Guy rang saying her was from the Energy Care Department. I asked if this was part of the government. He said sort of. I started to type it in to search online. He must of heard the keyboard as he quickly rang off. Scammers!

I keep getting calls from this company using the intro that I bought my panels from a company that went bust - liquidated 2016,  saying I should have had a follow up visit to check the safety (!) and efficiency of my panels.
They seem to use a range of phone numbers. so using 1572 is only a stop gap. Don't believe them _They sell storage batteries.

Just had yet another call enquiring after the health of our solar panels.  Who are you? Energy Care Dept.  I don't know who you are.  Why don't you listen?  Why don't you be polite? Oh go away!  And she hung up. This one was from 07508165582.  Just keep asking for identification, they soon give up!  But tiresome and a bit unpleasant.

What a load of [***], clearly some canvasser that got sacked, yawn.

Think you’re correct. I’ve had exactly this from “the energy care dept” with a Basildon dialling code (next door to Brentwood). Scam of the biggest magnitude!
