I recently had an interview at new north house Brentwood,wasn't told anything until upon arrival.during the hour long interview it was said we would be trying to get 'bites' which basically Meant appointments booked for solar panels and was told the bites are how we get paid.we have to get 6 bites a week to qualify for our £300 then a further £50 for 6+ but if we however get less then we would lose £50.

He made it sound so believable and honest.while sitting in there the place was full of young ones blearing out loud music did not come across as professional in the slightest,for a second I was completely sucked in so I came home and decided to research the company I may be working for and came across all your comments.thank you all for saving me from making the biggest mistake.
I'm not sure about this Bradley person because the person we saw went by a different name the address as follows-:

Caller said that due to our postcode we were eligible for a free solar panel as part of a government initiative.  I hung up.

These scammers calling themselves Energy Care Department are criminals, they have been reported to Action Fraud under

a Chelmsford suspicious number 01245 396872. I had them call 13 times 27/2/15. They got zero.

I worked for the Energy Care Department for around 3-4 months, I was very happy working there, & it is a very challenging  job. If you work hard & have enthusiasm to be a salesman its a great starting point, I've noticed people saying they only got "£90" a day.. Well sales isn't your cup of tea then. We were strictly professional, always smart office dress code, any insults directed at a customer was a sackable offence, and a very very strict no drugs policy. It's fustrating seeing all these poor comments, I understand these calls are a nuance. I also put up with them. But without companies like these. A lot of hard working young people would be out of work. Every sales job says "must have previous experience" for most of us, this is how we get that. Would you rather more young people jobless & hanging around on the streets? I hope not.
