I got a call from the guy.  He talked to me regarding a job in middleeast.  when i tried to contact i got fax at the other end.  Optus shall do something about it.

I got a call from this number, and it was my friend in Canada.
He was using a calling card so id say its just a number used as a hub for calls, which is why it doesnt work.

My friend who lives in Florida, USA calls me on my mobile from his home landline and this is the number that appears on my phone when he rings. Must come through some exchange here in Sydney?

Hi all, yes I just got a voicemail from my friend in the UK and also had a missed call from this number but only after reading all your above message did I piece together that it must have been her calling from overseas...

the [***] called me so many times. im based in Perth WA. what the F@#K is his problem. get a freaking life already

so wait, some people are saying its marketing, others are saying its the gateway to australia and it could be a family/friend overseas calling?

could somebody confirm which one it is? im from perth and this number often calls at the most inappropriate times (usually in the middle of the night) but i have family in europe and im wondering could it be them trying to contact me or some kind of marketing scheme? HMMMMMMM =[ all i can do now is wait for it to call again and hopefully try and pick up before it stops ringing, coz when i dial back i get the same thing that has already been mentioned by every1 else

My friend from Amsterdam called me on my mobile from 02-8209-4700, thought she was back in Oz but nothing of the sort. We both couldnt explain or work out why this Sydney number came up?

i got acall from this number 0282094700 yesterday and he spoke in my language and whatever i was speaking he repeated the same at 2 pm on thursday then again the next day i got a call from same number an englishman speaking and offering to start a home business on internet

This number ring me yesterday. I just wondering why he know my name..He offer some jobs in Middle East. May be, it is an employment agent who used diverted call centers, but why he did that if it's legitimate business.Something smell fishy and am worry about it, he know my personal information. I tried to call him back but optus said disconnected line.
