Someone called Kirsty from security awareness scotland called trying to sell me a security system? I hung up.

Be very wary; this is likely a scam where you effectively do the burglar's reconnaissance for them by describing where the vulnerabilities are in your property, as they ask if your home is 'suitable' for their products.

This is a well known security scam! Fake company pretending to sell "security" products. Genuine companies do not call you from a mobile telephone number. If you answer they ask about weak points in your home security. You can then expect a visit from one of their dodgy friends during the night! BLOCK THIS NUMBER IMMEDIATELY

Guy called from this number yesterday to my elderly mum. Very pushy + called several times saying 'He wouldn' take no for an answer.' Abysmal way to treat an old person!!!!

They're still at it ... called me today from 07885911342. Tried offering a free home security system to promote the campaign. Very dodgy, who would want to discuss their home security with a stranger on the phone?

I received a call from security awareness Scotland on 25/2 and told the caller immediately that I was not interested.
He then told me to 'go and sit on a hedgehog ya prick'.
Charming people those security awareness staff !!!!!!!

They just called me, then called again and asked why I hung up... then said I sounded about 12 when I said I was the home owner. Cheeky wee Scottish ned.

I was called from 07885911343 about an "energy awareness free survey" EVERY WEEK last summer.

It seems to be 078859113xx where xx is near to 40 and survey from...

It was someone from Tony Lindie's company called  Energy Grant Solutions Limited at 5 Rowan Street,PAISLEY.

Tony is an MMA boxer and promoter and works out of Sweeney's gym at that address. I sincerely hope he isn't really a burglar and a gas safe registered engineer does the boiler installations.

Got a call from 07885911342 offering free security alarms in my area.. When I said I had an alarm he then asked if it was monitored. Worryingly he knew my name and address.  I phoned the number back and it was answered but without giving the 'company' name.

You don't need to worry. The bloke who is rude has a boxing license when making intrusive sales calls so what chance is it that he lives a double life as a burglar. It doesn't actually help to repeat their fake response anymore of "Security awareness scotland" If they respond with that the next time they call then tell them to just cut out the bullsh1tt and you'll complain to Paisley chamber of commerce, trading standards or Daily Record,blah blah...they won't bother you again.

The present directorship held by Tony Lindie is ENERGY GRANT SOLUTIONS LIMITED and searching that will better inform subsequent searchers to who is calling them.

So you have got the given landline numbers and the fancy mobile phone that probably gives a different ringtone for their outgoing sales to that of 07885911337.

I received a cold call from this firm and when I said I was not interested was told "no wonder the country is the way it is with c***s like you in it!!!!"  Surely its the other way around.

Possibly a new approach from this gang.   I suspenct the same outfit called today with callers number withheld.  Introduced as "Awareness Scotland" and  Initially pleasant enough scottish accented lady tried to sell me upgraded doors and windows because the "national data base" told them we had old ones.    I told her we were on Telephone preference service, and did not want calls. she was defensive when I asked their company phone no.  She gave me a nonsensical number 69813579.  When I said that number did not make sense so please give me your company address.. she put the phone down...!!!

Got a call from this company and my wife said that she wa n't interested, and the caller said "Is that why you answer the phone like a [***] weirdo!"

They just called..... a polite girl, who announced they were AWARENESS SCOTLAND .... tried to confirm my post code to see if i was entitled to any of the services they currently had on offer.....usual nonsense....hung up and did 1471.... they appear now to be blocking their own number

Got a call from this mobile saying they were from awareness scotland re entitlement for funding for installing Windows  hung up

Got the same call today Awareness Scotland and made him aware I was on TPS and he politely said he would remove my name from the list
