I declined to talk to them.

I too have had a call from this number claiming  to be giving away "free" alarm systems due to high crime risk in my area.

I told them I wasn't interested...

I had a call today offering to help with high crime levels in my area !! As it a Bank Holiday, I answered as it could have been a friend or family. They tried to be so friendly and very concerned. Fobbed them off that I had to answer the door.

Got a call this morning from this number offering free alarm and maintenance in my ( KA) area. A supervisor is supposed to call to check our suitability/ qualification.

Maybe someone checking if house is alarmed?

My daughter got a phone call from them but they asked for her grandmother by name, who died 2 years ago. They then started asking lots of questions. She asked them for their details and they gave her the website and phone number, an 0800 one, It was the same as everyone else, random number, crime in the area etc. I checked the website which is very basic. Be careful as it could be someone finding out if a place has security.

Received a call from Oliver telling me this was crime awareness week would I like a free system, asked him to remove my number as I am registered not to receive sales call, he became abusive and I said I would like the company phone number to report him, he gave me 0800756222 refused to give me his second name to report hiim. I only answered because I thought this might be someone calling from their moblie phone

My BT8500 logged silent calls from 07885911339 and 07885911340 on the same day which made suspicious immediately that it was a junk caller.
