Rang twice today.

We have had a new line installed in our new home (via virgin) and low and behold the day after installation, this number began calling asking for either Mr, Mrs or Ms Doddsworth!  This has gone on for nearly 6 months now.  They rang the other day and asked if my teenage son was Mr Doddsworth, stupid boy said he was for a laugh, they said they were wanting his bank details to credit his bank account with £300 as a mistake on the banks behalf.

Have not had any cold calling for about 6 weeks now.  It all stopped and I was getting 30 different numbers ringing me. Thankfully I have caller ID.  The phone went at 5.30pm tonight and of course I answered it.  No one there at all so they have started again.   I will now know with my caller ID to look for this number.  I just wish I could get hold of them.  They would not ring me again.

I keep getting called from this number while I am at work -- I have told them that I am signed up to TPS that said I am still getting the calls -- I have caller ID so I'll be watching out for this coming up and will just not answer.

Had a call from that number hundreds of times over the months, and finally managed to speak to someone who had a thick Indian accent. Luckily I could understand they wanted me to claim back ppi from a person who'd 10 years previous lived in my house. Tried to explain this to him but he pushed towards me making a claim for this other person who I did not know. After near 30 mins of trying to explain the fraudulent nature of doing that, the idiot said "f**k you, f**k you, f**k you, mother f**ker
To which I promptly replied in a loud voice "C**T"

This number called, Sounded like a [***], said he was in Japan, blah blah blah PPI. Told him to go F*** himself & never call again. He rang back 8 times, each time he got some serious heavy language & threats of extreme violence. Eventually i took phone off the hook as he is obviously a window licker & wont take no for an answer.

Had this number call me tonight, Asked for a name and I said they don't live here. Indian then replied why the fcuk you lieing, So i said what and he said fcuk you so I told him to fcuk off you pa** he rung back about 5 times and now has given up.

my daughter has had 3 calls today from this no a man with an indian accent wanted to know if she had facebook account so he could chat with her

Guy with an indian accent called to tell me I could get back PPi payments on a £5K joint loan I had with my wife from 2005 to 2008 with Lloyds bank. I've never had a loan!
I told him he was a scammer he said I was 'stuck up' so I told him to P**s off

we have had this number alot over the past two years, today he was very dirty and things he said ws very disturbing, after this call about 30 mins later they rang again I hung up I think this is the best thing to do.

I've got scammed by this number.  Claimed company regulated by Ministry of Justice and stated I was owed PPI.  I felt for it hook, line and sinker and gave some details including DOB.  Worried now about potential consequences.

The call I got was around 16.00 today and I am still thinking what happend at 22.10 I have never herd such bad abuse, he was nasty very rude dirty and just made me sick, I am not going to type what this person said, but tese calls have been going on for 2 years, I  have joined the TPS lets see if this helps, some have said its a scam, how if they shout this sort of abuse at people.

I registerd with the TPS but this number is still ringing me but there is nobody there :(

I Just received a call from a man introducing himself and company name extremely fast with a broard Indian accent. Asked me... Know told me that i had taken out a loan between 2005 - 2008? He assumed I was the person? And continued with his magic. Who regulates these people?? B.T (british telecom) failed???

had this call today, didn't pick up as fed up of answering to survey/ppi claims/accidents etc.

answerphone picked up and a guy said 'thanks for nothing' and slammed the phone down

charming.....it's not like i asked him to call!!!!

Annoying call were no one answers

constant calls from this number when answering a male/female says 'hello' then cuts off

I receive regular silent calls from this number and also from 02392987557.

When I try to return the the calls I get the message, this number has not been recognised.
When I contacted my service provider, they told me the numbers are registered to Welcome Loans, a company in the Southampton area.
I did a Google search and found a Glasgow based company that trade under this name. They assured me they have no connection with the ( 02392 ) phone numbers

For those registered with 'the telephone preference service'(tps), as far as i can tell they have no power to do anything about these calls, and at last check have had no convictions.

Iv heard people getting stressed over these phone calls and arguing with them,
no point getting stressed, u dont know who they are,
just have some fun, make fun of them, slag em, it worked for me the other day after about 10 calls in 10 mins the caller started getting abusive so i used their accent and slagged em for about 1 min and hung up, iv not had another call since.
