This number is a company called SANDA WELLNESS who has just scammed my 84 year old father out of £550.  They rang to offer him some FREE pomegranate tablets and kept badgering him until he gave them his credit card details and sold him a year's worth of FISH OIL TABLETS AND MULTIVITAMINS at £25 and £20 per packet respectively.  It's an absolute disgrace that cold calling on old folk can be done in this way and I have contacted Trading Standards to report them.

Yes, report it.  They have scammed my father's credit card details out of him also.  We have just cancelled the card to prevent any further issues.

My mother was targeted by Sanda Wellness offering slimming tablets. Being 80 plus and gullable she purchased the tablets at £250. We took the tablets to her doctor who advised her that she could not take the tablets. Sanda Wellness made three further calls. My Mother told them that she did not want, nor could she take the tablets. Surpisingly they arrived three more times. They took more than £1000 from her account. She was terrified that they would call and had taken to hiding un opened packages of "slimming tablets". The un opened tablets have been returned. Have they returned the money. NO!!!!
They illegally retained my Mothers bank account details without her knowledge and kept deducting money.
    SCUM.

Please, please report this lot to Trading Standards and Action Fraud.  Unless everyone who has contact with these rats does this they will carry on. Your mum was lucky you were there to take action before the tablets could cause any harm, but one of these days someone will die because of these sharks.

Sanda Wellness is a SCAM!!! Do NOT give credit cards details no matter what you are told. The scam operates like this: Sanda will contact a pensioner to discuss their arthritis. The pensioner agrees to try a sample or places an order for a small trial pack for around £14.95. When the package arrives it will contain a whole months supply & the hapless pensioner gets billed for £180.00. This isn't a clerical error. Thousands of pensioners are targeted daily, sometimes by extremely persistent sales clerks until they part with their credit card details. The CEO of this shabby operation is a chap by the name of AJIT PATEL.

If your disgusting company stopped preying on elderly, confused and vulnerable people with your overpriced quack remedies, there would be no need to bother about refunds.  You do not have any idea whether the rubbish you sell will cause sever problems when taken with existing medication, nor do you care. Sll you are interested in is scamming as much money as possible from your victims.

    Hi.

My mother in law has been conned out of about £600.00.  she is 74 years old and though asked not to( by us her family) has given her card details over to this company twice. Her son (my husband went to the bank with her last week and have yet again closed her account and have told her to put the phone down on her but she says that they are really pushy and keep calling her.  she has now been advised to not answer her phone and to just ring friends and family back that leave her a message.  We are tomorrow going to call the telephone preference service on 0113 3200806 (a lovely girl at the TPS who was really helpful and has heard about sandawellbeing's calls has stated that they can stop phone calls from any international company and will take the company to court if they ring again).  Watchdog must be contacted urgently and close this company down.  Our older relatives are paying their wages at the end of the day and must be stopped!

What a surprise.  My mother in law has also been conned.  You must contact Watchdog and call the telephone preference service on 0113 3200806 who can stop international calls coming through to your family member. The service costs £29.95 and will stop Uk and international telesales marketing calls for life and you can also add 2 extra phone numbers (family members etc) onto this service for the £29.95.

How does this company keep going for three whole years? Since Summer 2009 these complaints stem and I have a suspicion this may be just the tip of the iceberg. What about all those people too embarrassed to come forth and share their experiences? Obviously Watchdog do not care, it simply falls outside of their program remit. That program is just a vanity project for Anne Robinson and her bad wardrobe/wig maneuvers. They would rather expose how supermarkets are falsely advertising goods, they seldom chase the grittier scams. Is there no physical location to this company? No way of ascertaining who the directors of this company are? These people are sickening and everyone working for this outfit should be exposed!

Actually Natalie, I think that post made a lot of sense but like a lot of plain truth is isn't liked by everyone. I don't see how it means they work for this despicable company, and yes, they do seem quite awful. However, Anne Robinson & "Watchdog"!?!?? Come on!
Sure, they get the occasional scoop but the rest of it? Well...

I have found that the rosehip supplement is very good and my knees are much much better. the only problem I found is that too much money is taken for the product and at one time left me overdrawn and they dont always tell you till the end when they allready have your bank details. I would recommend Rosex

My 80yr father has fallen into this trap, he is diabetic, confused, prone to strokes and suffers from depression following the death of my mum 3yrs ago.
He answered a cold telephone call from them and sadly gave them his debit card details, he has subsequently had a total of just under £1800 taken from his account between June and October 2012.
I am a retired Det Sgt & I am disgusted in what they have done, its an absolute disgarace, they did not discuss any products nor did they discuss any finances involved.
Due to my previous employment, I investigated the issue further & one of the things I did was take a sample of each of the products to Holland & Barrett only to discover that a similar product with the same amount of ingredients would have cost a total of about £140. I also took them to a reputable Internet Supplier who informed me that the total cost would be around £200.
I have printed off the similar products from the web sites of both these companies as evidence to support the value.
    The Director of the Internet Supplier was horrified by what had happened and gave the following observations about Sandwellbeing's products;

    •    The Rosex has average ingredients which can be bought off the shelves at a much cheaper price than your product.
    •    In many years experience in the trade she has never seen the creams distributed separately for use day and night, she believes they both do the same job.
    •    In relation to the Hi-Cell vitamin syrup, she told me that each box is worth about £2 and the contents of each sachet does not contain enough of anything, the amount of vitamin C is less than the dosage for a child and it contains Parabins which are considered in the trade as no good and can cause cancer, she describes this product as junk.
    •    In relation to the Active Lifestyle tablets, she told me that they were average multi vitamins and worryingly informed me that they would not mix well with the Rosex she suggests to the contrary that a person taking them both would not have an active lifestyle as the Rosex is taken by people with arthiritus.
    •    In view of my father’s ill health, she also made mention that you should have mentioned to him that he should consult his GP before ordering or consuming any of your products.

I eventually contacted Sandawellbeing to complain & ask for a full refund, on advice from the Citizens Advice for Consumer Goods, I have written a letter to them complaining that they have breached a verbal contract & mis-sold the goods to my father.

I am currently in dispute with them as at this moment they are only going to give me a refund for £799.

I feel very strongly about this issue and I am prepared to go all the way to Court on this matter. It is clear that it is a scam for them making lots of money, preying on the vulnerable & it is an absolute disgrace.

My father was left with hardly any money in his account, nobody should ever be put in this position.

If anybody wants to respond to my message, I would be grateful for an email contact address, so I can discuss this issue further, the more people who complain the better chance we all have of allowing our relatives a happy retirement, which is stress free.
