Better to be out of work than working for one of these companies. Calling in contravention of the TPS, calling at all hours, using hidden or falsified numbers and trying to scam innocent people is not the way to cut your sales teeth! If you are that unscrupulous you don't deserve a decent job in sales or anywhere else.

I was called by Energy Care Dept from 01245 392548, it's a Chelmsford dialling code, twice I told them we are not interested, and as we are registered with TPS  wanted our number removed from their call list. These people are so annoying and just don't take no for an answer.

Same thing as above Brandon from Energy Care Department, on 07502 131613, he went into his spiel and when I asked if he had heard of the Telephone Preference Service he promptly hung up.

Judt received a call from a lady claiming she is from enrergy care department of which i didnt think exist as to speak to ms L and i said energy care what and how did you get this number? And she replied oh i must have the wrong number and hamged up. Scammers

Wow - these guys have quite a track record. Just found my way here researching a cold call received this evening..

First call claimed to be working with the company that installed my solar panels, with some story about having to do a regular check that they were still working well. They were not able to tell me which company installed my solar panels, so I hung up. I wasn't rude - I said I wasn't interested and said goodbye - but the caller wouldn't stop talking so I just had to put the receiver down.
Was Called back by 'a manager' wanting to know why I had hung up.. then said the first caller was a new starter and apologizing for the misleading information. (surprised they bothered rather than just skipping to an easier target - maybe he wanted to show his team how good he was..) Now he explained they are calling to see if I qualify for a government initiative to provide batteries for PV systems. The usual questions about age, type of house, number of people I live with etc. Now expecting the inevitable (unless he twigged that I am not a gullible pensioner) call back to tell me I qualify and they have a representative in the area....

My call came from unobtainable. I hung up and the caller rang back with a string of foul mouthed abuse. Don't hang up on me you.....
