baywatch Goa
    Your Lifestyle Pvt Ltd
    Your Wellness Magazine

Vijay Bhagwandas Dalwani is also the Chairman of the Indian company DNY Hospitality Pvt. Ltd and his family members are Directors. These people have no qualms about ruthlessly scamming elderly and vulnerable people - often those with dementia.

As per his Web site he claims to be some DJ with albums connected to his name, wonder where the funds were wired from.

Meeting employees working with such scam companies has also revealed the amount of funds the Directors have diverted to their family and their accounts for personal gain is incredible.

Further inquiries into the affairs of Sanda has revealed that the company has also evaded millions in taxes, both in the UK and in India and as a matter of fact there is a Police Complaint filed against the Indian subsidiary Sanda Wellbeing Pvt Ltd for Tax evasion which is presently being investigated by the M.I.D.C. Police Station, Mumbai, India under complaint number: MECR 17/2014.

Astounding as it may sound, Mr. Ajit Patel and his cronies have now ventured in the field of developing Digital Applications for Smart Phones and have developed an App named               “n-gage messenger”, which brags to be a world's first 360 degree lifestyle Chat app. The Developer address also being ; Suite 010, The Beehive, Beehive Ring Road, Nr Gatwick Airport RH6 0PA .  Please note that Vijay Bhagwandas Dalwani is a Director in N Gage Marketing India Private Limited.

With a proven history of blatant violations of the TPS and Data Protection guidelines and also Tax laws in the UK and India, how safe your personal data will be is anybody’s guess.

Beware , check credential, it would be an disaster , scam companies to have easy access to your phone and data.BEWARE.

Do not believe any of the positive comments here. They are posted by people working for Sanda trying to reduce the incidence of negative feedback appearing on Google. I encourage all of you who have experienced this scam to write here and expose these unscrupulous fraudsters.

'The right attitude, working hard for what you want and taking no for an answer gets you over any hurdles that are on the path to success.'

Ajit Patel is the CEO and founder of n-gage, a 360-degree lifestyle chat app that promises to revolutionise the way people interact with one another.
While n-gage has its own chat, telephone and video calling format, it can be used to send messages across existing social media platforms like WhatsApp, Skype, FaceBook, Twitter and other similar applications.
Ajit went to the United Kingdom to study in 1978 and qualified with a degree in pharmacy in 1982. By 1989 he was the co-founder, chairman and CEO of the Goldshield Group, one of the most successful pharmaceutical companies in the UK. His company was one of the first, by a person of Indian origin, to be listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Ajit eventually sold his stake to make a tidy fortune for himself and is in India to launch his newest business venture, n-gage.
During his time at Goldshield he pioneered captive call centres in Mumbai in 1999 with GTL. Over a course of seven years, he created several thousand back office jobs in India for the Goldshield Group.
His app, which has been developed in Mumbai by a young and dedicated team, is available in IOS, Android and Web versions.
The app claims to have features that are unique -- it can recall a message, keep a message on the receiver's phone for a few seconds and ensure complete control of the message's life in the receiver's phone.
Sudhir Bisht spoke to Ajit Patel, bottom, left, in New Delhi recently.
From being a pharmacist to taking your company to the LSE to coming to Mumbai, how would you describe your journey so far?
My journey has been a fun-filled and fulfilling roller coaster with some highs and a few lows on the way.
As an entrepreneur I have started many businesses -- some failed, some saw moderate to good success and one of them was a major success.
My first pharmacy business in London, Goldshield going public on the LSE, and my hotel business in Goa are clear milestones.
During my time at Goldshield we had offices in three continents: The UK, the US and India and sales in over 65 countries. This exposure with experience in Africa, my birthplace, I got to understand and appreciate the diversity in cultures across the globe and gain a better understanding of people, a key feature in my journey.
Tell us about your initial days in the UK.
Right from the beginning, my stay in the UK has been fulfilling. Other than the normal everyday struggles we all face, I cannot recall anything unusual.
I believe having the right attitude, working hard for what you want and taking no for an answer gets you over any hurdles that are on the path to success.

As someone who doesn't have any formal training in IT or related fields, what prompted you to start a chat app?
I had no training for most things I did in business. The principles of what I do are the same. When I am passionate about something, I learn.
My knowledge and skills don't drive what I do. My passion drives my new skills and knowledge acquisition.
What prompted you to enter the Indian market first? Why not the EU market?
I have been doing business in India since 1999. I have a passion for the country and I believe it has great potential as the market is young with huge potential. We will enter other markets when the time is right.
Ajit, your n-gage chat app is completely dependent upon the Internet and relies solely upon the service provider's ability to stay neutral to the apps.
Our app relies on the Internet as do other apps. We also have a browser-based version of the product that does not require any download of n-gage.
Whom do you see yourself competing with? You may say your product would complement several other products, but in reality it would occupy the time slots of other apps.
Being a cross-platform app with many new features we complement all the other apps. n-gage users can message other phone users who do not have n-gage on their phones, be it through Whatsapp, SMS, email or any other means.
Our app road map in very different to many existing apps and so road crosses many different types of apps along the way, so the answer will reveal itself in time.
You could be competing against WhatsApp which is fully owned by Facebook. But imagine a situation where that access to WhatsApp is made free of charge by some operators who may team up with FaceBook. Would this hamper your product?
I firmly believe that no one does anything for free. Users these days are wising up, and know that when something is free, there is some level of compromise.
With increasing concerns around privacy, more users will be able to see the need for our product. I also believe in the phrases, 'Where there is a will there is a way' and that 'A river always flows, no matter what the hurdles,' so the success of n-gage will emerge from that.
What is your view on Net Neutrality?
If we can provide services without impacting the free and open market and maintain an anti-competitive environment, then let's do it. The Net must stay neutral for everyone to benefit.
When will you go for a full-scale commercial launch of your app?
The audience will grow at its natural pace with a gentle tug of marketing along the way. There is continuous investment here and we are talking to some friends and family at this stage.
There is for sure an end-game in mind and so very soon I will be able to share with you more!
